When I wrote the blogpost about The Yard, Streetfood Cinema, I wrote there that I wish I can sit and thoroughly enjoy the food served by House of Griddle.

I'm not a fan of Game of Thrones. I haven't seen any episodes of it at all. haha. But for fans and viewers, seeing the food stall and food options can get a little exciting. Kinda choose your team? Is it?

House Lannister Special - Shrimp Gambas | House Stark Special - Herbed Pork | House Baratheon Special - Beef Bulgogi | House Tyrell Special - Bunless Burger Patty

Although I don't know the different teams (houses) that they have in the show, I'm still excited seeing their names (the regular names. lol) and how they're reasonably priced.

This was what I liked when I first got to try House of Griddle but I'm a shrimp bias so...

Seriously, though.

P 169.00 for a rice meal with this much shrimp? Hmmmm... why not? Loved the shrimp and rice paired with the vinegar.

For only P 149.00, this herbed pork was also very good. It's perfectly cooked - tender and flavorful with gravy that hits home.

A fan or not, House of Griddle surely has something that will satisfy your hunger yet not damage your budget.

 I love you. :3

2018 version isn't heartbreaking unlike 2016.

Visa denial last 2016 was a blessing in disguise. My South Korea trip coincided with the birthday of my father, turned out that was the last birthday that he celebrated with us since we lost him January 2017. Fast forward to this moment, I don't even remember the feeling of heartbreak that I had when I was writing this (link) post. Hehehe. Ang galing.

"If it's meant to be, it will be."

Thank you, universe.

Thank you for assuring me, once again, that everything happens for a reason. Masakit siguro initally pero as time pass by, we'll realize why things have to happen the way they did.

Fast forward to this moment, it's not even a single entry but a multiple entry that was granted to me!!!! JUSKO. <3 Halos hindi ako makahinga habang hinihintay ko 'yung passport ko na ma-release. I can't even explain how I felt the moment the consul handed me my passport and said, "multiple entry."

This re-taught me the value of trying. Was I too heartbroken and not accepted the fact that it wasn't for me during my first try, I would've hated the first decision so much and not re-apply for a visa my whole life. Thankfully, I did the mature thing. I accepted the decision, felt the pain, waited for another chance, and tried again.

Same thing for other trials and failures in our lives, noh? What matters most pala talaga is that WE TRY. Regardless of the result, there's always something to learn from everything.

Here comes another challenge though, funding. lolz. Pero ibang usapanan na 'yon, all I know is I'm grateful for every no that brought me to this yes. Mas kaabang-abang. Mas treasured. Sana lang makita ko sa Park Seo Joon habang nandun ako. :)))

Thank you for the lesson.
Thank you for the redirection.

Magkikita pa rin naman kami, oh. <3
Saktong Winter Olympics pa. ehehehe.

See you, Korea Feb. 2018!!
Salamat sa pagbibigay sa'kin ng chance na 'to. My heart is happy. Sobra.

The 1st of my nth trips to South Korea is happening soon. hihihihihi.

God bless us all.

Gusto mo 'yung August 2017 na e nagpo-post pa ko ng akyat na ginawa ko nung November 2016? hahaha. I don't even remember when did we hiked Tarak Ridge in Mariveles, Bataan but was around November last year.

Mas gusto mo 'yung February 2018 na, nasa draft pa rin 'to at ngayon ko lang tinatapos??? HAHAHAHA.

Starting the looooooooooooong day with a very beautiful sunrise. Kunyari may tulog kaming maayos para mag daaaaaaay hike.

So in the end, I'm just showing you these pictures I took during our day hike at Tarak Ridge last November 2016. HAHAHAHAHAHA. Second anniversary na pala nito eh.

This entire hike took me more than 12 hours to accomplish but was so worth it. Well, mas payat ako nung 2016 kasi puro physical activities ginagawa ko. hehehe

Aside from the Papaya River stop over, wala talaga kaming pahinga. The only rest we had was when we were trekking the summit and looking at the beautiful and untouched mossy forest neal El Saco Peak.

One thing that sets Tarak Ridge apart from the other mountain I've climbed is that aside from it's several assault areas, are the areas where you have to use both your arms and feet to ascend and descend.

Despite of all the hardship, the view on top was definitely worth it.

I kind of miss climbing mountain for the different kind of high and feeling of accomplishment it gives, I don't, however, have the budget for it at the moment... not to mention that I don't think my body's still that strong to endure a whole day hike. Tagal ko ng walang akyat. Magi-isang taon na rin.

Hi, xtintina ver. 2016. lolz

Four years later, they're possible after all.

I wrote fifteen items in that wishlist and eventhough I don't remember what was ..., I've already accomplished 9 items so far - the other four, I need more money because they're expensive. :)) Now, I'd have to write new items on my list but the new list, I'm not posting anymore. Pero 'yun nga, I'm forever grateful for all these things.

BACK TO BB. :)))
Nagkita kami last year!! OMG

.

I'm just so happy. My fangirl heart is ecstatic! :)))

Park Seo Joon naman, please!!!! SOBRANG LALA TALAGA NG TAMA KO. HAHAHAHAHAHA

It has been years since those times when we would frequent Poblacion in Makati. I actually forgot the vibe that place has until recently when we went here in Cu Chi Bar. If you're gonna disregard the horrendous traffic on some nights, it's a good place to go to.

If you want to feel how it's like to be in Vietnam, I strongly suggest that you go here at Cu Chi. It legitly feels like one of those bars you'll find in De Tham Street in Ho Chi Minh City. I haven't blogged about my Vietnam trip last year so watch out for that. :))

We were served several cocktails. Though interesting and delicious, I looked forward to eating the foods. I'm missing Vietnamese cuisine a looooooot.

Skewers above are flavorful and tender.

My favorite!!!

Fresh spring rolls.

The serving is generous, I didn't even know how I'd fit one in my mouth. lolz. :))) It tastes fresh and the sauce was a perfect pair.

The beef of their pho is so tender. The broth is perfect and not too heavy. The serving is generous that we had to share one bowl.

Loving all the wall art in Cu Chi. :))

I fell inlove with Vietnam that seeing this sticker makes me want to book another flight... in 2019. Hahaha.

They serve a wide variety of drinks and they're all reasonably priced so what are you waiting for?
They host programs on some nights so make sure to check their Facebook page for more updates.
