This first part will include the "intense" recreational activities in Eden that I tried: Skyrider, Skycycle and Skyswing.

Pricelists and schedules of EDEN Nature Park's Activities as of January 2016.
Resort Map

Didn't expect it to be this big.
From the reception area, we were taken here where the fun takes place. Haha!
Pricelist as of January 2016

I don't know if I am just not exposed to these activities a lot but I think EDEN Nature Park has a lower price than other establishments offering the same attraction... or am I wrong?
WOOOOOOOO. <3
Finally.
Even those who don't know how to ride bicycles can ride this. Hey, it's just 60 feet high. No biggie. HAHAHAHAHA.
Raining....
Kuya Joey, our driver and photographer, with his signature zipline move. I CAN'T.
YESSSSS. Next shall be the zipline in South Cotabato. Huhu

I had no companion so I was alone when I rode the Sky Adventure... didn't know it will be the start of doing challenging things and conquering fears ALONE. HAHAHAHAHA. The funny thing was when I was slowly pulled up (100 feet high), I was telling myself, "Ito lang matatakot ka na, paano pa pag....." Well, inarte lang. HAHAHAHA.
It rained after I tried the swing so we went to the restaurant and ate the complimentary snacks.

And these are what we had for that afternoon.

This is one of the attractions in the outskirts.
Our second destination for day 2.
The eagle center is inside Davao City Water District Watershed so you'd have to pay P 5.00 entrance fee first.
As for the entrance at PEC, I lost my list of expenses but it's probably around P 150.00/person.

Ganda ng bamboo. Some of the bamboos there are more than 20 years of age.
Just one of the many eagles in the center. Those that are outside the cage like Mindanao, are eagles that were rescued/rehabilitated and aren't able to  fly anymore. Sad. Especially when you think about their nature of soaring very high in the sky. :(
This one is Fighter. The one at fighter's back is also Fighter, the eagle. Charot. Basta si Fighter 'yan.
Its wings were shot and hence, it isn't anymore able to fly. For the "regular" tourists, you can only take pictures like this one. But if you have Kuya Roy with you as well, then there's a possibility that you can take similar pictures like what I am posting below:
Dahil sobrang galing niya mag project... hihi

I was able to hold this small owl because of Kuya Roy as well.

Happy to be toured around by Kuya Roy, a recent tourism hero awardee.
Thanks for the special treatment!!!! char. :))))

Monkey to be "served" for the monkey eating eagle's release day.

We mall hopped on our first night.

An activity you might like to forego because there are a lot of other attractions to go to in Davao City aside from visiting malls that look similar with the ones found in Luzon. Ehem. Abreeza. Hahaha. Meron night market somewhere, okay din dun. Ramdam na ramdam ang pagka-Davao.

One of the the reasons why we went to two malls was because we were looking for a Starbucks cafe and there wasn't one in Gaisano. Why? Sometime in January, we thought that it would be cool to collect Starbucks tumbler with the name of the places where it was bought.

This picture was taken at Gaisano Mall called, "The Peak" I saw pictures of this in Instagram and I was kind of disappointed because in the pictures I saw, there were more Christmas lights. Di ko inaalis though 'yung possibility na nagligpit na sila since tapos na Christmas season. Hehe. But anyway, there's an installation with the words "Hi Davao" here so worth visiting pa rin.
That was supposedly the main attraction of The Peak. Haha. In the pictures I saw, it looked like Singapore's Helix Bridge. Oh wells...
More art installations in Gaisano...
Abreeza looked a lot like Makati's Glorietta, Quezon City's Trinoma and Fairview Terraces. Haha. K. Since I often see Ayala Properties everywhere I go, I'm now considering buying their stocks. HAHAHAHAHA. Someday. Hopefully during the last quarter of this year. <3
Now it kinda looks like Greenbelt.
Here's what the Starbucks Coffee tumbler looks like. After buying this, I am having second thoughts on whether or not I'll make this into a collection. Collect nothing but pictures pa rin ako eh. Mas mura. Haha!
Day ended with a bubble bath.
I knew that our room has a bath tub so I made sure to bring some bath gel.

This is one of the perks of having a Sony Xperia Z3 as your phone. Di nakakatakot na mabasa but since the universe is generous to me, I will become an iPhone convert soon. Sana makuha ko na my new phone. Hihi.

So that was it.

Day one was packed but with the things and activities that don't need to be blogged about.

Wait for day two posts! :D

Glamour Resto 'N Caterer
Padre Gomez St.

This was recommended to us by the driver who picked us up from the airport. As soon as we heard that there was unli crabs we were like, "SAAN KUYA!?"

However, we had a difficult time finding their restaurant since we didn't know where it was. The driver told us it was only walking distance from our hotel but we were too bangag to remember the directions. Get what I mean? I just googled the location before we left the room and when we got in the location, wala naman.  The taxi driver we hired wasn't familiar with it as well so we went down in Chinatown because we're starting to get frustrated. Haha!

So for those visiting 2016+, nasa Padre Gomez Street sila.

But from Chinatown, we were able to ride a tricycle and the driver was immediately able to bring us here upon saying, "Kuya, dun po sa unli-alimango kami pupunta. Alam niyo un?"

After all the circling in the area, we arrived here just in time for the opening.

As we entered, we saw three tables of tourists who still had their luggages with them. Dinadayo talaga 'to ng mga tourists especially those from Manila like moi.

For 438.00/person, exclusive of drinks, you get to eat the following food:

The choices are limited but they're enough for me especially because the alimangos were so taba. (Conyo much)
So.. mas masarap nga ba ang prutas sa Davao?

<3

Sobrang taba!!!! Haha. Loved all the food!

Just make sure you arrive at the restaurant early because even if they said that it was "unli", it isn't. They only refilled this for around three times and so those who came in late weren't able to enjoy the "unlimited crabs."
Kilawin
Sarap nung rice sa kaliwa.
Crunchy Chicken.

As much as I am sorry to the fish eggs (left part), they're one of the food that I like eating. haha!
Sorry sa millions of fish eggs na kinain ko.
THIS IS WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT!!!

Sulit na talaga for crabs like this. Wala pa ever sa lahat ng nakainan kong buffet o actually lahat ng nakain kong crab na ganito kataba. Ingat lang sa may mga high blood pressure. Not good for you.
Worth it and true.

You really can't leave Davao without eating here... unless you don't like seaafoods, of course. :)

And guess what? Malapit lang talaga siya sa'min. Haha. Parang less than 10 minutes walk kasi nung pauwi kami, wala man lang nadagdag sa flag down rate nung taxi. Yan yan. At least nakarating kaming Chinatown... :))

Where to stay in Davao? Hotel Uno.
I chose this as our accommodation for two nights because its location is strategic. A lot of tourist attractions are just walking distance away or a jeepney-ride away.

Here are some pictures from our room:

Basic room for basic needs pa rin.

I rarely go for expensive hotels for out-of-towns because I'm not staying there all day anyway. Sayang ang amenities. lol. For being affordable and comfortable, I liked Hotel Uno a lot.
But it wasn't perfect because I didn't like the bathroom.

The only divider of the room and the bathroom is this glass wall, no cover sa taas and no exhaust. I am just not sure if this goes for all their rooms but I found the set-up awkward especially when you're not the only one using the room. HAHA.
As I have said, it was comfortable and affordable enough. The staff were also courteous so okay lang. I let the bathroom pass.

I was so busy before our Davao trip that I couldn't even find time to deposit the down payment. Good thing they allowed me to just do the bank fund transfer from BPI and I just e-mailed them the screenshot of the transaction after. Very convenient.
Family room has a bath tub. It also comes with a hot and cold shower even if it didn't look like it.
Here are the attractions you can find near Hotel Uno: Link.
