Nag-renew ako ng Laking National Card kaninang hapon sa Trinoma, ang bilis lang dahil andun na rin sakanila 'yung machine na gagawa ng bagong card.

Renewal fee:

P 100.00 but P 60.00 for students with I.D

Also,

I redeemed my points

And paid nothing for all these.

Sweet.

Almost P 500.00 ang laman nung card, with that amount I have spent almost or more than (there are times when I didn't bring my card with me) P 50,000.00 at National Bookstore for the past three years.

The card functions on rebate system that gives you P 10.00 for every P 1000.00.

I think Laking National Card has some other perks aside from this but those I don't know.

Alam mo pa ba kung ano pang pwedeng pag-gamitan ng Laking National Card? Tell me. :)

An old wives tail or an effective moisturizer?

There would be mixed responses when you try to search about that on the internet.

Here's my experience though.

Here's the feet that needed extra care tonight.

And they looked weird, had to pixelate them. haha.

Before going to bed, lather some petroleum jelly, massage feet and slip on socks.

I do this probably once to twice a month (when I remember to hahaha) but it's a practice that I've been doing for several years.

Yes, it somehow moisturizes the feet the next day but washing it off is a bother. It doesn't get off the skin right away. And I don't like sleeping in socks.

There is a cotton bud which I cut into two because this tub was for my eyelashes and lips.
*Hygienic Purposes*
Just buy two small tubs of this if you're planning to use some for your eyes and feet.

I used this as lib balm (high school) and eye lashes moisturizer (since two years ago)

I sometimes apply this on my lashes before I go to bed.
I don't like the sticky feeling and the smell of it but I felt that I had no choice since I curl my lashes. Falling off is the last thing I'd want to happen and according to some, not only do this strengthens it also lengthens. It may have strengthened and moisturized my lashes, but no, I can't attest that it lengthened.

But I found an alternative to this in Human Heart Nature's Sunflower Oil, April this year so I hadn't been using it for months. Sunflower oil does a better job in making my eyelashes healthy and it's all natural! Yay.

So there, if you're researching about the effects of this that's why you've stumbled on this post.
I suggest that you try it out yourself, vaseline or petroleum jelly isn't that expensive.

We renewed my younger sister's Shakey's Supercard tonight so we dined in.

"Ma'am, i-c-claim niyo na po ba 'yung points ng card niyo?"
"Oo, tas ire-renew na rin."

Pagbalik nung kuya,
"21.00 pa lang po laman eh pero ibabawas pa rin po."

HAHAHA.

This was recently introduced so it was our first time.
Spanish Chorizo, red onion strips, red pepper strips, cheese on a thin crust pizza.
It looks like pepperoni but it isn't, the slices were bigger.
This is good, a break from our usual Pepperoni and Manager's Choice order.

Lasagna
P 160.00
Another addition to their menu was this lasagna or they just recreated it?
I'm not aware.
But this one's also good, I love that they used mozzarella cheese.

And, mojos.

What more can I say about this?

So back to the Loyalty Card, despite it having just P 21.00 rebate for a year of using it, we still decided to have it renewed and paid P 300.00 for the renewal fee.

Why?

1. 10% discount for non-promo foods eaten in the resto
2. Rebate... that's a peso for every 100.00 (dine-in and take out)
3. a free large pizza on the cardholder's birthday

and the last but not the least

4. buy one take one pizza with free 1.5 L softdrinks and ice (delivery)

We seldom dine-in (just look at the rebate amount) but we frequent the delivery so renewing this card was a must.

Taking into consideration the discounts, free pizzas and softdrinks, I think paying P 300.00 for the card is really sulit.

for a regular order of Gyudon, iced tea and coffee jelly

I am actually wondering why it took me this long to try eating here at Yoshinoya.
Although I didn't like coffee jelly (well, I never liked it) I really liked the beef bowl!
This is one of the best I've eaten, and the price is not steep too.

I couldn't find any information on this so it has been in my cabinet for months and realized that I should just look up the benefits of Royal Jelly and

these are some of the infos I've gathered through various websites:

1. tightens the skin

2. stops the growth of bacteria that causes various skin infections

3. promotes the formation of collagen

4. reduces the effects of radiation on skin

The consistency is very thick like that of a honey (DUH!) Its consistency is probably the reason why it kind of felt sticky the first few seconds but the product was still absorbed, you just have to wait for a few moments.

I always prefer unscented products whenever it's for my face since I have a really sensitive skin but even if it felt like this was heavily scented, it didn't matter since there was no stinging feeling and I actually loved the smell!

I used this as night cream until I've used up the entire content, for a whole week if I'm not mistaken.
(I don't like it to be used as day cream, it's a bit sticky)

On the nights that I used this, I woke up looking a bit fresh and my face wasn't oily like usual. I guess one has to use this for a longer period of time to see more effects. I've emptied the entire content so I won't be using this anymore but if I were to buy myself a moisturizing cream, this would surely be one of my options 'cause the whole of it was okay, especially 'cause it didn't break me out.
