Walking distance from the Hotel del Coronado and Coronado beach is the Coronado Ferry Landing.

These are the animals that you can expect to see in the area.

The closest I got to San Diego Downtown.

This was where we ate our lunch before going to a park,

Well. actually I don't have a lot of things to say regarding this place. I just wanted to post the pictures.

Missing my shades. -_-

First time seeing grapes on a grape vine. haha! Well, well, well, the only vineyard I know that's in the Philippines is the one in La Union. Never been there and yet my aunt has a grapevine in their backyard so I just had to take a photo of it.

We passed through the Coronado bridge, this bridge links San Diego and Coronado, California. They wanted to show me the beach and Hotel del Coronado, one of the famous hotels in San Diego.

Hotel del Coronado

We only stayed here for several minutes. This hotel is an oceanfront beach hotel so the view is kinda nice.

Thanks to my ever-supportive photographer. Really wish I could go back there in the States soon.

A short walk along the shore. Hahaha! We were supposed to go here early but I overslept so... :))))

She is like the waves; always going and out of the lives of those she loves.

Hayy, it's so me. So so so so me.

There was a sand castle maker too. And why do I look thinner in this picture, ha, life?!

My first time attending a county fair. <3

We went here for the last concert of Kenny Roger's and of course, feel what it's like to attend a county fair.

Full of food booths, rides, galleries, and displays. You'd feel that you're really in the USA. Why? This was the scene I always see in American movies.

My uncle asked me to guess what this is, I immediately responded that I think this one's a lethal injection/ a punishment chair of some sort. HAHAHA. Only to find out that it's just a regular chair with a scorpion inspired design. Lumabas pagka-brutal ko dun ah. :))

"We are all mad here."

The county fair is Alice in Wonderland themed
.

I was looking at the cable car ride which they've probably noticed so they asked me if I wanted to try this out.

Look at my hand. I'll share a story about that soon but here was our tickets for a round trip cable car ride.

Yay! We saw the whole county fair while on the ride.

Me and my infamous back. :))

Turkeys are usually served during Thanksgiving that takes place every November. My neighbor once mentioned that to me so when I saw smoked turkey legs being sold there, I chose this as my snacks. HAHAHA. For experience but something I won't purchase again.

They told me to anticipate the food choices 'cause there will be weird ones but I wan't weirded out at all. Some are familiar, some are not but I didn't have the money to buy more food back there so... :) Busog naman na sa turkey legs. Haha

So pretty the petrified logs.

We saw some petrifies logs in Nevada's Valley of Fire but I didn't appreciate it back there. Who would've thought that the "Do Not Disturb Petrified Wood" when cut is this beautiful?

Found some Vegas in San Diego. Soon, I'll be able to visit Macau!

May the force be with me.

After watching the concert, we headed home.

Thank you. We're definitely all mad here.

Did you know that no one cleans after you whenever you dine in a fast food or food court in the States? Unlike in the Philippines where we just leave our mess in the tables for the staff to clean, the usual practice in the States is eat (with or without your food tray), then be the one to buss out and make sure the table is clean for the next customers to use. ClayGo.

Anyway, just felt like mentioning that because the main reason why I am posting this is to show you the mosy unique Mcdonald's branch that I have gone to ever. I am not sure where exactly is this one but this is in San Diego, California.

Their restroom looks like a five-star hotel restroom. If I show this to people telling them this was in a Mcdonald's branch, how many of them would believe me?

It is European-styled and very classy. The interior reminds me of the Caesar's Palace Hotel in Las Vegas.

There's even a fountain in the center of the dining area.

Mirrors and paintings in a gold frame are hung on walls.

Chandeliers for the light.

See, it felt like Europe hahaha.

What Mcdo? Are you telling me Europe's going to be next??? HAHAHA. :))

Well, the food that you are to find here are similar to the offerings of other Mcdonald's in the States. The interior just make this a lot more special. Have you been to other unique Mcdonald's branch? If yes, where and what makes it unique? :)

And the strawberry picking that I never had the chance to do in Baguio, I was able to do in Carlsbad, California. I first saw the strawberry field when we went to Legoland.

Back then, we didn't have the time to do this activity 'cause we still had to drive back to Las Vegas and were were already returning late. I don't recall what part of my stay did they got to know that I love strawberries but I'm thankful that they did. haha! When it was mentioned by my Uncle that we could stop by the field that morning before heading to Del Mar County fair in the afternoon, I was like, "OMG Let's go po!" Hahaha. I only asked for two items in the itinerary they've prepared for my visit; this strawberry picking and a dinner at a Korean restaurant. HAHAHA! Yan tayo eh. Basta pagkain. :))

I remember when were walking under the intense heat of the sun at Bad Water Basin, Death Valley National Park, a Chinese tourist talked to me and showed me how covered she was. She was wearing shades, big hat and long sleeves, and all I had with me back there was my shades thus she might have felt the need to catch the attention of the underdressed tourist.

When I sent a picture of this to my friend, he was like, "Chinese tourist ka na ba dyan?" Hahaha!

Staying in San Diego felt a lot different from staying in Las Vegas. Vegas (especially the strip) felt so commercialized and busy, San Diego felt so laid back. Another factor was that, we didn't go to the busy areas. Even their downtown, I only saw across the river.

Yes, madam?

The picking costs $10 per person but you can eat as much strawberry as you wish while in the field. hahaha! I didn't even know if it was a strawberry picking or strawberry eating contest that I was doing. You can't blame me though, I love fresh strawberries. :))

I only got this much strawberries but I don't know how many pieces I ate in between the picking. hehe! Soon, orange picking in Sagada please, life!! hehehe
