Do you plan to go to Baguio during the APEC holidays? Haay. Buti pa kayo. Team bahay is love. Hahaha!
What I am posting here are the photos I took when we went there one afternoon last October. It was an unplanned trip so I wasn't able to look for tourists spots other those we've visited last year.
Also, this was after Typhoon Lando so the damages it did to Baguio (Nothern Luzon actually) were still evident.
We were only there for around five hours but still thankful that I was able to spend an afternoon there. Cordillera Administrative Region has a special place in my heart that I always look forward to going back no matter how long the travel time takes. Someday, Buscalan and Sagada!
ANYHOW...
ANYHOW...
Passed through the picturesque Kennon Road and we arrived at Baguio. Grabe, Kennon Road! |
Viewing Deck of the Good Shepherd Convent |
Houses and Mountain Ranges. |
That's me wearing NYX's Copenhagen Matte Cream Lipstick |
It's a good thing Good Shepherd accept card payments. Di ako prepared but I was able to buy bottles of ube jam. Hehe. |
This is Mines View Park now. The entrance of the park looks much better compared to its state last year. MINES VIEW PARK, GOOD SHEPHERD 2014 link: here. |
These are all for sale. |
From the viewing deck of Mines View |
Souvenir Shop |
New gate. |
I felt sad upon seeing this. This wasn't the only tree that got uprooted during the typhoon. I can't even imagine how long it took for this tree to grow then nawala na lang ng ganun. |
Missing the foggy view of Burnham Park Di kasi masyadong malamig and foggy when we there unlike the first when it was almost zero visibility everywhere. |
Burnham Lake |
More broken branches and uprooted trees. |
Baguio Cathedral was repainted. This is my first time entering the church. Hehe. THANK YOU POOOOO! |
One of my favorite spots in Baguio. First visit link: here. |
Yes pls. hehehehe. Money daw oh. |
This is what the Baguio Cathedral looks now. Pink paint 'to before. |
Last stop was the Wet Market to buy fresh vegetables. |
Tingin pa lnag fresh na fresh na eh. Sarap ng dalandan at strawberry swear. Hindi 'yung dalandan na nabibili rito sa'tin. Tas found out na meron palang orange farm something sa Mountain Province. Hehe. Soon. |
And it won't be complete without strolling along Session Road. Hahaha. Okay na okay na sa'kin ang HI. Artista levelz lang. hahaha. :))) Charot! Enjoy your trip! Sabihan mo naman ako kung ano pang pwedeng mapuntahan dun o. :) Overnight trip? Look for Baguio Hotels HERE. |
