Another Korean Restaurant I was able to eat at is Donu Pork and Beef Korean Grill at Polaris, Bel-Air Makati, just a few blocks away from Wang Mart.

I am not sure of the prices since we shared the whole bill and I wasn't paying attention,
so....

Banchan.

Were they unlimited? We had 2 sets, and another 2 refills which I don't know if the refills were added to our  bill.

소고기

So go gi
Beef
삼계탕

Sam Gye Tang (I don't know if this one's romanized correctly)
But it's a soup with whole chicken and Korean Ginseng

This was something I didn't like at first when I tasted a spoonful but appreciated it when I  combined it with rice.
순두부 찌개

Ssoon du bu chigae
Spicy Tofu Stew

I'm not good with 매운 음식  (me-un-eum-sik)  (spicy foods) so the first time I tried to taste a spoonful of this one, I was in tears! But my friends were like, "Why? It's not that spicy." K. Fine.

Well, not the stinging hotness though. Just chug water then you're ready to eat again. This is also one of the reasons why I love Korean cuisine,I tend to drink more water than usual, and that's healthy. ^^

삼겹살

Sam Gyeop Sal

This would never be forgotten for every Korean Restaurant visit.
The only thing though is they served this frozen and unsliced.

That's the table we ate at.

Busog!!

We attended a wedding ceremony today and it's also Mama Mary's Birthday.
Look at her arc filled with beautiful flowers.

I was on my first grade when I became a Marian; I was a member of the Legion of Mary until I turned 18.  Albeit not being a member of any church organizations as of the moment, I still am a Marian.

In connection with that, I have been wearing a miraculous medal necklace for several years now which I believe is something that keeps me safe and strong to go through everyday.

I have many things to be extremely grateful for yet also a lot of things that I am sorry and regretful for. But for always being there despite all my shortcomings, Thank You!

I tried searching for the easiest way of removing glitter polish online. For those who don't know, yes, they're a beauty but the removing process is a pain! It's hard to get them off.

Here's what I found out:
One way is the foil removal method, soaking a cotton ball with polish remover, place it on top of your nail then secure with aluminum foil, wait for a few minutes then remove. That is wasteful! Not to mention, it's also drying for the nails and cuticles.

The second way I found was to use PVA glue as a base coat so you can just peel them upon removal. Well, I let that idea put to rest since I have no glue at home yet. But as I was cleaning my room, I found a large bottle of crafts glue which has been seating in my cabinet for I don't know how long anymore.

Even though I have decided to let my nails rest for the whole week, I couldn't wait to try this out and I did. The impatient me prevailed- as always.

Here are the polishes used:

PVA Glue as my base coat

OMG by Klik's Sunset

A glitter polish

Caronia Fast Dry Top Coat

THIS TURNED OUT TO BE VERY CHRISTMAS-Y.
Ang Pasko sa 'Pinas, nagsisimula pagsapit ng Setyembre naman eh. Basta -Ber month.

MESSY!

I know, right? Well, this is just an experiment.

One thing you must keep in mind though is to try your best to apply PVA glue evenly. My base color was so bumpy!
It turned into a bit orange-y probably because of the yellow glitters' effect and OMG Sunset isn't a bright red.

After applying the glitter polish and top coat, I was able to sort of even out the bumps.
Upon drying, I decided to start peeling off the glue.

And voilà!

It's really easy, much much much easier than trying to remove stubborn glitter polishes using acetone or nail polish remover.

I'm going to try this again and experiment on how well it performs as a base coat some time after my nails' rest period.

Two collages of our brief stay at Mandarin Oriental Manila.

I didn't have that much photos of the other parts of the hotel. Sayang! Natuwa kami masyado na kasama kami sa pictures.

Their ballroom area, I think.

I love the view!

Taken from a room at the 9th floor, I guess that's BGC over there.

Welcoming September with a Korean buffet!
Came back here after around 3 months.

Here's a series of pictures.

Rate's still " P 299.00/person for a Samgyupsal buffet.
And I got around 10 slices of Kimbap this time.

This one's the new addition, I don't think they have this dips container before.

Sangchu Ssam although the leaf here isn't Sangchu (lettuce)

A peek of their ice cream freezer.
And most of us got this sandwiched cookies and cream ice cream.
Do you know how to write sandwich in Korean?

샌드위치

(sounds like sen-du-wi-chi)

Ice cream bars aren't included in the buffet, we paid them separately.

Up to now, I'm still wondering why the Ate gave us the blue ones for free on our first visit.
