I've found a must-try matcha dessert in SM North EDSA Main Building, mga bes!

One thing that I'm kinda regretting now is not paying attention to the name of the stall because I got so engrossed with one of their product which is this, matcha ice cream sandwiched in two small pancakes/ matcha panwich/ whatever it is they call this.

The pancake wasn't crumbly so it's not hard to eat even when stolling around the mall.

I think it's insanely difficult to guess what I did before taking this picture. #matcha #greentea #sandwich #pancake #panwich??? #nokcha ❤❤❤#dessert #icecream

After Pier 39, we decided to drive around the Bay Area to look for a place to eat. And? It was only 9 PM but we couldn't find any!
Why didn't you warn us, San Francisco that your establishments close early and that there's no Walmart in the vicinity? haha. I smiled for this picture, of course, but we were starving then.
We got so used to the 24 hours establishments in Vegas that we didn't even think about the establishments closing early here.
Our first drive down Lombard Street which was way more beautiful in the morning.

We were already running out of gas and we couldn't find any open place to eat. So we first looked for a gasoline station and the closest was the one near Fishermans's Wharf. While refueling, we decided to cross a street to have a picture with the Fisherman's Whar Sign and this cable car. hahaha!

We didn't know if this one's prohibited since the car is only parked there but we quickly took pictures anyway. :)) Pag pinagalitan, edi bawal.
After Fisherman's Wharf, we found a nearby Deli Store by Ghirardelli Square and there we were able to buy cans of soup and corned beef that we brought back to the lodge.

We only had a rice cooker with us so what we did was - cooked the rice first, reheated the corned beef and soup using the rice cooker. We also had some chicken left from our adobo and we reheated that too. hahahahaha! Grabe, the sacrifices noh. I can always eat good food here in the Philippines so kebs lang basta maka-lakwatsa. :))

Etude House Sugar Tint Balm in Tomato Ketchup used to be one of my go-to lip product for several months since I purchased it last year. The fall out was because I got even darker so I felt that the color didn't match me anymore. Not only that, I was re-introduced to red shade and was introduced to lipsticks with vivid colors that I haven't thought of grabbing this to bring with me anymore.

This is me not wearing any lipstick.

This shall be the the only picture I'll be using in this series of posts to show you the natural color of my lips under all the lipstick color I wear.

This is usually how pale they look like. Although there are days like today that they look healthy pink. Hindi lang ako nakapag-picture. NAKS LAKAS MAKA-HEALTHY HAHAHA
As you can see, the container label has sort of worn off. Makes sense 'cause I have this for a year now.
The product left in the tube. Konti na lang, oh. Di ko pa naubos.
What it looks like when swatched on my hand.

The reason why I liked this a lot because it's not drying and it's not sticky. Though it doesn't last a long time when applied especially if you eat and drink, you can easily reapply because it's not heavy to the lips.

This one is a great starter product for someone who wants to enter the world of lipsticks. The feel is much like that of a lip balm yet there's color so it looks like a lipstick. Once you get used to having your lips "painted" and it eventually feels bare not wearing any, that's when you know that you can never go back. Not warning you to stay away but welcoming you to our
colorful, addicting, costly pero sobrang nakakaganda't kabogera world! HAHAHA!

The color is buildable even if it is just a lip balm.

I don't swipe it on my lips though, I just dab it on. I like the color turn out more when I put only little amount of product on me.
I tried putting it on for the sake of this review but my upper lip is acting up and is currently irritated and peeling because of a lip butter that I used to other day. This picture was only take last April though. Keri lang.

Walking around Pier 39, we passed by these boats and we saw that they were offering a 30 minutes boat ride in San Francisco Bay for $15.

It wasn't in the budget but we decided to do it nonetheless. That was the last anyway soooo :))

Paid $15 and then boarded the boat.
The boat went around the San Francisco Bay.

It went a little bit close to the Alcatraz Island, Golden Gate Bridge, Oakland Bridge. Also, far enough from the port to see the beauty of San Francisco Bay Area.
Part of San Francisco Bay area skyline.
Sea lions and ducks
We went near the sea lions too.

Story why they and how they arrived in the area: here. They've been there years before I was born. haha. How cool is that?

Did you know that you can view the sea lions of Pier 39 real time? Click here.
This one is a floating island with a restaurant and a lighthouse.
The captain of our ship then asked a representative from each group of tourists to experience holding the steering wheel. haha. There I was, for the first time, representing the whole Philippines. CHAROT hahahaha
My brother owns a lot of pigeons so birds flying around isn't at all exciting anymore but I can't help but look up to see where these birds were heading.
They're flying in straight lines.
San Francisco Sunset!

I want to go back these one summer because I'd love to experience the fog in fog city. <3 The weather was so good to us when we were there that the sun was shining for two days without much clouds and fog. Hehe
I want to experience living in San Francisco!
Just like everything, the boat ride came to an end.. $15 was very worth it. Not only did we see several sights, the ship's captain was also very entertaining and informative.

Matchawifestival... Gosh, after a lot of anticipation over the weekend. I went home sawi and broke yesterday. :((( Chos! Nahinayang ako sa byahe, don't think I'll be able to go back on a weekend to attend the festival.

Okay, so the Matcha festival runs for the whole month of September. Keri. The usual articles I read mentioned that participating restaurants have prepared their own matcha-infused dish to serve for the festival and that there are matcha goodies sold. I don't know if it's me who overlooked that detail or hindi talaga siya masyado na mention na although everyday 'yung sa resto e every weekend lang ang stores. Anyway, before I left for the States a lot were raving for the then newly-opened restaurant called Ichiba. We just tried that out since sawi-sawian nga ko sa matcha goodies, subukan na lang 'yung gustong subukan months before pa tapos transfer to another restaurant to get dessert na lang 'cause all they had there was a soft-serve matcha. (Family mart memories, beshy oh!

10 minutes...
20 minutes...
30 minutes...

My family were trying to be patient kasi nga gusto ko talaga ng matcha so they waited with me.

40 minutes... "Ate, pa follow-up naman 'yung order please."

Yes, without telling the servers. Huhuhu. SAKIT SA PUSO PLEASE!! Salamat sa tubig. :(( hahahaha! Di ko na sila i-mention kung sino.

1. Kapag excited ka talaga e noh!

:(((( HAHAHAHA.

As in super sama talaga ng loob ko. Tsk

Kaya ayoko na bumalik muna sa casino. Kakaloka!!! Naputol na Vegas - Solaire winning streak Hahahaha!

Anyway, balikan na lang natin 'yung good memories when I did a Staycation in Marriott  Hotel, Newport Area. Although I have no idea when and how, I am looking forward for a Maxim's Hotel Staycation! Sobrang ganda ng pool nilaaaaa. Bali levels!!
