Aside from the two days I spent buying some Christmas gifts, I kind of avoided going to malls to shop last December because it was soooo crowded! I was actually wondering where all those people and cars came from. haha!

Last year's Christmas rush was really frustrating because everywhere had long lines and all other things Christmas rush comes with that I wasn't able to buy anything for myself. I mean, I'd also love a gift for me of course. hehehe. It's a good thing that post-Holiday month/season can also be synonymous for sale season so aside from lesser crowd, there are also lots and lots of discounts! Who wouldn't like that, right?

And, here's one from Marks and Spencer that have started last January 3.

Whether it's a gift for yourself (you deserve it!) or for your loved ones even, check out Marks and Spencer stores for their End of Season Sale. They have as much as 50% off on selected items.

I've always been intrigued by this new all day breakfast restaurant eversince I saw its Eastwood branch several months back. For experience, sabi nga.

SM North is becoming a haven for foodies too. Dami na nilang resto!

MAKE YOUR OWN PANCAKES!

For the pancakes, they have their choices of batter, fixins and toppings.
There's a griddle in each table so you can cook and design your own pancakes, isn't that cool?

Theirs is non-stick so you need not to put butter while cooking.
Each table has non-stick spatulas, knives, forks and spoons.
Regular pancake syrup and mango syrup are also available.
You can choose to create sweet or savory pancakes and I preferred the former.

What we had were:

One buttermilk batter (8 oz.) P 225.00
Chocolate Chips P 45.00
Whipped Cream P 40.00
Below are the products of my side of the griddle:
The interesting part of this meal is also the bummer part for me!

I couldn't even think of a good pancake shape. OMG where are you, creative juices? How can you leave me hanging all the time?

But I made a star, a circle and our favorite emoticon; the grumpy, whatever and bored -_-
This was my first batch of creations in a very very very appetizing plating.
I just used the whipped cream and chocolate chips as toppings.
According to the person I was with, this is the proper way to cook the chocolate chips and the pancake batter.

Wait, how can there be a proper way when you are allowed to customize your own pancakes? Tsktsk.

But I liked this better because of the melted chocolate so I made the rest of my pancakes this way.
Only true love can thaw a frozen heart...

Only heat can melt a chocolate chip and cook a pancake batter.
Nye. -_-

Chocolate overload!
Perfect combination for a sweet toothed.
See, I am so creative.
My "5" in 15 looked like an "S" and my smiley face which is like one of the easiest design of all looked like a crazy face.

Needless to say,
Slappy Cakes has brought pancakes to a different level. There's really an added fun factor when you get to cook them on your own plus it's not as expensive as one may think.

An 8 oz. bottle was enough to feed the both of us.

P 310.00 + 10% Service Charge =  P 341.00

Aside from do-it-yourself pancakes they also have varieties of  breakfast meals such as tapa, bacon meals that is available all day long.

안녕하세요!

I was out with two of my girl friends last October and we window shopped at different make-up stores. We were only supposed to look at their products but when we saw this lip tint at Tony Moly, two of us immediately got one each.

I have been using this since the day I bought it and I still have a lot of product left.
The Korean Characters read as:

Tony Moly
Magic Lip Tint

No. 2 Green Apple

그래, 난 한국어를 읽을 수 있어.
Priced at P 198.00
Really affordable, isn't it?

I dislike waxy feel of lipsticks so I stuck with my tinted lip balms for years. Now that I've used this product, I think lip tints are much better in terms of "tint" (duh) though I still apply my lip balm once in while for more moisture.

In fact, I consider this lip tint my HG (ume-HG as in Holy Grail) product for 2013.
This tint comes in gel form and it immediately changes color after application.

I don't wear make-up on regular days and I can go out only applying face powder and lip balm but that has changed for the past months because I can't seem to leave home without applying this on my lips first. There was this one time when I misplaced this that I did an emergency general cleaning of my super kaduper disorganized room just to find it. And I'm not even kidding nor exaggerating, I got so frustrated when I thought I lost this.

Medyo kulang na kung lip balm lang eh, nasanay ako na meron nito. Nasabihan na nga ko kung bakit daw ba parati akong naka make-up. Huhubells. Lip tint lang po 'yon.

I AM APPREHENSIVE TO POST MY PICTURES HERE BUT OKAY. WHATEVS. WAG MO NA LANG SABIHIN SAKIN NA NAKITA MO 'TO KUNG KILALA MO KO.

NAKAKAHIYA MUCH PARA SAKIN NA NAGDADALAGA.
BWAHAHAHA.

Left picture was taken months ago, lip balm 'yun.

Middle and Right pictures were taken after I applied this lip tint on my lips. For me the longer it is applied on my lips (without licking, drinking, chewing etc.) the better or brighter the color becomes. The bright pink color this changes to is also the shade I prefer.

The color is lasting and though it's not really that moisturizing, it's okay since it's not also drying. Just enough. But I also bring my moisturizing lip balm with me too just in case.

And if I tell you that it smells like green apple, would you still find that surprising even if it's already in its name? Just asking. :))

This is the photo that pushed me to blog about this.
Nothing in this picture was adjusted (brightness, contrast etc.) but look at my lips or maganda lang talaga 'yung sikat ng araw. Pero swear, mapula/ma-pink talaga siya yet it looks very natural. hehehe.

This picture was taken last January 3 at Enchanted Kingdom while riding the Wheel of Fate, an hour or more after applying the lip tint.
Even though I like this a lot, I'd like to try the rest of the magic lip tint line as well.

"Isn't it funny how day by day nothing changes, but when you look back, everything is different...” - C.S. Lewis

Happy New Year to all of us!!
Wishing everyone the best of the best for this year!

@ Eastwood Mall

First, natatawa ko.

May Santa o Fairy Godmother ba sa blogosphere? HAHAHAHAHA.
Kasi kung meron.

Dear Fairy Godmother,
world tour po. :)))

Happy New Year 2013 link: here.

Ang tyaga ko magsulat dati oh. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Saka kaya ang hirap mag sulat in public because your words can be used against you someday eh. For that someone who's using my words against me; let's see where this is headed.

2013 went by so fast! Hadn't I keep this blog, I wouldn't not be able to recall most of what happened to me again. hahaha. Ulyanin lang ang peg ko forever.

Anyway...

Yesterday, I was "general" cleaning my room that is filled with mementos and "garbages" from 2013 and years prior to that then I stopped because I got lazy. Pero last na katamaran na 'yun, I'm a changed girl. hahahahahahahaha. Medyo nakaka-stress lang maalala ng past. Saka diba, general cleaning my room on new year's eve won't make it clean the whole year. Kailangan consistent sa paglilinis whole year round.

Let's be consistent, Tin!!!!
Consistent in going "uphill"
Consistent in doing the right things.
Consistent in making better choices.

KAYA!!!

To bring in the new we have to let go of the old. This means we have to accept what is, let go of what was and have faith in what will be.

Thank you, universe for a life-changing 2013! I mean, ako pa rin 'to but I'm definitely better than who I am before.

Saka kailangan ayusin ang system because even if it's embarrassing to admit, wala talaga kong plano. Most people make plans for all aspects of their lives while I'm here busy watching them because I can't seem to think of any plans for myself.

Then I thought that maybe not planning anything is the "plan" that works best for me. Maybe I just have to focus on the things I do day by day and see where this is going. Sincere and consistent efforts na lang siguro rather than making New Year Resolutions and plans na hindi ko naman talaga na-a-accomplish.

'Cause if there's one thing that I learned from 2013 is that, it's the little things you do everyday that matters the most. They do add up. Maybe if I focus on "upgrading" and learning more about me I'd be able to see myself in a bigger picture someday. Yes, wala pa kong ma-focus na kahit anong goals for now pero I can divert and focus on achieving happiness at kung anik anik. I shall have my own plans for myself someday. Pero nasa process pa rin ako of finding out kung ano ba talaga. Late bloomer kasi eh. hahahaha

Happiness, blessings, wealth, good health, peace, and raket 2014!
More opportunities, more experiences, more adventures, more risks and, more challenges 2014!

At kailangan consistent ako!! Hindi lang sana 'to dala na pwede kang magbagong buhay tuwing new year.

Let's be consistent, 2014!
Cheers to my 3rd year of blogging!
Surprise me, year of the wooden horse!

P.S. Ang hilig ko sa ! hahaha !!!!!

This fine-dining Italian Restaurant was featured in Jessica Soho Reports several months ago and my friend, Louise, told me that this was the restaurant where some scenes of the movie "One More Chance" were filmed. I was ecstatic when she told me that. It's like finding a treasure when you're not searching kind of feeling. Hahahaha.

Since then this has always been on my list of restaurants-to-visit/ John Lloyd - Bea-shooting-places-to-visit and it has been finally crossed out. I think I only have two left namely the opening scene of "The Mistress" and Malaysia's Petronas Towers.

Manila Paco Cemetery link: here.

This has been in my backlog for more than a month now so sorry, I have already forgotten the taste of their food but nonetheless, all were definitely delicious and the restaurant itself is really worth the travel time if you live far from Cubao.

Italy in the Philippines ang peg.
Someday, I shall!
Dip for our bread "appetizer"
Vinaigrette something
Maybe it was a wrong decision to order this bread too when the waiter suggested.
P 100.00

We were already full after eating slices of this. -_-

Leaning Tower of Pisa.
Someday, I shall too.

That was the first time I've gone to Cubao Expo.
The ambiance of the place is like you're being transported back to the 70's or even later than that. I don't even know. But if you're into antiques, must visit!

Mej biglang bigat lang sa pakiramdam pag enter.
