Decided to post this to update the daily mass schedule in Monasterio de Sta. Clara and because I am hoping for an exceptionally good weather for the next three days. Exceptional talaga. hahaha. Aside from the petitions from board exam takers, Monasterio de Sta. Clara is a well-known place where people offer eggs to pray for a good weather. Kaya ayan. Pls. Nice weather this weekend sana.

The link of my first post: here.

And below is just a photo essay. :))

This is actually a weird wishing fountain because you'd see a lot of coins on top of the fountain. As if their wishes have a bigger possibility of coming true if they throw and shoot the coins there.
The church gets so packed especially during Sunday masses so be sure to arrive on time. Seats are provided outside but it's more comfortable to sit inside.
Here is their current mass schedule.

Pencils and papers are provided.

Pls. Good weather pls. :))

People would usually light up a candle for a wish and a prayer here.

Anong cuisine natin ngayon? Japanese!!

I had an appointment (uma-appointment!) in Makati and met up with a friend after for super duper late lunch here in Saboten.

This was hours passed lunch time and too early for dinner kaya ganyan.

We were seated in this farthest corner so even if there were no other customers at that time, the waiters (waitresses) couldn't see us whenever we raised our hands to ask for refills. Medyo mababa ang rating nila for me sa service.  I mean, okay naman at first when they took our orders. They were accommodating but during the meal, they were MIA na. Refillable kasi so expected namin na it would be easy to catch their attention.
Just like Ginza Bairin (which I posted about exactly a year ago, link: here.), Saboten also has a 10% discount on total bill for JCB credit cardholders.
This was my order.
Mixed Set P 410.00

1 Deep Fried Shrimp, 1 Loin Cutlet, 1 Crab Cream Croquette

Mixed set again so that I'd be able to try different kinds of Katsu.

I liked my order except for the crab croquette. It was overly creamy for my preference that just a bite of it is nakakasuya. (Ano ba English niyan?) Haaay.  Hindi talaga ko marunong mag-describe ng pagkain ko. hahaha. Kelan kaya ako matututo? :)))

Wish they include fresh fruit slices in their set meals though.
This is me.
Wala lang. Just wanted to show you my face kasi mukha akong maputi sa picture na 'to. HAHAHAHA.

Saboten has got to me be the one I liked the least of all the Katsu restaurants I've tried.

SAYA FACTOR:
7.5/10

An additional .5 because I was so stuffed that I had no appetite to eat any after this meal. Wala ng dinner dinner.

When I was in EDSA Shangri-la, Nestle yogurt is one of the food options in their breakfast buffet but what they had there was the 0%  FAT variant. That was the first time again in several months (probably years) that I was able to eat yogurt (this kind of yogurt not frozen yogurt) but I found that variant so bland, I wasn't able to finish mine.

In order to compare, I immediately bought one when I got back. Hahaha. I want one so I have to get one now ganyan. Ohhhh.

I know a lot of people who don't like the sour taste of yogurts but I find them really delicious. Of all the available flavors, strawberry and mango are my favorites.
So what are yogurts?

Yogurts have live microorganisms that help in proper functioning of the digestive system which leads to better absorption of the vitamins and minerals from the foods that we eat.

Yogurt is an excellent source of calcium. Even if it is also a dairy product, yogurts have less lactose than milk because the live microorganisms pre-digest the lactose during fermentation making it suitable for lactose-intolerant persons.
I love that there are real fruit bits in the yogurts of Nestle so we're assured that they did not add artificial colors and flavorings in their product.

Ayan ah. Fruit Selection yogurt gives me the strawberries I never had in Baguio. hehehe.
