Mango Banggo

P 160.00

This shake has mango ice cream, meringue, mango syrup, mango jam, butter cookies, whipped cream, and crush peanuts.

Camp Fire
P 170.00

Chocolate Ice cream, Toaste Marshmallow, Graham Crackers, Brownies, Chocolate Sprinkles and Whipped Cream

Love at first sight with this chocolate milkshake! Their shakes are huge so for P 170.00, this is already for sharing.

At first, the toppings felt really outrageous that it might be too sweet for me but it turned out just fine. I was also sure that this is something that my sister would like and no doubt about that 'cause the one I took home was a hit!

Creme Brulee
P 190.00

Cheesecake Ice cream, meringue, caramel syrup, wafer with additional cotton candy.

Good on its own but becomes really instagram-able and sweet with the cotton candy on top. This, again, is something that kids and sweet-toothed would like though I didn't find the milkshake itself too sweet though. This might actually be the shake with least sweetness among the three I've tried. Cotton candy kasi eh. :))

Brownie Ala Mode

The perfect balance of a warm chocolate brownie and vanilla ice cream. <3

These are only some of the milkshake offering of Craft Creamery with the price. One order is huge enough that the price is really worth it.

I'm so craving for these drinks in this very hot and humid summer day!

While it's impossible to run out of Food Parks to visit these days since there are a lot, it's not always that you're "happy" when leaving the place. Either the food items are not delicious enough or the price point is too steep.

Thankfully that's not the case with Soul Potato, one of the stalls in Devour Foodhub located at  1216 E Rodriguez Sr. Ave, New Manila, Quezon City,

Devour food hub has an ample parking space for diners and they also have enough tables and chairs for diners.

Shepherd's Pie
P 160.00

This is ground beef in tomato sauce covered with mashed potato, mozzarella cheese and potato chips.

I enjoyed eating this that I forgot that it was only our first dish that night. I've always loved the combination of mashed potato and melted cheese but the flavorful beef just put this dish in another level.

Country Fried Pork in Mushroom Gravy
P 180.00

The pork is crunchy on the inside and very tender inside. I love the pepper-y taste of the mushroom gravy that comes with this dish.

Crispy Chicken Cheese Melt
P 160.00

This reminded me so much of a pizza. You know, chicken-crusted pizza. :)) As a cheese lover, I liked this dish a lot though I wasn't into this pairing. I think it'd be a lot better if you choose that this be paired with their delicious mashed potato.

Hickory Pork Steak
P 180.00

Pairing dishes with mashed potato is a typical American food - and it's something that I can actually eat these days especially if the meat is very tasty. Gone are the days when I was sooooo into rice! haha!

Baby Back Ribs
P 260.00

Perfectly paired with their mashed potato. This flavorful baby back ribs is so tender you won't have hard time slicing it. Definitely falls off the bone!

Grilled Chimichuri Tomahawk
P 230.00

Grilled to perfection - this tomahawk easily became my favorite dish from Soul Potato. As you can see, the serving is very generous and the meat flavor goes very well with their chimichuri sauce! I appreciate the extra sauce on the side too.

Freshly Cooked. Huge Servings. Classic Pairings with a Twist.

Soul Potato in Devour Foodhub is surely a stall that brought me comfort and happiness! <3

While I don't remember where I first saw this bridge, it's one of the places that I've always wanted to see in Seoul.

I was really close to giving up though since I mistakenly alighted at Yeoeuido Station and had to walk so far to reach the park that is close to this bridge.

Yeoeinaru Station should be the closest to this place if you want to go here too.

South Korea Travel Sim? Purchase yours here.

Even though the history of this bridge isn't really positive since I've read before that a lot of people have taken their lives by jumping at this bridge (the reason why the authorities decided to add these phrases in the first place); reading the words and questions written on the bridge can actually lighten up your mood when you're down. Should give you hope when everything feels hopeless.

Plus the fact that this is a good place to see Seoul skyline.

Above means, "How's your day?"

Above reads, "Mal An Hae Du Ara" I'm really bad at Romanizing Hangul but it means "Even if you don't say it, I know"

Uhm,

All the hard things,

(Are) Just

Like a wind that passes by

Kind of like, "you'll get pass all through the hard times"
"all the bad times will pass"

Good, right?

For some reason, a quiet time walking along this bridge kind of brought me peace of mind. I mean, you get surrounded by the busy life (the moving vehicles on the road) but you choose to relax and take everything in - the beauty of Seoul, the cold wind that blows pass you, and the re-gathering of strength to fight this exhausting battle.

It's always a good idea to stop and enjoy the view. Yep, no matter how busy it gets :)

Always remember that no matter what happens, there will always be people who understand without needing words. :)

Overall, the 1-2 hours I spent in this area was really worthwhile that I decided to revisit this before going back to Manila. <3

Very Seoul!!! <3

You shall not miss taking picture with this! #seoulsearching!!! hehehe

The lack of people even though I know that this is a touristy spot is actually still on my favor because it became a peaceful night for me. One of those nights when I can't help it but become more grateful for everything.

This goes for everyone who's having a difficult time and are feeling hopeless, hang on there! Things will eventually get better for everyone of us. <3

Once you open this magazine-type menu, I assure you that you're gonna have a hard time choosing what you like because EVERYTHING looks good. Looking at the photos of their food is already a feast in itself.

How many times have we become victims of Expectation vs. Reality when it comes to the food that we ordered? As you can see above, The Fat Seed is consistent with their "instagram-worthy" plating.

P 175.00

Mushroom Fritters
Deep fried oyster mushroom served with homemade ketchup

If they didn't inform us that this were mushrooms, I wouldn't immediately recognize what it is. I found this really good and it's like a healthier alternative to french fries and chicharon even.

P 325.00

Buttermilk Fried Chicken with Ube Waffle in Salted Egg Sauce
ube waffles with buttermilk fried chicken, bacon infused maple syrup, salted egg sauce and picked red onion

Two persons can actually share this dish especially because the chicken fillet was quite big and having those four ube waffle is filling already. I loved the combination of their maple syrup and salted egg sauce with the ube waffle! <3

P 395.00

The Fat Seed Signature Porkchop
beer brine porkchop, creamy deli mustard sauce, homemade miso, sweet potato

P 305.00

Wagyu Pares
Wagyu beef cubes with beef broth served with fried rice and shao xing rice wine

THIS DISH SO REMINDED ME OF HIGH SCHOOL! ALL CAPS PARA INTENSE, BESHY. :))))
From the silver lunchbox that is used as its container to the beef pares memories definitely brought me back to those good old days... when life was way simpler. Me ganun?! ehehe

Our high school comfort food made really better especially since it has wagyu cubes.

 P 385.00

Hotate Soy Cream Pasta
Japanese soy cream, scallops, ebiko, bonito flakes, nori shreds

Eventhough the combination of ingredients seemed a bit weird to me at first but you know, whatever works, works. Out of all the food that we had that night, this is the one that I'm craving for the most.

I wasn't able to take pictures of their entire wall. Not only are their food very "instagrammable," the place itself is also.

The whole place is very cozy and artsy as you may notice. It is also kind of conducive for studying as you'd notice a lot of students there especially after school hours. The Fat Seed did really great in their different take on the Filipino coffee shop experience.

It's only now that I'm starting to drink coffee so I was able to taste this. Although I'd still choose matcha in a heartbeat, at least I am now able to taste coffee.

And this iced coffee is something that coffee-lovers will appreciate. Hindi pa man tunaw 'yung buong coffee cubes pero feeling na hindi ka na matutulog. This one is perfect for students that are reviewing/studying 'cause unlike other iced cofee that becomes diluted overtime, the coffee in this drink obviously becomes more concentrated.

Peaberry Brew

Peaberry is from a coffee bean that is smaller and rounder than the coffee bean we usually see (flatbean). This one tastes and smells different because it has a citrusy (?) acidic kick to it.

Watch out for the cocktail drinks above.

Rojito and Purple Haze

Best taken after exams?! :))) I found purple haze too strong for me though so I prefer Rojito. Despite its liquor content, it kind of feels refreshing - probably because of the mint.

Macau Beyond Casinos 2018

Travel Guide link: here.

We had a difficult time choosing our accommodation in Macau 'cause even if there are a lot of hotels there, not all are budget-friendly.

We eventually chose Inn Hotel Macau in Taipa which we booked from Agoda. Accommodations are usually pricey in Macau and it's something that we failed to take into consideration since we got busy planning our itinerary. There are still cheaper ones that are located in the Old Macau City but we opted to stay here in Taipa so the location is strategic as well. While paying 4,500 PHP+ per night for two persons was beyond our budget especially since we stayed for four nights, we still feel that we got the best of our money's worth with Inn Hotel Macau.

This hotel is only three bus stops away from Aeroporto De Macau/ Macau International Airport. Make sure to get  a screenshot of where this is located especially during on your first day.

Check in was a breeze. We informed them thru Facebook that we are to arrive at around 10PM - 11PM so they were expecting us already. You'll be asked to pay a refundable 500 MOP deposit once you check-in so be prepared for that.

We were hungry when we arrived in Macau but we chose to check-in first and just look for food after. The convenience store inside the hotel was already closed but there are a lot of stores outside even if that was already very late in the evening, there's even a 24 hours supermarket/grocery nearby.

BELOW ARE PHOTOS FROM OUR ROOM:

They cleaned our room daily; threw the garbage; restocked water bottles and toiletries; and changed the towels. Thumbs up to that 'cause nothing is better than going back to a clean and tidy hotel room after a long day.

This is the recent addition to the freebies of Inn Hotel Macau.

They have a phone with fast and reliable internet connection that you may use while checked-in. While this phone doesn't have a hotspot to connect other devices, it has an app that erases all the data when you're done using it so logging in accounts felt safe and secure.

Our room was spacious and felt elegant. We had two windows, one is facing the mountains and one is facing Taipa.

Comfy beds! <3

While you only have three options for the main meals in the restaurant, salad and bread are unlimited. I was able to eat all three and my favorite was the soy sauce noodles. Food in Macau can get quite expensive so having breakfast/brunch before you leave the hotel is already a way to lessen expenses.

We were also given this complimentary coupon that we used in their sister hotel which is the Emperor Palace in Macau Peninsula. I got a sweet and sour pork meal that costs 55 MOP for free.

From Emperor Palace, going back the Inn Hotel wasn't a problem since they offer free shuttle service back and forth. And if you're from other areas in Macau, there's a nearby bus stop there so commuting isn't a problem.

Even if we first thought that staying in Inn Hotel Macau was expensive since we don't allot big budget for accommodations, the freebies they offer have actually enabled us to save more.

P.S. If you're buying souvenirs such as jerky and/or Macau pastries, don't buy at the casino hotels. The stores in Taipa which is located across this hotel has cheaper price for the same items.
