I went to Landmark weeks ago to buy a new Godiva lip balm but the saleslady told me that Godiva has discontinued producing the peppermint variant. That's the only lip balm I used for years! How can they... errr! She told me to just settle with grapes flavor but no, I can't.
We were at SM Annex this afternoon and passed by Giga stall. My mom bought a bottle of massage oil and as I saw that they're also selling lip balms, I decided to buy one 'cause I'm currently searching for a new balm.
Godiva contains licomax. They claim that it lightens or make the lips redder. It contains beeswax, vitamin C and SPF 15. I love peppermint 'cause it has a minty feeling when applied.
Giga, on the other hand, contains VCO, Shea Butter, Vitamin E and Honey with an orange scent when applied.
Both are natural, in pot containers, and are not-tinted. I don't like tinted lip balms / glosses 'cause they make my lips fuller and to tell you, my lips are already thick.
They both get the work done, moisturizing, aren't greasy and glossy so there's no, kumain ka ba ng lechon look but then, I still prefer Godiva Peppermint. Although I'd have to spend more for licomax, peppermint and SPF 15 benefits, it's okay. I hope that Ate meant that the peppermint variant was only out of stock that day. I just remembered, my friend has once told me that there's a similar but cheaper peppermint lip balm from Human Nature. I'll be visiting the stall at Trinoma one of these days.

I was at Circle C this afternoon to have a 2x2 ID picture taken.
I saw a newly-opened milk tea stall. As you all know, since milk teas are the latest hype, milk tea shops have been popping like mushrooms everywhere. I decided to try it and ordered a Pearl Milk Tea which costs me 50.00. It was okay, I mean there's nothing special (or maybe, my usual order PMT is really not that special 'cause it's the basic. Oh well, whatever) but being the only Milk Tea store in CC, I can see myself ordering another cup. It did satisfy my milk tea thirst for a cheaper price anyway; I'm gonna try their other flavors out in the future.
EDIT: Today, Feb. 10, I got to order their Hazelnut Milk Tea (P 65.00) and I liked it. I love hazelnuts. What more can I ask for? My current addiction, milk tea plus hazelnut flavor in one drink. I've now found a variant I liked, buying again soon.
EDIT: Today, July 21, I have re-ordered their Milk Tea With Pudding ( I forgot the price) and Oreo Milk Tea (I forgot the price too), and their milk teas taste better. I liked them more, and since I'm used with large size MT's, the concern I have with Mang Cha-A now is, it's bitin! I hope they offer a larger size.
Beside it is a Korean food stall, Kimpop. An order of 6 pieces Kimbap with a Kimchi sidedish costs 40.00. I've been looking up for bibimbap and kimbap recipes online but as I read the how-to's, I feel like I'll be spending forever cutting the vegies and all. Cooking is hard; cutting the ingredients is hell! It's tedious and my dear fingers are most of the times, in danger so I always try to stay away from knives. Just imagine my delight seeing that it's readily available in CC, I won't have to go all the way to SM North to satisfy my Korean food cravings.
I'm really happy that there's now varieties of food at CC or better yet at Congressional Avenue.
We availed the Ultimate Experience with the Penguin Exhibit which costs P 900.00 per person. Attractions at the park are expensive; it'll cost you more than a thousand per person to experience everything so try going there when there are promos available.
The Oceanarium, Marine Life Show and Habitat, Fish Spa, Jellies, Musical Fountain Show and Penguin Exhibit were on our itineraries for today.

This Oceanarium area is divided into seven sections; Agos, the rainforest themed part with tanks for freshwater fishes; Bahura, the smaller fishes with colorful corals; Laot, features big fishes in a long tank; Kalaliman, shows species from the deepest part of the Philippine waters, Overhang tank, for the various species of rays; Pating tank for sharks, this tank is also the place for the shark attack (another attraction at M.O.P) and the main attraction; Buhay na Karagatan, the underwater walkway tunnel. |

| Hello there, Humboldt penguin! It was hard to take pictures of the penguin as a group 'cause they swim fast and the glass isn't that clear but this one always floats near the glass and seems like it's always ready for a picture. We have a vain penguin here. |

| We passed through the Snow Village which is the last attraction and saw this at the exit. Entering the snow village is done by group, each person is then lent a jacket before entering the freezer with a temperature of -15 degrees Celsius. Although it was far, we also got the chance to see the 7PM fireworks display at MOA from where we were seated.
This Fountain Show is epic! It's a combination of music, fountain, light, fire, fireworks show with live performers. Also, there was a part where cartoon characters were being projected on water screen, just wow. I never expected it to be that good. Never miss this show when you're in the area.
