Legend of the Blue Sea Shooting Location

Anyway, if you're going here then look for the direction from Google Maps. It'll be better to ride a bus that would drop you off to the closest stop near Namsan's Cable Car lift.

COPY AND PASTE THE CODE  BELOW IN GOOGLE MAP.

The only place I am sure of where there's a bus you can ride that drops off passenger at this area is in the bus stop in front of SEOUL STATION.

If the lift is full of people then you can opt to use the staircase - both ways will get you to the gate of the house.

Legend of the Blue Sea Shooting Location

We've been trying to locate this location since two Seoul trips ago. :)) The crazy thing about it is last winter when we walked from Namsan Tower down to Myeongdong Street - we passed by this area already and we even took photos with two Lee Min Ho standees but failed to recognize the place. Probably 'cause it was night time then.

Namsan Tower  (down the Excursion Trail of Hanyangdoseong) link: here.

*this is located at the street on the right when you're facing the lower station of Namsan Tower's Cable Car.

Legend of the Blue Sea Shooting Location

This is a perfect sidetrip if you have Namsan Tower in your itinerary and you plan of riding the cable car.

Legend of the Blue Sea Shooting Location

I am not sure if we can go inside but this is a gallery btw.

Legend of the Blue Sea Shooting Location

HAHA!

Lee Min Ho Military Days link: here.

For this trip, we saw EXO's Suho (once), Super Junior's Kyuhyun (twice), Shindong, and Yesung. I am not really into Kpop but I like the experience and seeing them in person so I'm kinda living someone else's fangirl dreams. lol. PARK SEO JOON PA RIN, UNIVERSE!! :)))

Hae Joon Jae's House Location

 So there.

From here, you can either walk up the stairs or continue walking at the boardwalk for Namsan Tower's Cable Car.

I was back in Seoul this February for another winter trip.

Anyway, my friend and I decided to wait for Lee Min Ho as he starts and ends work for three days. -12 kami nung first morning! Kakaloka hahahaha!

Keribells.

Feb. 8: today I realized that this year is my 10th anniversary as @actorleeminho's fan. 😍 10 years na ba talaga 'yon?! 월요일 또 봐요 #leeminho #fangirling

I was reading my posts from 2012, 2013 and 2014 during those times when Lee Min Ho was actively promoting here in the Philippines because he was then the model of Bench Philippines. :))))))

LEE MIN HO at Araneta and Glorietta - Dear 2012 self, yes, naging next nga si Kim Jaejoong at napanood mo concert niya sa Araneta.

Jaejoong's concert link: here.

ALL SET FOR LEE MIN HO'S FANMEET - Dear 2013 self, good job naman sa pagbisita mo ng tatlong Bench store para maghanap ng Lower Box ticket para sa fanmeet niya!! HAHAHA!

LEE MIN HO'S CONCERT - Dear 2013 self, gusto ko na ulit mag blog kasi iba talaga 'yung may binabalikan HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA JUSKOLORD HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Pero totoo naman, Lee Min Ho was my first Korean crush and he's the reason for all these. And 2013 self, just so you know, you've been to Korea thrice already and you'll be returning for a lot of times more. :))

Here's to more dreams that would come true in the futuuuuuuuuuuure! (1 dream came true since, yes, you were desperate enough... 'yung number 2 naman!!))

Hahahahaha. I sound so desperate.

Lee Min Ho's Fanmeet in Araneta (Again) - Dear 2014, e kung ngayon ka sana sinisipag na instant blog... edi masaya kasi wala ka masyadong back log?! HAHAHA!

Fifteen days after posting my Oh Hey August post, I am posting this just because. Hehe.

Today is Aldub's fifth weeksary and I'm still hooked.

I have always been a solid Dabarkads though I don't get to watch them everyday but since Aldub happened, I look forward to the video uploaded in their Facebook page every night.

We all know that this phenomenon/fever/addiction, whatever we call this thing was an accident. I know that this is not in the plan but look at where it is now.

If there are three things that I want to (re)learn from this Kalyeserye they are: 1) I can't please everybody. 2) I will allow life to surprise me. 3) I will embrace changes and thrive.

It was just a simple kilig moment of Yaya Dub when she realized that Alden was watching her and suddenly, SURPRISE!!!! It was the birth of the well-loved split screen loveteam, Aldub. <3

The segment was for Problem Solving... but Eat Bulaga let go and embraced the change then it was the birth of the first ever Kalyeserye, Kiligpamore (Kung 'yan nga 'yung title o tuko ba? Haha!)

Edi wala tayong Kalyeserye ngayon. :))

Hahahaha. Kaya go. Pag may opportunity kahit wala sa plano e go lang. Malay natin. :)

Sabi nga ni Gina Greenlee, "Cultivate the art of maximizing serendipitous opportunities."
10, 11, 12, 13, 14 forever and ever? 😶 Kahapon pa ko nagfa-fangirl dahil sa iba't ibang dahilan.😍 See you soon, Popoy and Basha! 👍#onemorechance #movie #johnlloydcruz ❤

My fangirling side is alive, alert, awake, enthusiastic these past several days.

We Got Married's Lee Jonghyun and Gong Seungyeon (I feel sad that they're leaving the show though but I'm hoping that they're dating in real life!), Eat Bulaga's Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza and last but definitely not the least, ang pinakauna kong kinaadikan - John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo. Tuwang tuwa ako when I went home the other night and someone sent me the link of the trailer of One More Chance 2!!!!

I have yet to start my Palawan series posts. What's making it hard for me to begin is the process of selecting which pictures to include in the blog posts. El Nido and Puerto Princesa are so beautiful that it's difficult to decide which photos should I not include.

On another note, I read that a tourist died in Coron. It seemed like he stepped on a poisonous coral or something but I have yet to confirm what the real cause of his death was.

All the time naman, andun 'yung hazard ng mga ganyan when we travel. Yes, it could have been prevented if there was a proper first aid or a better hospital facility in Coron but still, it's unfortunate that it's still far from happening. Nakakalungkot lang. Sabi nila, "Coron isn't ready yet for tourists arrivals." Haaay.

I still would like to believe that there would come a time when...

  • we, especially those living in the remote places of our country, will have access to great healthcare services.
  • all inhabited islands will have their own hospitals and schools.
  • all roads (bridges, highways etc.) are well-paved.
  • we're no longer hassled by the severe traffic congestion. Not burdensome to the daily lives of Filipinos? Hindi po siguro kayo lumalabas ng bahay pag rush hour, hindi niyo pa po siguro nararanasan ma-stuck sa traffic ng more than four hours minsan pag dumadaan ng C5 o EDSA. Haaaaay. :(
  • we'll have better transportation system. Better MRT and LRT pls lang!
  • going anywhere feels safe from snatchers, opportunists, hold-uppers and the likes.
Pag susukuan natin 'to, lalo lang mawawalan ng pag-asa. Huhuhu.

'Yung concern ko last time, well, sinuko ko na. :) 'Yung Yes kasi na hinihintay ko, dumating na 'yon pero hindi ko pinansin but the good news is I am not brokenhearted about it anymore dahil sobrang bilis ko naman ata ever mag-move on. hahaha. Charot lang. Sabi kasi ulit ni Gina, "Relinquish the notion of lost opportunity and try on a new reality: Where I am is where I’m supposed to be.”  May reason 'yun pagshonga-shonga ko kaya enough na 'yung kaka- "Sana pala..." ko. hehe. It may have taken time for me to forgive myself (mga 1 week haha!) but I am letting go of my what ifs and I'm ending this chapter of my life already to give myself peace. Tama na kaka-desire sa isang bagay na hindi mo nahawakan. May better naman na darating!

Lakas ulit maka-lesson learned nito ah. Hahaha. Pag maulit 'yung ganitong eksena, jump and the net will appear! (Hindi literal) hihi. Bahala na. Keri. Next pls! :D

Life isn't perfect but we can always find something to be grateful for.

May we live a life open to surprises!
God bless. :)

Because I got depressed when I learned that Lee Min Ho's dating, I had to turn to food that brings me comfort. For that day, it was Singaporean cuisine again. It has been a month since I read the article so I have already forgotten intensity of my emotions that day but yeah, it was really a sad and shocking news.

I'm trying to be happy for him these days.. HAHAHAHA! Apektado talaga. Kailangan nagk-kwento. Kailangan nagpapaliwanag.

Haha. #weenamkee #singaporean #ricebowl

Wee Nam Kee never fails me. We ordered the most affordable rice meal (naka-promo pa nga ata 'to na 20% off noon. P 190.00 ang original price pero nasa P 145.00 lang ata nung kumain kami), the serving was enough, the food was definitely delicious, and the service was great. Yep, made me happy! Tumaas ng konti ang happiness meter as soon as we left the restaurant. Good choice ang Wee Nam Kee.

For Lee Min Ho, whom I liked for the last six years, I'm letting you go. Lahat naman ng sakit, pino-proseso lang. Oo, kaya kitang kalimutan. Matagal siguro pero kaya! Kakayanin kasi dapat kayanin! Haaaaay, lakas ko pa magpaturo kung paano i-type ng maayos 'yung "IKAW LANG SAPAT NA" tas malalaman kong may bae kang iba! Edi wow!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Muntanga pls. :)))) It was fun while it lasted. Fun talaga. Naglaro lang? De, syempre he deserves all the happiness he can get so fangirls should be supportive of all his decisions, diba? Huhuhu. Hindi pwedeng mag-hold on to something that's no longer doing you good. Saka, kahit 'yun talaga lagi kong unang tinitignan, ayoko na sa lalakeng may dimples!!!!!!!! WAHAHAHA.

Sorryyyyy, ang OA ko, noh? Pero okay na rin na after 1 month bago ko 'to na-post kasi mas OA ako nung March. May linyahan pa kong, "Ayoko na pangarapin pumunta ng South Korea! Nag-jowa na si LMH!!!!" Joke, life. Joke lang 'yon talaga. :))) Take me to Korea someday, universe!! I'll wait. <3

Imagining CLAIMING my Trip to South Korea. <3

This is a blog post enumerating my plans for my future trip because I'm desperate, decided and motivated like that. This is actually inspired by a friend who have recently uploaded a picture of his "dream board." And I, being the lazy and uncreative one, wanted to do something similar so the outcome is this; My "Dream Trip: South Korea Edition"

The items in this post shall total to 16. Why? Because my target year to visit South Korea is in 2016. It would be so much better if I can visit there next year (2015) but to make it sound more possible, I'll give myself more than a year to prepare financially.

I'll see you in 1 1/2 to 2 years (or less plssss), South Korea. May the odds always be in my favor... I can do this!

NOTE: ALL PICTURES IN THIS POST ARE NOT MINE. IMAGES ARE LINKED TO THE OWNER.

My 8 Things To Do and 8 Places Visit in South Korea

If you're wondering, my desire to visit Korea stemmed out from seeing places of interest in dramas and from wanting to be immersed in the people, language and culture of Korea ever since I studied Korean language in 2012. Classroom learning is a lot different than experiential learning so there.
Enjoy. :)

1. BOSEONG GREEN TEA FIELDS

This green tea plantation is located in Bosong, South Jeolla Province along the Southwest coast of the Korean Peninsula. Aside from the rolling green tea fields, there are also high cedar trees lined along the entrance of the tea plantation.

2. GYEONGBOKGUNG PALACE

Now listed as one of UNESCO Heritage Sites.

It was the main and the largest of the Five Grand Palaces built in the Joseon Era (1395), its name once translated to English means "Greatly Blessed by Heaven Palace"

3. GOLGULSA TEMPLE , GYEONGJU

The name of this place means Stone Buddha Temple. This was built at the foot of Mt. Hamwol in the 6th century and is the only temple cave in Korea. There are originally 12 rock caves in the area but only 7 have remained standing until present.

4. NAMI ISLAND / NAMISEOM

Nami Island is a half-moon shaped island in Chuncheon, South Korea. This place was built as a result of the Cheongpyeong Dam. Mr. Minn Byeong-do, who purchased the island in 1965, was the one who cultivated the once was a desolate place into the the Namiseom we see now.

5. 63 BUILDING

With 63 floors, this is Korea's tallest and most recognizable building which you can go to and see the spectacular view of Seoul, Hangang Rivers and the surrounding mountains. Sea world and Sky Deck are two other attractions in this building.

6. FOREST 12, DAEGU
I can't find a lot of information about this place and I only learned about its existence when I watched the drama, "It's Okay, it's Love". But Forest 12 consists of four themes which are eco-healing, hands-on experience and learning, culture and arts program, and relaxation.

7. GAMCHEON CULTURAL VILLAGE

This place is also referred to as the, "Santorini of the East" probably because of the similarities in the way these houses are also built. Located on a hill in Saha-gu, there's just so much history on how this place. From the dust of poverty and war, it has now become one of Korea's cultural offerings and unique architectural designs.

8. GURI HANGANG PARK

Go here during summer, spring or autumn so you can see the fields of Cosmos flowers in full bloom.

9. EVERLAND

Aside from the 5 zones of Everland, I want to ride T Express, the 6th longest wooden roller coaster in the world and Jigu Maul, a ride which shows worldwide traditions, customs, sceneries and miniatures from more than 18 countries.

10. SHOP AT DONGDAEMUN AND MYEONGDONG

To be honest, if I include shopping in my budget, I think I'd have to move my plans two years further 'cause shopping might mean some serious dent in my budget. So, to make this more possible, rather than me wanting to go shopping... I guess, a lot of window shopping, sightseeing and food tripping are the activities I'll do when I get to Myeongdong and Dongdaemun.

11. RIDE NAMSAN TOWER'S CABLE CAR

I felt nostalgic as I was searching for this because I was reminded of Lee Min Ho. Hahaha. This was the place where Geum Jan Di and Gu Jun Pyo spent their first night together. :( It was because of BOF that I got to know this place, it was because of BOF that I started wanting to learn Korean. Min Ho oppa, can we spend a night here too??? hehe.

This cable car is connected to Seoul Tower and Mt. Namsan

12. HIKE MT. BUKHANSAN

I'd love to take a picture as I stand in this mountain's granite peak. If this is a bit too much for me and my mountain climbing stamina, I'm more than glad to compromise and settle for an easier hike as long as it's in Korea. Haha

13. WATCH HAN RIVER'S BANPO BRIDGE RAINBOW SHOW

Because it looks so fascinating. I'd love to spend a night just watching these colorful fountains.

14. BUNGEE JUMP AT YULDONG PARK

A trip to Korea should be memorable as it is but to take it to the next level, I shall try to Bungee Jump. Conquering a fear after another. Crossing out a bucket list item one after another.

15. MAKE A WISH/ ATTEND A MASS AT MYEONGDONG CATHEDRAL

How great would it be to hear a mass done in Korean language. I know that I won't be able to understand everything the priest would say but then, it's the faith and not the language that matters. :)) I saw this church years ago when I watched the K-drama, My Girlfriend is a Gumiho and just like the Namsan Tower and Cable Car of BOF, this church has become my must-visit place in Korea.

16. EAT AUTHENTIC KOREAN FOOD, GO TO A CAFE OR JUST ABOUT ANYTHING WITH FOOD.

I was having thoughts whether or not I still should place this here since it's given that I'll be eating authentic Korean food in Korea but I don't think a trip to Korea without trying a lot of authentic food is complete. So to be specific, I'd also love to go to a Korean seafood market, eat street foods or any activity that is food related. Hehehe.

Choosing my top 16 and researching information about them was a bit "painful" yet fun thing since I'm exposing myself to things I've always wanted to do and to places I've always wanted to visit. It was also rather difficult to choose the final places since there are a lot of choices but it has to be done - for a starter, I believe these are all good especially if you're more interested in sightseeing and their culture. Made this not because I enjoy the pain but so I'd have an inspiration and to have something that I can look back to by the time that my trip is all set. :))

This post shall be my lucky charm and my ultimate motivator. :)) I know I can do it. See you, Korea in 2016 (or earlier if possible haha!)

If you have also been wanting to go to a place, it doesn't even have to be Korea, by looking at pictures, by researching, by adjusting your lifestyle and little by little structuring your life and thoughts around it... nothing is impossible. Every place you dream about is within reach. Hehehe. Yes? YES!! We can do dizzzz.
