Itallianni's

We've known Itallianni's Restaurant for the longest time but this is only our first time eating there.

"San mo gusto kumain?"
"Kahit san."

And we entered Itallianni's.

Off to the good food...

Complimentary Bread with Oil and Balsamic Vinegar

Anything that says, "Good for sharing?"
 GORA US!

You are to customize your set from the given choices of Salad, Pasta and Pizza.

Here's ours:

Insalata Rucola
Lettuce, slices of cherry Tomatoes, Feta Cheese, Walnuts
Honey Balsamic Vinaigrette for the dressing
Seafood Carbonara
Classic Carbonara with mussels, shrimps and squid.
Not bad if this is going to have more pieces of shrimp and slices of squid.
Tig-isa lang kami ehh.
Greek Pizza
Cream sauce with olives, sun-dried tomatoes, feta and mozzarella cheeses
I like this pizza, esp. the sauce.

Due Meal Seat
P 795.00 + Service Charge

Medyo healthy-eaters lang? Walang meat?

Now I understand why a lot of people like eating in Itallianni's: the foods are delicious, the service is good and the servings are hefty. We don't have normal appetites so only two persons consumed everything but we were really full after eating all this. T
his meal set can actually be enough to be shared by three persons.

To be honest, this meal is way beyond our budget.
P 1.00 - P 100.00/person - is okay and cheap.
P 100.00 - P 200.00/person - is okay.
P 200.00 - P 300.00/person - is steep but still understandable esp. if the service and foods are good.
P 300.00 above/person- is woah, pikit-matang magbabayad and at this point, paslang sila pag pangit ang food at service.
Except, of course, for Eat-All-You-Can buffets. They're planned a week/weeks beforehand so there's a saving time involved.

In our attempt to try more expensive restaurants; this, afterall, wasn't a waste of money... we'll need enough time to recuperate though. :))
