It has been more than a year since I last wore a bb cream and face powder. I stopped because I developed masknes (breakout) so I went bare-faced in order to decongest my skin. It was a new feeling because I've worn bb cream since 2012 but I got used to the simplicity of my new routine. Even after my breakout has calmed down, I stuck with just using toner, moisturizer, and sun screen.

I ran out of my Biore and I like having choices so I bought another one that I use alternately with my Nivea Sun Gel.

The newest sunscreen in my stash: Ra and Gowoori's Real Kill 9.9 Sunscreen with Make Up Base. As per its name, it's a sunscreen and primer/ make up base in one.

There wasn't really a lot of reviews for this sunscreen even in Reddit but this is the one used by Dr. Erin (The Nerdy Derma). Despite my apprehension 'cause they said that this has a slight white cast, I purchased as soon as I saw the chance.

I knew what I was getting into but coming from Biore and Nivea's sunscreen, this looked very thick (parang Elmer's glue) and sticky at first. I judged too quickly though 'cause upon spreading, it turns out to be very light as if I didn't put any sun screen on my face so it wasn't uncomfortable even on humid days.

It doesn't irritate my eyes and with no alcohol smell even unlike the first two I mentioned. Don't get me wrong, it's not fragrance-free. There's a faint smell but it fades immediately.

This is in the pricerange of reasonably-priced to cheap compared to other products in the market.

Again, my first concern about this is they said that it has a slight cast. I'm not fair-skinned so I had a difficult time deciding whether to purchase this or not mainly because of that. "Baka lang masayang kasi maputi tignan sa'kin," I thought. Needless worry 'cause there wasn't a white cast on me even if the filter of this sun screen is Titanium Dioxide. And if there is, it's not obvious.

Does its job both as a sun screen and a make-up base. I, however, stop at this step. As I mentioned before, I no longer wear bb cream and face powder. 😅

There's "shine" but not the haggard, oily kinda shine. Glowy? Dewy? I don't use oil control film a lot these days even if it's already hot on some days. Gentle and doesn't clog my pores so I don't get a lot of masknes anymore even after wearing face masks for hours.

I can't say that this is the sole product that made my face less oily 'cause I also added Isntree's Green Tea toner in my morning routine. I might post about that too one of these days... months. HAHAHA

Pink Muhly is a seasonal grass that only grows during autumn and Gyeongju is one place where you can see a lot of it. There are places and parks in Busan that have these too.

Hwangnyongsa Temple Site/ Hwangnyongsa History Culture Center

Above is a replica of Hwangnyeongsa. It is a temple built in 553 and completed in 645 but was burned down in 13th century during the Mongol invasions. This was one of the treasures from the Kingdom of Silla.

Gyeongju World Culture Expo Park.

The building in the middle of the photo is called Gyeongju Tower Observatory. Notice that the center of the building looks like a cut-out of the Hwangnyongsa Pagoda to show the significance of the Pagoda in the history of not only Gyeongju but the whole of South Korea.

The park hosts cultural and social events in Gyeongju. I took these photos from a moving bus but only learned about the history when these were featured in 2 days, 1 night variety program.

More autumn season experience to me. Someday. Yes, universe? HAHA!

We entered this Tourist Information to ask about the bus schedule so we can properly time our tour of the temple since we have an afternoon KTX ride to catch.

The walk to the temple grounds is quite long and uphill since it's situated in the slopes of Mount Toham.

However, it was during a pleasant autumn day that we had the time of our lives still just by walking along this paved walkway.

There are several food and souvenir carts along the way. If snacks aren't to your liking, there are several restaurants in front of the bus stop and even around Gyeongju.

Taking photos makes the walk back to the bus stop more interesting.

I've been waiting for an autumn day before but I wasn't able to properly time my visits. This, here, is the "most autumn" day I've experienced so far that even the parking area is a photo spot. DUH. HAHAHA! Lahat naman photo spot. Palusot pa.

They were installing the paper lanterns during the day of our visit so I took photos with the tree as well. AHAHAHHA. We were waiting for the bus back to Singyeongju that time so we took a lot of photos because, you know, ganda talaga.

My friend took burst photos of me crossing the street. HAHAHAHA! I would have sat in the middle of the street if only if there weren't other tourists waiting with us back then. Hiya pa pala ate mo ghorl.

I am glad that we squeezed in time for Gyeongju's Bulguksa Temple when we went to Busan. Posting this because I started watching 2 Days, 1 Night again. In one of their episodes, their game was to promote places in Korea and they chose Incheon and Gyeongju. I've uploaded all my posts about Incheon so I figured that I should post this here too.

Admission fee: 6,000 KRW/ around 6 USD per person.

You can spend the whole day at the temple but I don't think you'd need an entire day for this especially when there are a lot of interesting places in the whole of Gyeongju. We would've stayed longer and explored more if we had the time. Really. Hehe. But yea, due to time constraints we went straight to this temple.

Bulguksa is listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

If you ride the bus from Singyeongju Station, it's a long uphill walk to get to the temple but there are a lot of sights and things to see so we took our time.

We went here without research aside from the bus number that we're going to ride so we didn't know what to expect.

Bulguksa when translated to English means, "Temple of the Buddha Land" and it has three halls inside.

We went the wrong way so we saw these rocks first.

The temple area is well-preserved despite being centuries old and was once burnt to the ground.

Didn't notice immediately that everyone was going up and we were heading down. lol. HAHA. We did the tour in reverse.

We actually went the wrong way there.

We entered the temple thru the exit area but we only realized that when we arrived at this part. We went around again to see the other parts of the temple and good thing we did 'cause we have missed a lot. Kaya pala nagtataka kami na bakit parang ang liit lang nung lugar, mali pala kasi kami ng napuntahan. HAHA!

This is what happens when you're not paying attention to the signages when you're in a new place.

Before entering, you're supposed to wash/cleanse yourself first.

The area outside the temple is huge and beautiful especially during Spring and Autumn because of the trees. It wasn't full on Autumn that day so we didn't have a lot of orange and red color foliage but the bright yellow did the thing. It's still very fall, right?

Never thought that there will come a time when I'd say this but I miss being in a crowd. I noticed that unlike the episodes of 2D1N before, there aren't a lot of people when they go around these days. I rarely go to crowded places whenever I'm in South Korea pero nakakamiss din pala. Haha!

Those closer staircase is the National Treasure No. 22 called Yeonhwagyo nad Chilbogyo and the farther one with an arch is National Treasure No 23 called Cheongungyo and Baegungyo. Buddhists believe that people who have achieved "Nirvana" can go up and down those staircases.

This is one of the famous photo spot in Bulguksa. We had no idea that the staircases were of great importance in Bulguksa but we took photos with it anyway since a lot of people were doing so.

I've forgotten that this is how I always looked like in selfies before the pandemic. Konting jeje lang with red lipstick. Konti lang. HAHAHA!

Anapji Pond is also a famous spot in Gyeongju but we didn't have enough to go there so we just walked around this Banya Yeonji Pond which is also a part of the Bulguksa temple grounds. Banya Yeonji means Pond of Wisdom. Mas madami na po ba kong wisdom, Buddha ngayong nakaikot na ako dyan? 😂

I wanted to lessen the photos but I just can't choose which ones to delete. I guess it's more difficult to find places/photos in Bulguksa that is not beautiful. I would definitely spend a longer time if I ever find myself back in Gyeongju one of these days, months, year...s?
