Also known as "The Biggest Little City in the World"

We passed by Reno after our Lake Tahoe trip and before San Francisco. We heard that it's similar to "our" Las Vegas Strip because casino hotels also abound the area so we decided to take a look. We messaged a friend who lives there so we had someone to walk us around.

Push ko 'to. hahaha!

There are a lot of wall murals in Reno just like the one at my back.
Unlike Las Vegas, it snows in Reno during the winter season and it's cold and windy there all year round. It's a more chill place compared to Vegas.

You can actually feel that you're in a province compared to Vegas which is usually more crowded... and wild. hahahaha
Ducks at the Truckee River, the only river outlet of Lake Tahoe which drains to Pyramid Lake in Grand Basin National Park.
Washoe County Courthouse
Intense!!

Wall climbing. <3 HAHAHA. Hindi ko keri ganyan kataas. :))
Downtown Reno's version of Las Vegas Strip. Unlike Vegas Strip though that until the end of my stay I wasn't able to go around all the hotels, we were able to go around the entire area in just one afternoon.
Better view of the clear Truckee River.
By the way, Reno is also called the River Walk District.

Downtown Reno is a quiet place and a very walkable. I can spend an entire afternoon walking and relaxing here, iba eh. It felt like Baguio to me - only a lot better.
pero hindi ka naman dumating... </3

A break from my USA 2016 posts, here's our budget in my most recent trip a.k.a Saan Makakapunta ang P 4,000 mo? Lol. It's more proper to call this "Pagkasyahin natin 4K sa Anguib at Callao"

Uunahin ko muna na goodbye John Lloyd at Bea na 'to for the meantime kasi napuntahan ko na lahat ng pinag-shootingan nila (na gusto ko) sa mga movies. :))

Petronas Towers, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Paco Cemetery
Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish
Bellini's Italian Restaurant
Pasig River Cruise
Alabang Town Center

That Thing Called Tadhana, Jadine (pero tapos na Lake Tahoe at San Francisco!), at Aldub naman, life!! YES UNIVERSE!!!

So tuloy na sa Nangaramoan at Callao...

There are definitely cheaper beach getaways near Manila but we really wanted to go to Anguib (for my friend) and Callao (for me) so we made it work. Haha!

It was raining hard that afternoon when we were about to meet up. When I was on my home around 3 PM, I texted my friend. "Lakas ba ulan dyan? Pabebe tayo ganon? Walang makakapigil?" My friend, "Oo!!!! Kita kits mamaya! Dala ko na gamit ko, may dadaanan lang tapos diretso na."

We agreed to meet each other at 5 PM in Philcoa and rode a bus to Five Star Bus Station in Cubao since we saw a bus trip that will leave at 7 PM. Guess what, mga bessy? Wala ng bus ticket! HAHAHAHA!!!

So we decided to walk and look at other bus stations in the area. We passed by the terminal of Florida and they were also fully-booked. We reached Victory Liner and they were fully-booked as well. Bus kahit saan na lang? :))) Hahaha! But we decided to walk back to Five Star 'cause that was the last option since they had another trip scheduled to leave at 11 PM. Then, while walking we passed by Jam Liner Terminal and parked there was an EMC bus with Tuguegarao sign in front.

We asked the information desk if there are seats available and they told us that we can directly ask the conductor of the bus... we did... and we got seats! Left Cubao at 7 PM. Hulog ng langit ang EMC haha!:)) Pero wag niyo gagawin 'to. Reserve your tickets ahead of time. :))

From Cubao to Tuguegarao, it took us more than 13 hours (expected was 12) since we got caught in traffic for more than an hour. Di ko na lang napansin kung saan banda 'cause I was half-asleep.

From Tuguegarao, we rode an FX to Santa Ana, we didn't know where we'd alight hahahaha and when we reached the sign of Santa Ana, my friend asked me, "San ba tayo bababa?" I answered. "Hindi ko alam pero malayo pa." HAHAHAHA! Overhearing this, the conductor, the driver and the passenger beside me (nasa front seat kasi ako, sa gitna) asked us,

Non-verbatim
Conductor:  "San ba kayo pupunta?"
Me: "Anguib po. Aabot ba kayo dun?"
Me: "Ay ganun? Kahit saan na lang na beach na pwedeng matulog?"
Passenger: "Sa Nangaramoan na lang kayo. Dun maraming cottage na mura lang din naman at malapit sa Anguib."
Driver: "O sige, ibababa ko na lang kayo sa may pizza tapos may tricycle dun na pwede niyong sakyan pa-Nangaramoan"
Me: "Sige po..."

After the tricycle ride, we reached Nangaramoan. :))) HAHAHAHA!!!!!! KKLK. Bahala na. :)))) Basta may dagat!!!

Wala kaming dalang kahit anong pagkain pati tubig. haha!

Anyway, pinatulan namin ung P 500.00
Last stop dito sa part na 'to, gilid ng Anguib. Edi achieve din! haha. May entrance fee pala kasi dun na P 100.00 per person kaya no thanks. Haha!

Callao naaaaa! :))) Sa wakas!!

NEVER COMING HOME!! HUHUHU

UMAYOS KA NGA, TIN!! Para achieve 'yan. Haha!

Hahahaahaha!

After checking out, off we go to our next destination - Reno, Nevada
But we decided to take our last look of Lake Tahoe at this outlook point. <3

I forgot the exact name of the place but this was after the cave rock tunnel.
I definitely miss USA but I have another journey ahead of me. The best is yet to come nga, diba?

Haaay, nalimutan ko lang, universe but I'm so backkkkkkkk. Kaya ko 'to. :)))
Hahaha!
Kissing Lake Tahoe goodbye!!! <3
Itsura pag nakakita ng fafa. HAHAHA!
I'm thinking if I should do swatches of my lipsticks hahahaha. Whatcha think? :))) Pakapalan na noh!!! HAHAHAHA. Sige, soon. <3
The road to Lake Tahoe kinda felt like New Zealand with the vast grassland and mountains. <3 Charot kala mo nakapunta na eh. :))

Our last place to visit for that day was D.L Bliss Statepark
We were supposed to trek Rubicon Trail but we ended up in Lester Beach 'cause it was almost sundown and we didn't want to risk it especially when they told us that there are bears in the park. haha
So we found this place and no one else was in there. It felt like renting this whole cove!
This was a bittersweet part of my USA trip. A part of me wanted to completely enjoy what was there in front of me, but a part of me couldn't help it but be sad that the whole thing was ending soon. So I sat there, looking at the view. Taking everything in. <3 I was in Lake Tahoe, I was in California, I was in the United States of America, I was thousand of miles away from the Philippines, I was at the other side of the world. Charu ang drama. haha!! I actually forgot about all the drama until I read everything I wrote in Instagram. HAHAHAHAH!
This was my view that afternoon and I saw one of the most interesting cloud formation I've seen my whole life - Lenticular Clouds! On the farthest right of this panoramic picture is a lenticular cloud formation and I was seeing it personally with my eyes! Huhuhuhu I've also seen mammatus clouds in Nevada!! hahaha. Shet. Saya
A closer look of the saucer-like clouds.
<3

Clouds like these are often see on mountain ranges and/or hovering on top of a mountain.

Crystal clear of Lake Tahoe but it was too cold to swim in it.
 A.K.A.vanity at Lester Beach :)))
Missing my shades!!!

Ganda ng buhok ko dun. Asar. Pag-uwi dito, bruha na naman.
Bye, Lester Beach!!
Forever in my memory. <3
Until now, I still wear seatbelts sa car. Not comfortable na without seatbelts. Haha!
Byeeeee. :(

On our drive back to the inn...
Bye, Lake Tahoe!!! I'll be back soon!!! <3
You are so beautiful.
