Meiji Factory tour is one of the items on my bucket list. Someday, Meiji!! If they have a plant tour, I want to go and explore there even once in this lifetime, twice in another lifetime and on the third, I'd like to own my own chocolate factory. HAHAHAHA. Joke!! I don't even know if Meiji still hold a factory tour but if they do; Fairygod mother, push natin 'to please.

If chocolate and food is considered a subcategory of tourism... Life, let me experience the chocolate and food tourism of Japan.

Monaka is a Japanese sweet wherein a filling is sandwiched between two thin wafers.  Based on the name, this Matcha chocolate is inside a wafer.  I really find it weird and funny every time I explain obvious things.

Let's go to the filling: this Matcha is the most potent Matcha I've ever tasted. A lot of people would definitely find it too bitter but for me, it's just the way I like it. I love the bitter aftertaste which slowly fades away.

The first time I tried eating there was in 2012 (that's the year when I started going to BGC anyway. Haha. Munshongerks po.) and I didn't like the food at all which explains the lack of blog post. I don't even remember what was the exact dish I had but it was chicken and my friends had sisig, batchoy etc. and we all agreed on one thing as we left the restaurant, "No second time here."

Then recently a friend was like, "I know a restaurant in the area that offers unlimited rice." Grabe, gutom siya. Hindi niya sinabi 'yun dahil malakas ako mag-rice!! HAHAHAHA.

As I saw Floring's facade my first reaction was, "Tara, Jollibee or KFC or Mcdo na lang."

You know, that feeling when you know you're about to waste your money again.

But the friend insisted so I gave in and gave Floring's a second chance.

Garlic Kangkong
P 80.00 (?)

It was my friend who told me to try this out and so I did.

Bacon-Liempo Kawali

In all fairness, I loved their version of lechon kawali.
The skin was crispy and they managed to retain the tenderness of the meat. I also liked that the layer of fat was thin (ANORAW!?) And, the sauce also went well with the meat.

Have they improved or we just ordered the right dishes this time, I don't know. All I know is that if you order both of these dishes, you'll enjoy dining there too.

Floring's is more expensive than fast food but it's definitely cheaper than other food establishments in the area and given that they serve unlimited rice adds to reasons why it's worth trying (Or re-trying) out.

After a two months I found myself seated at Zark's Burgers again. Not that I hate it, of course.

What happened, we were looking for a resto na 4M.
Mura, masarap, malapit at makakabusog.

"San tayo?"
"Dyan na lang sa malapit. Rodic's sa Congre."
"Sa medyo malayo ng konti."
"Sige, Rodic's sa Philcoa."

Nung nasa Philcoa na at nasa harap na ng Rodic's;
"Tara?"
"Hanap pa tayo sa Maginahawa."

Hanggang sa nalibot na halos buong Teacher's Village

"Katips?"
"Sige."
"Last na. Sa Zark's na lang. Bawal magreklamo."

Haha

Walang nagre-reklamo.
 OMG.

Shaq Burger
Cheeseburger with Onion Rings
P 155.00 with drinks

Pang Junior League lang talaga ko.

This is my 5th time eating at Zark's, and have always been satisfied with every visit. One of the very few burger joints that serve delicious yet satisfying (very satisfying) burgers at an affordable price.

2/12

It's so crazy that today's already the 5th day of February!

Last year's highlight was our Ilocos Trip link: here.
Eventhough I said that I had no idea where Feb. 2013 would take me, I was already preparing for my Ilocos trip then. I have no plans once again and this time, seryoso na. Of course, I have those days of must-do's; I'm talking about gala etc. here.
Feb, magiging masaya ba ko? Matatakot ba ko? Iiyak ba ko? Tatawa ba ko? Sige, hindi na ko magtatanong. Ako na lang ang mamimili.
I choose to be grateful.
No matter what happens, I'll choose to be happy and grateful.

And sinabi ko pa pala before na, "It's heart's month again and I have never been this bitter. Hahaha. Joke. I have never been this BETTER." 'Yung totoo, bakit ako nakapag-joke nyan dati? Haha. Bangag lang.

I heard a Filipino song in the radio sometime last month. It has a catchy tune and is very nostalgic. I'm pretty sure I've heard this even before that day, hindi ko lang napansin agad.

May Christmas Version pala 'to? May summer version din ba? hehe
Had I known I'd like a Sam Concepcion song today, nagpa-picture sana ko sakanya nung nakita ko siya sa Enchanted Kingdom last month. HAHAHA. Magkatabi lang kami sa pila nun oh.

And!!!
Tsk.

P.S. This blog got a total of 389 views in February 2012; that's two months after signing up. And you know what? I'm proud to say that currently I can get that much (sometimes even more) views on a good day. Imagine what took me a month two years ago is only taking me a day now. Thank you. :> With or without followings, I'm still flattered that, at least, this gets hundreds of views a day.

HAHAHAHA.

Hope this month gives us courage to face all the challenges life throws on us. God Bless! :)
