Entrance Fee: P 100.00

I don't know how to get to this place via public transportation.

Book your Car Charter here.

While there are a lot of different tourist spots and restaurants in Busay, we only went to three that day. Here is the link to the other places we visited: Attractions in Busay

During weekend nights (or probably even on weeknights), there are several food stalls in this place. This is a good place to view the city lights of Metro Cebu at night so this is perfect should you want to just sit there and take in the view. I heard there are outdoor concerts held in this place as well.

Lots of things have changed since my last visit in 2017.

So this is the end of our Busay tour.

We wanted to see Magellan's Cross but we feared being stuck in traffic and missing our flight so we skipped on that and headed straight to the airport.

Throwback to 2017 for pictures from Temple of Leah.

I don't know where exactly in Busay were these photos taken but we didn't have to pay an entrance fee nor did we see the tables before.

A lot of things have probably changed for this place as well.

This was also suggested by our driver but we didn't have enough time to visit so I'm posting photos from years back that I haven't blogged about yet.

I think that if your goal is to only see Metro Cebu from an elevated place then Temple of Leah is a better option than Tops Lookout. You pay entrance fee for both anyway then pay for a place where you can see more.

Manifesting our next Japan trip in Sachiko's Little Kyoto. HAHAHA!

AUGUST 2023 EDIT:

TOKYO, JAPAN TRIP CAME INTO FRUITION. 🤩

So basically, this is a Japan-themed food park. There are food booths once you ascend the Tori gate stairs. We just didn't have enough time to try their food.

Entrance Fee: 100 PHP

Book your adventure with KKday: Cebu Mountain Tour: Sirao Flower Garden, Tops Lookout & Temple of Leah with Hotel Transfer

We enjoyed roaming around Sachiko's. It really has a Japan vibe. Crazy how we're trying to find traces of Japan here in the Philippines since our cancelled trip in March 2020. Nyahahaha. Sheket yarn. 😭😭😂😂

ANONA, Tokyo.
Hinihintay pa rin ako ni Hachiko. :))

Upper left of the photo above are tables and chairs where you can sit at once you've ordered food from the booth.

Before reaching the Geisha Paintings, you'll pass by the food booths. I didn't pay attention to the food offers since it was awkward to look when we obviously had no intention to buy. hahaha

There are signages with explanation in each area of this park so you sort of learn about the culture and history of Japan... of course, if you take time reading those... which I didn't. Sarreh na.

If you've been here before, I like visiting different Buddhist Temples. I realized that I haven't posted a lot from my previous travels and I'm kinda thinking of posting some in the next few days while knowing that a lot has probably changed since me visiting those places. HAHAHA. Nasaan kasi napunta 'yung oras ng 2020 - 2022? Hindi talaga ko nag-update. Haaay.

It's kinda like the Rizal of Cebu.

Can't skip taking photos with this since it's believed that this brings luck.

This is one of the two places that we intended to visit during our Three-Hour Cebu Tour. 'Yung totoo, parang na-traffic lang sa EDSA. 😂

These are just some photos of the place.

There aren't a lot of information needed before going. Probably just the basic reminder like wear comfortable clothes and footwear since there are a lot of steps in going around the entire place.

Entrance Fee: P 70.00/person

This was our first flyout since 2020 and we were kinda feeling lost at first because it felt awkward taking photos and posing for lotsa photos again. It got better though the during the next days of our tour or so I'd like to think that it did.

I love visiting flower gardens such as this. I still haven't been to that one in Benguet but this one's beautiful too. Just that we were here at around 10 AM so it was hot.

Going up and down the slopes and photo spots may become exhausting and difficult for some people, just need to take your time and not rush the whole experience.

Loving the mountain range background in this photo.

Showing my CGM hair.
It wasn't the best hair day but not too bad, right?

We didn't have enough time and we only stayed for less than an hour. Allot more time to be able to take better photos these. haha! There are long queues in some photo spots.

It has become a very beautiful place with all the landscaping and flowers everywhere. I was having second thoughts at first since I've been here before but I'm glad I went back.

Back in the Queen City of the South - CEBU

Boracay was our destination but while booking flights, we saw an 8-hour opportunity and we grabbed it.

We saw that there was a flight with an 8-hour layover in Cebu en route to Caticlan and so we took that. However, a few days before our trip, the layover was shortened to 5 hours.

Basically, this is a three-hour day trip.

Disregarding the potential of a delayed flight and traffic congestion in Cebu - we took the risk and pushed through this crazy idea. We're glad we did.

Our reason for this layover was because we only wanted to accomplish three things:

1. See Sirao Garden
2. See Little Kyoto
3. Eat authentic Lechon Cebu

Book yours here: Private Twin City (Cebu and Mactan) Tour

This isn't a practical decision tbh 'cause of the additional cost and the cramped tour schedule so I won't recommend this especially for those who haven't toured around Cebu but since we did this, I will be sharing some photos.

We rented a car and had a driver with us for the entire 3-4 hours so I don't know how to get to these places using public transportation.

May our Tokyo heartbreak get a revenge so our hearts can heal someday. Our cancelled trip in 2020 would become three years ago in a few weeks but we still feel sad and regretful whenever Japan is mentioned. Hahaha! Ang hirap mag let go! 😂

Since hindi pa kaya ulit ng totoong Tokyo, dito muna.

Overlooking Metro Cebu! I would love to spend an afternoon/night here drinking beer and eating isaw. That seems fun!

Throwback:

Mukhang horror pala  'yung naka-blur na tao sa background. hahaha!

Our driver recommended that we visit this place as well since it's in the area but we didn't have enough time. Thinking of posting this too once I post the individual posts for the places above.

This for P 350.00 (?)

I don't remember paying this much when we dined in a Cebu Lechon restaurant before but yeah, we didn't have enough time to eat outside nor did we have another choice aside from paying the exorbitant airport price for a meal. We thought, "kesa umalis kami ng Cebu ng hindi nakatikim ng lechon." Buti na lang masarap 'to.

Photo from pungko-pungko.

This is also a must-try when in Cebu.

Blogging and taking photos to post on this blog feels weird now. It used to be natural before but I feel awkward now. HAHA! I didn't even took photos with the intentions of making a guide online but I decided that I keep this blog going (12th year this 2023 😳😳😳) and try to update frequently again, I'm paying for the domain after all.

I noticed that my previous post for Boljoon Church in Cebu have been in this blog's Top Searches for the past couple weeks so I'm posting these photos here too. I have no idea why a lot of people are searching about the church these days but it's all thanks to them did I realize that I haven't posted most of out-of-town trips here yet.

Cebu 2015: Boljoon Church

Purchase your travel essentials here

I don't know either why I didn't put details in my other post. HAHA! That time, we only passed by the church and probably stayed for even less than 30 minutes. Huhuhu. Hindi ko na maalala. Baka wala rin kasi akong nalaman at tinamad ako mag search. 😆

For this post, we spent a long time in the vicinity of Boljoon Church 'cause we waited for sunset at the baywalk/park in front of the church. Wala pa ring historical details pero mas maraming photos. Pwede na! 😅

This church was built in 1690's and currently the only church in Cebu that's listed as a National Cultural Treasure.

Book your adventure with KKday: Cebu Mountain Tour: Sirao Flower Garden, Tops Lookout & Temple of Leah with Hotel Transfer

Walking distance from the church is this Cuartel. This structure was never finished but is evidently well-preserved.

Ang hirap na magtanong ng, "Where to Next?"
😆😆😆

banyo, kwarto, kusina, sala ganern. HAHA

Jumpshot yern?

Huwag ako ang tanungin mo.
Hindi ko rin alam.
Nag lakad-lakad lang ako doon.

This area is along Bohol Strait.

Waited for the sunset in this place. One of the many things that are missed. 💖 Quiet afternoon by a body of water while feeling the breeze and listening to the waves.

Although, yeah, I've had the chance to walk for a short time along the Baywalk of Manila Bay last month. Pwede na rin. hehehe!

I'm seriously missing life "out there."

I miss travelling but I won't deny that I'm getting used to the life in social distancing/ quarantine although it can get too boring some days. But nakakaalis naman hehe not as frequent as before. Hello. Itong trip na 'to was magkasunod na month akong Bohol (January), Bohol-Cebu (February). Kakaloka. Di ko na nga rin alam paano ko nagagawa 'yon dati.

You know what I realized, my life was the uncomfortable "out there." AHAHAHA.

That's why I felt lost when COVID pandemic/ECQ started last year is because I was a stranger when I was forced to stay here. HAHAHA.

Again, this post doesn't have a lot of useful information either but at least, the photos are more updated than the first post, diba? 😆

By the way, it's nice to wait for the sunset in this area 'cause nearby are turo-turo/BBQ places where you can eat your dinner. I remember doing "streetfood" tour that night. Ang sarap ng longganisa Cebu, ng isaw, ng chicharong bulaklak, at ng isol. 🤤🤤🤤

PS. This was one of places shown in the movie, "Patay na si Hesus."

Dahil dyan, sabay-sabay tayong ma-LSS.

HAHAHA
Katawa
HAHAHA
Hasula

Gamcheon Cultural Village
Busan, South Korea

Whenever posts from way way way back ends up as one of the week's Top Searches in this blog, I can't help it but click on the link just so I'd remember 'cause more often that not, I don't recall most of what I wrote here especially those stuff I posted when my emotions were at their highs and/or lows. 😆

Looking at the photos travel photos was fun. It brought back memories of our easier and simpler days.

Grateful to have experienced all of those in this lifetime. hehehe!
