Before I left for the states, I saw Santa Monica Pier when my cousin's son was playing with GTA. Haha. I was like, "Pupunta ko dyan!" Not even knowing how. Well, all the places I went to, I didn't know naman din how will I go.

What happened here was a Kuya I got to know and talked with for several times approached me and he was like, "Uuwi ka na sa Pilipinas?"

I jokingly answered him, "Oo!! Di mo pa ko pinapasyal, uuwi na ko." Hahaha. Then from there, we kinda talked our free days out and he drove me and two of my girl friends to California! hihihi. That is more than 8 hours of driving in one day!! Someday, I'll have even more resources so I can bless other people too. 'Yung ako naman ang magpapasyal sa iba. Hihi.

Left home in Nevada before 6 AM but we still experienced California rush hour.

After living in Vegas for weeks without experiencing heavy traffic, it was really a challenge not to complain... now think about how I feel whenever I get stuck in the horrendous traffic here in Manila?! Huhuhuhu.

Pano natin 'to napagtya-tyagaan?!

I mean, these days I kept on thinking about the time that is wasted on traffic congestions. Sayang!!! Sobrang sayang!!! 'Yung oras na worthwhile sana e napupunta sa wala.
Santa Monica<3
Finding some place to park the car at.
From the parking space we got, we walked towards the beach area.

It was a different feeling to be here.

It was sunny but the air was cold.
Santa Monica babyyyyyyy.
My X tan line in my foot was already kinda visible in here. Hala, when did it get so dark?! E June 1 kami ata nagpunta rito. So sa San Diego lang siya nangitim? :(

haha. My skintone got darker eventually from all the lakwatsa for three months and I still have that very obvious X mark in both my feet til now. But yea, be proud of our skin color! Haha!
The water was cold and I wasn't in the mood to swim hence, me in this attire. :)))
Sta. Monica Pier.

Better to go to a place once right than spend several times talking about it? EUROPE. NORTHERN LIGHTS. SOUTH KOREA. JAPAN PLEZ.
Pacific Park Rides

Kami?

Pacific Park Labas haha!
There's no entrance fee in here. As in you can just go there and swim.

And look how far the establishments are from the shore!!! Sana ganyan din sa Pinas. :(

Not the most beautiful beach I've been to but heck, it's still Santa Monica!!! Hahaha. GTA's Santa. Monica. California's Santa Monica!! And there was some dolphin ata or seal that swam near the coast.

We don't have beaches in Vegas - we don't even have a lot of natural water forms there, it's a part of the Mojave Desert so beachgoers will still have to drive or fly out to California.

Inclusive talaga nung pronoun eh. Us, Our, We, HAHAHAHA. Yes, Vegas. Whether you like it or not, you'll always be one of my homes away from home.
Walked along the shore for 30 minutes :))

Got that summer feeling in the US. hihi
And the obligatory write your name on the sand photo.
Haaay. <3
Finally got see it in person!! :))
California Dreaming <3

California Walking <3

I shall be back!

For

California Working!!! <3

Char.

Las Vegas Working pa rin!!

So, California Touring! Or US Touring na lang kaya para mas masaya? haha.
K. May sense.
Bye, Sta. Monica Pier!!
FYI. There's no lottery in Nevada hahaha so when we passed by Barstow we purchased a powerball ticket telling each other that if we win, we'll buy a beach house too.

WISH US LUCK!!

Tuloy ang plano and so much more pag naka-jackpot. Tumataya pa rin si Kuya at may balato pa rin kami pag nanalo siya hahaha! At gusto ko na rin tumaya ng lotto dito sa Pilipinas. Hahaha. #parasaekonimiya #parasaworldtour :)))

Left Nevada again for a day trip in California.

Love love passing through these mountains whenever we're driving at Interstate 15.  hehe.  From the apartment complex, the lights of the cars are visible so when we haven't driven here yet, sobrang curious ko. haha!
Since I lived near the Stateline, the radio program I am listening to at night always mentioned that the world's largest thermometer is at Baker, California. The first town you'll pass by after leaving Nevada on the way to California.

The many times I passed by here though, we never went down the car 'cause stopping at Barstow instead of here makes more sense because eventhough they have the picture-worthy thermometer, it's still very close to Nevada for a stop-over.

Anyhow, aside from Las Vegas which is the usual destination of those driving through the Interstate 15. Baker is also where the Highway 127 is at to reach Death Valley National Park. (Will be posting about this soon but we passed through Pahrump and not here)
We passed by a Walmart store first to buy some food and drinks. haha. Junk food hahaha. I love doing the self-check outs at Walmart seryoso.
This area is called San Gorgonio Pass
We passed by the area on our way to Mt. San Jacinto State Park

Some mountains still had snow on them.
I love looking at windmills.

I don't know what's with it really but I love looking at them so whenever there's a windmill in sight expect me to turn my gaze towards that and kinda be happy that it's in front of me. If you can understand what I feel haha.

"It" started in Ilocos' Bangui Windmills because that was the trip when I decided that I want a life well travelled ganon. hahaha! It was my turning point actually 'cause my posts started to shift to travel from the usual food posts and inarte posts of 2012.

Bangui Windmills link: here.
The 2013 me said and I quote, "It made me want to travel and explore. As far as I can and as much as I can. Yay to more intense wanderlusting. Boo to where should I get the funds. HAHAHA." - three years down the road, I still don't know where to get the funds but OMG! I kinda made it!!! I made it in my own way!!! Success na rin! :)) 4 countries (though layover lang 'yung isa) and countless cities since 2013 are definitely a dream come true for my 2013 self. Hope this continues! EUROPE PLEASE!!!! :)))

Pililla Windmills link: here.

Palm Springs is near Coachella Valley, you know, where the music festival is held but I won't be posting about Coachella nor Coachella Valley only the windmills in Palm Springs if it still isn't obvious.

There are more than 4,000 wind turbines in the area.

Back then we were still not into taking videos of our trip so all I can show you are pictures. hehe. Sayang.
<3

Saya ko pls.

Some would consider this boring but huhuhu ansaya
Riverside, California Counties
More windmills. <3
I only got to know it there that there are a lot of designs for windmills.

That happy feeling of finally seeing that place you've always looked at in pictures. Hehe. Not naman always pala pero I looked at Palm Springs one time in Instagram hoping that I can go there and hihi... I did!!! <3

Third set of pictures from Las Vegas Strip.

Wynn
Flamingo
Palazzo
Grand Canal Shoppes

Not the last from Las Vegas Boulevard. Still have two sets hehe

This was taken on the higher storey of a regular double-decker RTC bus along Paradise Road.

You can see Linq Ferris Wheel on the right side of the road.

Las Vegas sky is usually clear and not cloudy. Hence, the intense sunlight and heat especially during summer. But the air there is dry unlike here in the Philippines where it's humid.
There are real flamingos and other birds in the garden of flamingo hotel.
Back to Venetian Hotel because we still haven't gone to the Grand Canal Shoppes.
Para ka na lang mantsa na gusto kong burahin... Las Vegas Version.

'Cause I initially wanted to travel to Malaysia - Macau - Hong Kong last May but plans changed and I went to USA instead. hihi. Love it!

All for His glory pa din. :))
Will my next Sojourn be in Europe ha, life?
Kanina pa tayo eh. hahaha.

The falls of Palazzo Atrium.
That's why a day isn't enough to cover all hotels in Las Vegas because each hotel has its own attraction and it takes a lot of time to roam around each.
Encore and Wynn
I don't know what's so special with this Popoye but the security is high on this one. No one's allowed to go near.
Wynn <3
Garden-theme at Wynn Hotel.
Sosyal talaga even the clothes of the people there were kinda Formal to Semi-formal Haha. K. Stress.
Can't decide which of Wynn or Bellagio is better haha
Wynn's Lake of Dreams

I can't identify why but the Lake of Dreams kinda addicting to look at.

Wynn also has their fountain show.

Went back at Wynn.

Nights are better. hehe
Lake of Dreams

Those two balls move around during the show here in Lake of Dreams at night.
Palazzo's Falls in Sunlight

Las Vegas Strip is much better at night! Much much better.

The reason why it's called the city that never sleeps haha
Went back to take better pictures here.
Hahaha Sabe

Yup, there's no finish line to this kind of lifestyle hopefully hehehe
Free show called Atlantis at the Shoppes of Caesar's Palace
