P 145.00 for a regular order of Gyudon, iced tea and coffee jelly |
As much as I wanted to take decent pictures all the time, I can't do that unless I upgrade my current Android phone with a unit with better camera or a Samsung Galaxy S3 which I think I'd love to own someday, it seems like a great phone!
*insert '@SMARTcares, I want #SMARTGalaxyS3!' here.* Haha!
Most of the time I have my digital camera with me but at times I don't or it's a hassle bringing it out, I opt to take pictures using my phone. Well, gotta admit, they're not that bad.
Anyway, here goes Mexican fast food.
Tacos, Cheese Quesadilla, Churros and two 16 oz drinks cost P 249.00
Cheezy Potatoes (?) costs around P 49.00
Grande Soft Taco costs around P 69.00
I think I had the drinks upsized, everything costs around P 380.00
I just eat whatever I had ordered but I don't miss out on Churros.
It's my first time dining at El Pollo Loco, I didn't know which to get so settled with the chicken. My sister and I shared Combo 1 or two pieces chicken, tortilla and two side dishes (Spanish Rice and French Fries were our choice). I just ordered plain rice for her, and two glasses of large iced teas. Everything cost around 300.00, not bad, this would be 80.00 cheaper if you'd opt for service water.
I don't know how to eat this, but I placed strips of chicken, salsa and spanish rice inside the tortilla. Tastes good. |
So we couldn't stop ourselves from stopping by Happy Lemon. She ordered Milk Tea with Cookies and Cream, while I had Pearl Milk tea, which is a change since I only order Green Tea with Rock Salt and Cheese there.
For everything, we spent less than P 500.00
I never anticipated eating this KFC Cheezy Bacon Pasta Bowl (is this the correct name?). I mean, I've been seeing its commercial for several days but it didn't appeal to me. 'Cause hello, KFC is synonymous to a thigh part one-piece meal with unlimited gravy. But then, there are times like today that thigh part isn't available and the waiting time is 20 minutes, so I have to settle with this. Anyhow, this pasta bowl is satisfactory and good thing the noodles were cooked Al Dente, that's a plus points for me. I think though that it's kind of expensive, P 95.00 for a bowl which wasn't that big and a drink. Taste? what can go wrong with KFC original flavor chicken strips, cheese and bacon? Close to nothing. Just don't forget to chug water after eating and this has been it.
I may order it again or not, depending on the availability of my thigh part.
Happy Valentine's Day!
Ristorante Bigoli is one of the restaurants we eat at whenever we like Italian cuisine. They offer delicious food at affordable prices; no wonder the place is most of the times packed whenever we pass by. (Trinoma, near Cinema 7)
We ordered their Doppio Deligioso set meal for two which would also be enough for four persons to munch on. It includes 2 pcs. Italian Chicken, Salad, Spaghetti Bolognese, Minestrone Soup, 2 slices of Pizza and green salad (335.00)
For dessert, try their gelato. There are a lot of flavors to choose from. (50.00)
Also,
Who said Feb. 14th is only for lovers? Happy Single Awareness Day! Hehe. Whoever it is that we celebrated today with, (friends, family or self) I hope everyone's happy!
My brother has always been telling me to try Mr.Kimbob's bibimbap at SM North food court. I haven't had the chance to eat there until December last year at SM Megamall and I enjoyed it so much although I don't like eating spicy foods. As we strolled around SM Makati yesterday, only one food for dinner came to mind: Bibimbap.
For those who are unfamiliar with Korean cuisine, bibimbap means "mixed rice." Following its name, the proper way to eat it is to mix all the meat, vegetables, rice and gochujang (chili sauce) together.
If you're up for a healthy and budget-friendly meal, bibimbap is one of the best choices. For 95 pesos, you get a big serving of food and nutrients.
This bibimbap is the store's bestseller, of course, they have other foods to offer just that I haven't tasted them yet.
You can find Mr.Kimbob at SM Malls' foodcourts.

Here is bulgogi (beef) with carrots, papaya, spinach, bean sprouts, cabbage and sunny side-up egg, served in a sizzling plate with a bowl of soup. |
After mixing everything together but haven't poured the gochujang yet. I ended up pouring everything on mine! I don't really like eating spicy foods but this has always been an exception. |

I was at Circle C this afternoon to have a 2x2 ID picture taken.
I saw a newly-opened milk tea stall. As you all know, since milk teas are the latest hype, milk tea shops have been popping like mushrooms everywhere. I decided to try it and ordered a Pearl Milk Tea which costs me 50.00. It was okay, I mean there's nothing special (or maybe, my usual order PMT is really not that special 'cause it's the basic. Oh well, whatever) but being the only Milk Tea store in CC, I can see myself ordering another cup. It did satisfy my milk tea thirst for a cheaper price anyway; I'm gonna try their other flavors out in the future.
EDIT: Today, Feb. 10, I got to order their Hazelnut Milk Tea (P 65.00) and I liked it. I love hazelnuts. What more can I ask for? My current addiction, milk tea plus hazelnut flavor in one drink. I've now found a variant I liked, buying again soon.
EDIT: Today, July 21, I have re-ordered their Milk Tea With Pudding ( I forgot the price) and Oreo Milk Tea (I forgot the price too), and their milk teas taste better. I liked them more, and since I'm used with large size MT's, the concern I have with Mang Cha-A now is, it's bitin! I hope they offer a larger size.
Beside it is a Korean food stall, Kimpop. An order of 6 pieces Kimbap with a Kimchi sidedish costs 40.00. I've been looking up for bibimbap and kimbap recipes online but as I read the how-to's, I feel like I'll be spending forever cutting the vegies and all. Cooking is hard; cutting the ingredients is hell! It's tedious and my dear fingers are most of the times, in danger so I always try to stay away from knives. Just imagine my delight seeing that it's readily available in CC, I won't have to go all the way to SM North to satisfy my Korean food cravings.
I'm really happy that there's now varieties of food at CC or better yet at Congressional Avenue.
