An open letter from the cyberbully...

Me.

She calls it cyberbullying, I call it consequences of her action.
She calls it hindi ako nagtatago, I call it nagda-dahilan kasi naipit ka na naman.

Dahil bago pa man nagkaroon ng cyberbully,

May nanloko muna. May nag magandang loob na tumulong. May nagtiwala. May naloko. May nanlamang. May pekeng cafe at pekeng kontratang pinapirma.

Dahil bago pa man naging online ang paghahanap,

May nagtago muna. May tumakbo muna. May taong walang naiwang paraan kundi ang gawin 'to.

God bless.

Bohol 2017: Loboc River Cruise

Pwede bang mag Tagalog? CHAROT! :)))

Maiksi lang 'to.

Eat-all-you-can nga pala dito! :D

Char. HAHAHA

Cebu 2017: Canyoneering (What to expect...)

These are photos taken by our guide. Please bear with our faces. Wala silang choice kundi malagay 'yung photos nila rito at wala rin akong choice kasi wala akong sariling pictures. :)))

Cebu 2017: Canyoneering Experience in Badian.

What to expect?

Wikipedia defined canyoneering as "travelling in canyons using a variety of techniques that may include other outdoor activities such as walking, scrambling, climbing, jumping, abseiling (rappelling), and swimming." Based from experience, walking, jumping, and konting climbing lang naman.

What to wear?

I saw people wearing rubber shoes but I'd say trekking sandals is the best footwear.

We wore our hiking shirt (coz drifit) and I wore my leggings. Pwede mag extra shorts after ng leggings. Bakit?

What to bring?
Just bring money (Okay na P 150.00) and your camera.

The owner of this travel agency told me that she's going to send her contact numbers but she didn't so wala akong mailalagay dito. Anyway, you can find a lot of tour operators in Barangay Matutinao. The usual rate for the whole activity is P 1,500.00 per person but we got ours for P 1,300.00.

What to do before the activity?

Make sure you're well rested. Kakapagod siya, bes. Refrain from drinking liquor the night before and don't be like us. 'Yung buong byahe galing Oslob hanggang Badian, gustong gusto kong sumuka. Maling-mali. Red Horse + Empi? HAHAHAHAHA. Well, well, well...

From the house where we got our gears (helmet and vest) we rode a habal-habal until we reached the jump off point.

Once you're done registering, you'll do a little trekking (around 30 minutes) to get to the canyons of Badian.

We nervously reached the canyons because we overheard a lot of people shouting as we reached the area.

As I didn't search for anything canyoneering related before going there, I didn't know what to expect. Ah ganun pala, pababa ng bundok. Ibang paraan ng pagbaba ng bundok. Astig. Talon pababa.

Ang ganda!

It kind of reminded me of the river we walked through while in Zion National Park.

Everywhere is a picture spot.

HAHA!

35 feet.

Man-made slide after doing the 35 feet jump, 10 piso binabayaran pero slide all-you-can. Yaman nila grabe. haha! Good job sa'kin! haha!

Lakas ng agos!

Konting lakad sa madulas at mabatong daan papunta sa falls...

WOOOOO!!!! HAHAHA. 50 feet jump shems!!!

A post shared by Tin Gallemaso (@xtintina) on

I SURVIVED!!

Feel the fear but do it anyway... huhubells. Bungee jumping at paragliding naman, life.

Ngiting tagumpay... kahit wala ng pera ganern hahaha

Kawasan Falls in all its beauty. Will make a separate post about Kawasan next time. Inuna ko lang 'tong Canyoneering 2017.

Ikigai Kakigori

If you ask me where to get good matcha ice cream here in Quezon City, then I'll tell you that one of your options is Ikigai Kakigori Cafe along Scout MadriƱan. If you have been to this blog before, you would know how much I love my bingsu (Korean shaved ice) but love's just not enough especially when it's EDSA traffic we're talking about. During these burning hot days, me and Seolhwa Cafe, BGC aren't a thing. Haha. Lol. Anyway, I like that I've been exploring Quezon City food finds these past months.

This is their menu.
I hope they're readable but if not, you may find the menu here in their Facebook account. Link.

This is their matcha kakigori

Ikigai - a Japanese concept that means "a reason for being."
Kakigori - a Japanese shaved ice dessert flavored with syrup and a sweetener, often condensed milk.

Yep, if Korea has bingsu then Japanese has Kakigori then Philippines has Halo-Halo. Chos. hehe.

Their homemade ice creams were also good. I've recommended this cafe to other people and they're all asking me to go back with them. Oh, sure!!!!

You'll really taste matcha in it unlike other ice creams which you can barely taste the matcha. I shall return!

Lava Pao (Salted Egg Yolk Custard Buns), Eng Bee Tin

One of my latest food finds in Binondo is this; Lava Pao. Huhu. Eng Bee Tin sells this by piece but the filling of the one that I had there was already dry. I went inside the store and saw that they sell frozen ones so I got one.

I forgot how much is one plastic since this is in my backlog for months now.

Steamed the buns as per instructions in the package.

The custard is the perfect balance of salty and sweet taste. I'm not a fan of the meat siopaos though I eat them sometimes (bola-bola>asado) but this one, I can eat everyday. haha.

Aside from lava pao, I also love Eng Bee Tin's Ube Siopao and of course, their matcha tikoy!

Bohol 2017: Habitat Bohol, Tarsier Conservation

Habitat is a butterfly sanctuary.

Great place to visit especially for children 'cause they will learn about moths and butterflies.

If butterflies are the day shift insects; moths would be the night shifts.

Baklang Butterfly.

My first time holding a caterpillar. Not bad.

What's Bohol Trip if you're not gonna see Tarsiers?

Pics lang. hahaha. :D

Bohol 2017: Dauis, Baclayon Church, Blood Compact Site, and Chocolate Hills

Bohol before the earthquake struck link: here.

I looked for other places worth visiting in Bohol 'cause there has to be more places to visit in this beautiful island but all I found is the countryside tour, which as of this writing, I've done for three times already. I'm not complaining, universe!! I'm just curious of the other places aside from Panglao and those visited during a countryside tour.

Our first stop for that day was Dauis Church.

It is still undergoing rehabilitation from the damages it had when an earthquake struck the province in 2013. They don't hold masses inside but visitors can come in for a quick look.

You can get the plastic bottles filled with holy water in exchange for monetary donation.

Bohol is known as the "City of Friendship" because it is where the Blood Compact happened. Blood compact symbolizes the friendship of Miguel Lopez de Legazpi, a spanish explorer and Datu Sikatuna, chieftain of Bohol.

Baclayon Church

It's also undergoing rehabilitation but unlike Dauis, visitors are not allowed to go in. There used to be an image of St. Pio in the wall at my back but it also got damaged during the earthquake.

Chocolate Hills

There is currently two viewing decks to see the Chocolate Hills (which are currently matcha hills) this one is the one in Carmen.

Emotera forevs.

For thrill seekers, there is CHAP or Chocolate Hills Adventure Park. It has a zipline and a skybike (similar to the one in Eden Nature Park, Davao)
