Things I Bought Online that:

a. are good buys
b. I have repurchased

HAIR CARE:

Purchased - 2 times

Starting this with the reason why I decided to compose this post.
I've had a whole body massage recently and my masseuse told me that my initially thick hair has become thicker. The last time I had my massage with her was more or less six months ago.

Aside from the oil and scalp massager, I didn't change anything from my routine for the past months so it's probably the new hair oil, isn't it?

In December 2023, I posted about my  4th CGM Anniversary - Modified CGM and I was using Sweet Almond Oil back then but I switched to Grapeseed Oil after finishing that bottle.

Purchase yours here: Craftology Grapeseed Oil

I've bought countless scalp massagers and the one I like the most was this one from Bremod. Apart from the price, its bristles are a slightly firm so I can really feel them gliding through my scalp.

Purchase yours here: Bremod Scalp Massager

Purchase yours here: Zenutrients Leave In Conditioner

Purchased - 3 times

Purchase yours here: Cantu Curl Cream for Kids

Zenutrients and Cantu Curl Cream are hair products that I've been using for years so I've previously written a review before. Here are the links: Cantu Curl Cream  and

SKIN CARE:

Posted in 2023: B.Lab Matcha Hydrating Relief Cream Review

This is actually an appreciation for the Lazada Kbeauty Online Shop, Youn Family. It is my go-store and I always visit their page/shop to go window shopping or look for items on sale. When the Matcha Hydrating Cream went on sale last year, I bought a tube and saw that there was an announcement that the best reviewer for the said product will win P 4,000.00 in store credit/ store voucher. I posted and fortunately won the prize. This transaction, so far, is my biggest skin care haul and I only paid P 18.52 for it.

So there, if you're looking for legit Korean skin care products, check them out. Shipped from South Korea so it takes time to arrive.

Purchase yours here: Youn Family

As much as I like Anessa's Skincare Milk, the price of that sunscreen is beyond my budget for sunscreens. I only bought my first two bottles because I chanced upon a B1T1 deal before our Boracay - Cebu Trip in 2022. When I saw this being sold, I decided to try it out and I liked it. It has a slight white cast though and only 35 SPF but it's perfect for daily use especially if you have dry or normal skin.

Purchase yours here: Anessa Perfect UV Sunscreen Mild Gel

While I love my Korean sunscreens especially
Isntree's Onion Fresh Sun Fluid, they can get pretty expensive. One of the best sunscreens for our weather and for those with oily skin that won't go over your budget is Omi. This product is powdery matte without whitecast. It literally looks like there's nothing on your face. This is what I replaced my Anessa Gold with. It's not only good for days when you are more "active" but also for everyday use.

Purchased - 2 times

HYGIENE:

Aveeno is a game changer not only for those with eczema but also for those with recurring dry patches on the arm like me. The effectivity comes with a hefty price because this is definitely not affordable. I often check Kenvue's store too see whether there's a sale going on so I am usually able to buy the 354 ML for around P 350.00/bottle. The screenshot of the transaction shows the orange variant but I was able to purchase the orange and green variants before. Not too bad.

If you have eczema, green or blue variants should be better for you.

Purchased - 5 times (2 orange, 1 lavender, 2 green)

Purchase yours here: Kenvue

Once I went electric, I can never go back to manual toothbrushes. Unless I go on trips probably just for the reason that I don't want to bring it with me. I bought this on a whim last 6.6 and it's actually the best online purchase so far. Oral hygiene is important.  I am a daily tea drinker and a cup isn't enough. One time I went to the dentist for cleaning and she told me that my teeth were stained. I immediately thought tea as the culprit but I noticed my teeth aren't as stained as how they were before this Electric Toothbrush and Colgate's Whitening Toothpaste.

Purchase yours here: Oral B Pro 500

For this one you can wait for a double digit sale since they are sold for almost half their regular price.

One of best deodorant in the market today, I tell you. Okay, fine. This one's a big claim especially since I haven't used other deodorant aside from dove for the past decade but as far as being a dove girl, out of all the deodorants they sold, this particular variant is the best for me.

Purchased - 3 times

Purchase yours here: Dove Serum

TRAVEL ESSENTIALS

One of the best purchases especially for someone like me who takes way tooooo much photos and videos of just about anything. Another 256 GB on top of the existent 256 GB memory of my phone.

Purchase yours here: Sandisk Ultra 256 GB

Anyway, the last time I bought a hard drive was in 2020, I'll most likely get a new one before the year ends because I only have 100 GB left out of my 1 TB hard drive.

Very stable. I was apprehensive in buying this because I thought 1k+ was expensive but I also didn't want to risk it with cheap tripods so I waited for this to be on sale. Mine fell down twice because of the wind but my phone was not damaged - not a scratch. The bluetooth clicker is also easy to operate and connect with my phone.

Purchase yours here: Small Rig Tripod and Monopod

Concluding this for now. I'll post more soon... not that you were asking for it. hahaaha.

How about you?

I noticed a lot of people accessing my Tong Yang post from before. I guessed that it's because of BDO's Credit Card Promo so I'm posting the photos I took in their The Block, SM North EDSA branch when we availed the promo a few weeks back.

It's 50% off per group of 5 to 10 pax when you're using BDO Credit Card to pay.

I don't have a lot to say but here are the photos, taken August 2024.

I was suprised with the set-up and available food here in their SM North Branch. The layout was better and lighting was brighter. It was also easier to look at the food items since they're all in one aisle.

Experience was much better than what I was expecting, tbh. I am willing to eat here again especially if there's another 50% off promo. HAHA

Tong Yang Centris Branch

Not my favorite tempura.
I don't know if it really is like that or it was a bad day but the batter/tempura breading was tough to chew.

From frequent Samgyupsal a few years ago, I've become more interested in hotpots these days and this is probably the reason why I enjoyed Tong Yang more this time.

We've eaten several times at their Centris Branch but I have never appreciated the sinigang broth because I don't like the soup. In that branch, I had no choice but to compromise since we were to share to hotpot broth per table so I just go by whatever my companions want.

Since I got introduced to more hotpot restaurants over the years, I think the mushroom broth was good enough as a hotpot base and I just prepared several dry dips and dipping sauces according to my liking.

Several sauces and dipping options for the grill and hotpot.

Korean station and noodles for the hotpot.

My top five items from this section were:

1. Beef slices in Black Pepper Sauce
2. Salmon
3. Tuna
4. Chicken
5. Mussel

This is the difference, each diner has his/her own hotpot.

Great idea if you're not into mixing too many items or if you're into mixing too many items but your companions aren't. I belong to the first group.

For desserts they had: cake slices, halo-halo station, ice creams, and fruits.

I just got myself a few scoops of ice creams.

Avocado, Taro, and Kesong Puti.

Taro and Kesong Puti are a must-try!

Our total bill for five pax was P 2,070.00. Thank you, BDO and Tong Yang Plus!

Btw, you can do online reservation via their Facebook Page.

Here are the regular rates.

HAPPY EATING!

As far as I know, you have five options to get to Uminonakamichi Seaside Park in Fukuoka.

1. Train
2. Bus
3. Ferry
4. Cab
5. Private Transfer

So far, we've taken two kinds of transportation: Train and Ferry

Japan 2024: Arrival in FUK Airport and Airport Money Withdrawal via Seven Bank

Book your adventure here: Fukuoka Pass

We were from Nanzoin Temple when we went here via train. You can follow the suggested route in Google Map but make sure to alight at the station after Marine World Uminonakamichi if you want to reach the West Gate faster.

Fukuoka, Japan 2024: Winter at Uminonakamichi Seaside Park

Fukuoka, Japan 2019: Spring at Uminonakamichi Seaside Park

We were there on a weekday so there were no food sellers in the area. Since we were from Nanzoin, we haven't taken our lunch yet so we were famished. This Takoyaki store near the gate saved us for that afternoon.

Better option is to get something from the convenience store before going here just to make sure you have something to snack on if you become hungry. The park is quite huge. You can actually spend an entire day walking there. I don't know where to rent a bicycle but that is also an option.

10 pieces for 550 Yen.

There are drinks vending machine outside the Ferry Station. We didn't know if it was possible to eat inside so we ate our Takoyaki here.

Make sure to check the ferry schedule so you can maximize your time inside the park. A lot of people arrived just in time for the ferry 'cause they knew the schedule beforehand, we didn't.

Ferry Fare was 450 Yen per person.

Btww, that nail design/ nail gel was gifted to me by Jinro Soju.

Saitozaki to Hakata Port Ferry Ride

The ferry ride was less than 30 minutes.

Hakata Port

Ferries enroute to Busan are available here.
