We currently have grapes on a grapevine here at home. Reminded me of the first time I saw one back in San Diego and I remember posting about that here. I searched and saw that I included it in my Coronado Beach post before so I thought that I'd post my Hotel del Coronado revisit here too.

Just one of the many places I never thought that I'll be able to see twice.

USA: Coronado Beach, San Diego, California

This is the dog beach.

A portion of the beach that is accessible to dogs who want to swim and play in the shore. I had a great time watching them even if they're not my dogs. Sana makaganyan din sila Denden someday. HAHAHA!

Historic beachfront hotel in San Diego.

The exterior of this hotel definitely reminded me of Primm Valley Hotel in Nevada because of the building structure and color. You know what and I realized it while looking at the photo above that it reminds me of some houses in San Francisco too.

There's a restaurant facing the sea. From there, you can see the wide ocean and on some areas the hotel pool.

We didn't check in but you're free to roam around the common areas of the hotel especially since this is an icon and a tourist spot in San Diego.

This was near the parking area so walked at the sand once again before bidding the place goodbye.

It's not like I'm always at the beach. Parang mas marami pa ngang times na nasa-beach ako ng naka-jacket these past years kasi malamig kesa nag-swimming pero nakakamiss din ah.

beaches not peaches

Sino 'to? 😂

Maliban sa kwintas at damit, di na ako 'yan. HAHAHA! It's not like I wore heavy make-up before. hahahha. Nakakapanibago lang talaga ulit kapag nakikita ko tapos lagi na kong maputla ulit ngayon.

Will I you thrice? Nth times perhaps?

I'll try to post the rest of my travels with flower fields, parks, and attractions that I haven't uploaded here yet 'cause I want to make another compilation with them just like the cable car rides compilation that I posted a while back. For the meantime, here's my second favorite area in Carlsbad. HAHAHA. My first is the Strawberry Picking field but this is not about that.

Cable Car Rides Compilation *hopefully not the end*

Spring 2019: Sakura and Flower Fields (Japan and USA)

This is an annual Spring attraction in Carlsbad, California and it has been that way since 40 years ago. The field is accessible from March 1st to whenever Mother's Day is so when this gets posted, there will only be two days left for this year's access. Hopefully, we'll all be in better life condition during next year's Spring.

This may serve a guide for a visit here some time in the future.

The Flower Fields Ticket Rates

We frequented buffets serving strawberries and we would always have fresh strawberries bought in Costco when I was in the States so I didn't feel the urge to buy anything here. It's a different scenario here in the Philippines though 'cause anything fresh strawberries is always a dilemma of whether I'm buying or not.

We passed by here when we were driving to San Diego from Los Angeles Airport. Back then, I didn't know that this is a part of our itinerary so I was really excited when I was told that we were going here.

There are information boards such as this throughout the flower field so even if you walk there without a guide, you'll still be able to learn a new thing or two or three? 😜

The largest field of flowers that I've been at to date. There's definitely a lot more to the Flower Fields aside from the rows and rows of Ranunculus. I was probably too excited seeing the flower fields that why I have no pictures of the other parts of the area but there are greenhouses with roses, poinsettias, etc.

I am not really familiar with the names of flowers aside from those that I've frequently seen before, of course. These are ranunculus flowers, it's so amazing how they look so different yet similar, if you can see what I mean.

This place is a vast hill of flowers with several activities and things to do that you can actually allot an entire day if you plan on seeing all the other attractions/exhibits inside. Also, there's a nearby outlet mall called Carlsbad Premium Outlets with several restaurants should you want to look for something to eat and shop afterwards.

Inlove with the visual and the scent of this place.

The flowers on this part of the field weren't in full bloom yet. Another thing worth mentioning is that it overlooks the Carlsbad Beach when you're on top of the hill.

Tractor Wagon Tours

For a fee, you get to ride the tractor either as a tractor tour of the whole area or as a shuttle that will drop you off on top of the flower hill.

Vibrant color of the ranunculus flower field is visible even when driving from the Interstate-5/ San Diego Freeway.

Bye, Flower Fields!
Until the day that I'll see you again in this lifetime. 😂💓

Taiwan: Zhongshe Guan guang Flower Market, Taichung

Since it's Spring in the Northern Hemisphere now, photos of flowers is everywhere in my Instagram's post recommendations. Probably the reason why I was compelled (by myself, kasi naman 😂) to post this before this year's Spring Season ends. HAHAHA! Sabi ko na eh and I should really be thankful for this that considering the frequency of my upload these days, I have enough backlogs that will last me several months even without new travels during this pandemic.

In Spring time, hope blooms even in the most loneliest forgotten meadow.

Praying and hoping that this nightmare ends in the nearest future.

Also in Carlsbad, CA:

Legoland Waterpark
Legoland Miniland USA
Oceanside
Strawberry Picking

It's that time of the year again for my USA 2016 "On This Day" on Facebook. While I was looking at the photos, I noticed how similar Vegas' New York, New York area to the real NYC is. This is the reason why I thought of posting this 'cause the chocolate worlds are two of the many places/shops you can find both in Vegas and NYC.

There aren't a lot of things to say about these places but I've posted several photos from each. These are specialty shops so they're mostly merchandises, chocolates, and New York souvenirs.

M&M's World, Las Vegas

There are several flavors of M&M's that you can only find in M&M's World. Sometimes there's a freetaste but you can always purchase the flavors you fancy.
You'll get a plastic bag and dispense M&M's from the tube. You are to pay by weight.

M&M's Statue of Liberty.

There were a lot of people that time so it is difficult to take photos in this place.

Those M&M's tubes are the main attraction of this place. I don't remember which branch has the bigger tube display though.

Several M&M's merchandises available.

Elvis M&M

Across M&M's World is Hershey's Chocolate World.

Hershey's Chocolate World, Las Vegas

Gusto ko 'yung may hawak na Reese Chocolate si King Kong. Good choice. Ahahhaa

I got several bags from this aisle. Have always wanted hugs kaya I need more, more, more. Hahahahaha.

There's also chocolate and candy tubes here in Hershey. Those big sized chocolates and candies are also interesting since it's not everywhere you can purchase those.

I didn't buy those big sizes though but I got several bags of kisses. Grabe 'to. I kinda forgot that we had a bag weight limit so I bought a lot of stuff in NYC. HAHAHA.

2016 I wrote, "Soon. New York. Soon" haha! I was able to go there in 2019 and it has been two years since our New York Trip but it feels like yesterday. Even if I am not able to go out and travel these days, I still have a lot of backlogs I've yet to post. Ako kasi eh. Dapat naga-upload na ko ng mas madalas eh. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Re-uploaded photos from the South of Las Vegas Strip for comparison.

Las Vegas Strip (South)

At the back are replicas of the many tourist spots that you can find in New York. Didn't appreciate the thought in designing this and it's only now that each part of the hotel made sense to me.

Elli's Island and Statue of Liberty - from the New York City Sightseeing Cruise
Roller Coaster - from Coney Island. I really thought that trip, trip lang nila lagyan ng Roller Coaster 'yan. Malay ko ba namang may roller coasters sa totoong NYC. HAHAHAHA!

If you notice, there's an Italian flag beside USA flag. The buildings really look a lot like the buildings in Little Italy, Lower Manhattan. I don't remember entering the New York, New York Hotel in Vegas so I don't know what's inside. Hay nako. Bakit nga ba hindi kami pumasok? HAHAHA!

This is one of my favorite chocolates but I didn't buy some of this size 'cause I knew that I'd eat this in one sitting. I got some of the regular sized ones from here but mostly from the dollar store and Walmart.

Nakalakad na pala ko dati sa Brooklyn Bridge. 😂

Shakeshack is akso found in this area. This burger chain restaurant started in New York, btw. Haven't posted that but we ate in one back in Long Island.

Singapore:

Universal Studios and Sentosa Island - there's a replica of NYC's Public Library here.

Resorts World Sentosa and Merlion Plaza - there's a smaller Hershey's Chocolate World here.

Everything, in time. 💖

I've been binge-watching Brooklyn99 in Netflix and there was a scene where they drove to Coney Island for hot dogs. Watching that was the reason why I'm posting this here. I've had this in my draft for several months so I wanna congratulate none other than Me, Myself, and I for finally forcing Me, Myself, and I to finish composing this post. 🤪

For our first day in New York, our number one itinerary was to try Nathan's Hot dog in Coney Island. GUSTO MO 'YON?

Here's the scene from the series.

The first time I heard this song was via Instagram music when I uploaded an Instagram story. Lakas maka-third world country nito eh, 'yung Instagram music is not available in our region. 😆

Our USA Trip was during Spring but it was still way tooooooo cold. If I had a down jacket with me back then, I would have worn it especially here in Coney Island because the beach made the air freezing.

Spring Trips: Sakura and Flower Fields (Japan and USA)

These are the tables for those dining in. I don't know where they hold the hot dog eating contest but that's an annual event hosted by Nathan's.

My other instagram account, xtintina.cooks, has finished its New Yorker hotdog phase several weeks ago. I discovered a domestically-manufactured hotdog that tastes almost exactly like Nathan's. The phase has resurfaced since I watched that scene, buti na lang lagi ng may supply non sa grocery malapit dito sa bahay. 🌭

Coney Island is one of the neighborhoods in NYC which nickname is "Playground of the World."

This is the boardwalk.

We didn't walk around far at this area. Allotted just enough time to feel the breeze of the Atlantic Ocean in NYC.

There's also a Nathan's store here. Would've been nice to do picnic in this area. Someday, universe?? lol

This is a public beach and I will definitely walk all the way to the shore if I was alone. Beach trip on a winter day is my thing. HAHAHA!

Gangneung, South Korea: Anmok Beach and Coffee Street

I posted this in my Instagram story before asking who this was, until now hindi ko pa rin alam. Any leads? Curious lang ako.

This place is kinda like California's Santa Monica Pier. Less people on my day of visit which makes sense since I visited Santa Monica when it was almost summer.

I wouldn't think that this photo is taken in NYC if this is shown to me.

The park wasn't operating when we went there so we just walked around it. Saya, noh? Daming intense.

After this, we drove back to Brooklyn and Manhattan.

USA: DUMBO Area (Brooklyn) and Little Italy (Lower Manhattan), New York City

If I had seen episodes of Brooklyn99 before going to New York, I would've bought an NYPD jacket for myself. HAHAHA. KAKAINIS! I bought an NYC jacket pero ang lakas kasi maka-fangirl ng may NYPD. HAAAAAY. Na-late ng two years ang pagiging fangirl ko. 😂😂😂
