Lava Pao (Salted Egg Yolk Custard Buns), Eng Bee Tin
One of my latest food finds in Binondo is this; Lava Pao. Huhu. Eng Bee Tin sells this by piece but the filling of the one that I had there was already dry. I went inside the store and saw that they sell frozen ones so I got one.
I forgot how much is one plastic since this is in my backlog for months now.
Steamed the buns as per instructions in the package.
The custard is the perfect balance of salty and sweet taste. I'm not a fan of the meat siopaos though I eat them sometimes (bola-bola>asado) but this one, I can eat everyday. haha.

Aside from lava pao, I also love Eng Bee Tin's Ube Siopao and of course, their matcha tikoy!
