I was in Rockwell looking for the restaurant where I bought my matcha powder last year but I wasn't able to find it. Hahaha! Hindi ko alam kung bangag lang talaga ko o wala na 'yung restuarant pero 'yun nga, I failed to purchase. San pa ba meron??? :(

To appease myself, I tried Churreria La Lola.
I tried this mainly because the long lines have always made me curious.
Churros Clasicos

Large (12 pcs.) P 195.00
Hot Chocolate Dip (Large) P 100.00

Infairness naman, I kind of got surprised upon seeing the price. What should I expect, diba? But t
hen I got my order and I instantly thought that paying that much was reasonable. Sulit na.
Ang laki ng churros nila that we only two pieces and took the rest home.

They're freshly fried (in olive oil), the skin was crispy but the inside was soft. But as a chocolate lover, what made me like this more is their Hot Chocolate Dip.
Yes, this is simply one of the most delicious churros I've eaten.

E diba nga, churros con chocolate  'to? Baka kasi bagay. :)
The only thing I didn't like was their location.

It was so uncomfortable because as I've said, the line in La Lola is oftentimes long and those people who come and go at the store would see you eating. Medyo awkward for me. Although I'm not dismissing the idea that you're not supposed to eat this sitting down. 'Yung packaging kasi, mukhang pwede mong hawakan kaya pwede kang kumain habang namamasyal.

Heard they now have a branch here in UPTC. Good job!
Puntahan niyo na kami lahat sa North!!! Hihi. <3

8/12 na!

How are you? :)

Dating gawi! Idk what's wrong, medyo I lost my "voice," not literally but I kind of forgot how I used to write my monthly hello ---- posts. But anyhow, this would be a lengthy one again though I am only showing six pictures from my Instagram account to recall what happened last July and to write down what I am expecting for this month as if they'd matter to you. To save you some time, don't read everything and you may just join me in the last picture. hehe

As you know (or not), I am a July baby so thank you, world for another wonderful year of existence. Unlike last year when we held a mini house party, no party was held this year. I am grateful for everything but I haven't been posting about those things these days. The downside of not blogging as frequent as I used to is this. Although aware ako of my blessings and stuff, iba pa rin 'yung awareness kapag nasusulat ko lagi.

To celebrate my birthday and for more wanderlusting, we went to Palawan. Huhuhu. Posts about my trip are still in my growing backlog. Huhuhu. </3. There are a lot of things that I haven't posted here yet and it's saddening that I don't get to post frequently anymore. I am trying so kayanin ko siguro to be back on track this month and the rest of the months. hehe! Iba pa rin 'yung nababasa ko kung ano 'yung "ako" in the past years.

Lakas kasi maka-public ng journal ko eh. Artista ang peg. Open book ganyan.

To my Palawan travel buddy, Louise Patricia Marie: Alam kong hindi mo favorite 'tong first Palawan trip natin pero maraming salamat!

Oi, wag kayo! 2012 (or 2013 siguro?

Hahaha!

Just so hindi masira 'yung tradition ng mga post kong ganito... :))

I am brokenhearted because I was expecting something to happen this month but as of now (kagaya pa rin nung last two months), it looks like it's not going to push through the way I am hoping it to. Sorry that I can't say what it is exactly but it's something that I am wishing for but I currently have no power to make it happen all by myself.

Pero sabi nga sa second weeksary video ng Aldub, "What's meant to be will always find a way." Hay! Hahaha.

Kung sakaling wala man patunguhan 'to e bahala na, I'll cross the bridge when I get there. Basta ngayon, aasa pa rin ako pero if ever na waley talaga, sad lang but there's a reason for everything...

Desperada?! Kahit anong sabihin ninyo, wala kayong pake, kung, kung, naniniwala akong meant to be kami at someday we will happen! We will happen talaga. hahaha! Oi, asa! Hindi 'to tao! Or hindi nga ba?! Di ko rin masabi. Haha!

-_- Haha. Sabi ko naman sa'yo, join me at the last picture eh!!

Oh hey August! Welcome back to our lives! Please be good to us. Please be a miracle month to us. Good vibes lang tayo ah!

Sorry kung medyo nasayang ko lang oras mo kasi wala talaga kong malagay na may relevance at saysay sa buhay mo kaya para makabawi man lang kasi baka kailangan mo rin, "Waiting is not an inactive thing. It is actively doing what you can and allowing God to prepare you for the next big thing."

God bless us. <3

It was because I've been to their West Avenue branch for many of times already that I wasn't expecting a lot for their newly-opened branch in The Atrium, SM Megamall. In my mind I was like, "Huhu.

But I was surprised as soon as I entered Sambokojin, it was a big feast. If their Megamall branch is the first Sambokojin branch you'll get to try, the older branches, although the food are mostly the same, would be a bit disappointing.

Some of their sushi available.
Dessert area.
Grabe!!!! Nakakalula. HAHAHA! Naniniwala ka ba?? :)))
This one's new.
Soft-served Vanilla ice cream and Frozen Yogurt. Kakamiss din talaga ng frozen yogurt!
And what is the green-colored ice cream that I am seeing?! Why is it still there and not in my stomach?? Hahaha. Charot.
I love you forever, Sambokojin because of your matcha ice cream! Edi wow. hehehe.
Different kinds of soba that I wasn't able to try.

But I heard that their ramen is good.
Grilling time!!!
HULING HULI. HAHAHA!!
My lips are so pale and that means I kept on eating 'cause I had no time to re-apply my lipstick. hehe.
More food options.
It's not like I concentrated on taking pictures of the dessert area, it's just that my hands were always full every time I passed by the main course areas.
Pwedeng swan, pwedeng rabbit.
More options from the sweets/desserts section.
Also love that there are chocolate fountains.

I wasn't able to take pictures of all the sections but there are definitely a lot more.

The whole food area was like an open kitchen so being able to watch the chefs preparing your food is a delight in itself.

Hahahaha. Diet? Diet starts next month. Next month lang ng next month. ;)

See you again soon, Sambo SM Mega!! Dadayuhin ulit kahit malayo.
This is the current pricelist of Sambokojin, SM Megamall.
The options and their contact number below. Nakikita pa naman. ehehe

There will come a time when you'll get so bored you'll book a plane ticket to anywhere. Sosyalin na problema! Lakaaaaaaaas!!! Minsan lang naman 'to. Pagbigyan na ko. hehe.

But in all seriousness, although it hasn't really sunk in that I have gone to Negros Occidental last June, I am thankful for the four days that I spent there. We didn't have an itinerary and we weren't also able to see a lot of places but it was an unforgettable experience mainly because upon constructing my Negros posts, I remembered that taking part in the conservation of nature is an item in my 2015 wishlist.

Sabi ko and I quote, "Take part in anything related to the rehabilitation or conservation of nature."

So rather than posting a skeletal itinerary here like what I have always done, I'll just enumerate my posts about our Accidental Negros Occidental trip last June.

Mahirap bang intindihin, "Relax! Make love not war! I come in fish! (peace) ".... hahahaha!!!!

One of the best stores where you can get pasalubong in Bacolod City is Virgie's Homemade Products store. Hahaha! This is funny because the reason why I am saying that this is one of the best stores is because this is the only store we have gone to. But seriously, no regrets. Di ko nasubukan 'yung iba pero sigurado ko, one of the best 'to.

Sobrang okay kasi na dito kami dinala. Top quality talaga rito. :)
Squid Rings!!!! Don't forget to buy this!!

If you're going there, bigyan mo ko pasalubong plez!!! Itong squid ring saka Napoleones nila. Huhuhu. Bet na bet ko kasi!!
Just some of the options...
YAYAMANIN!!!

HAHAHA.
