Lakas maka-California girl. <3

I forgot what time we left Vegas but it was before sunrise. We haven't eaten our breakfast so we had several stop-over before reaching Legoland. We have a Denny's branch near our place but it was my first time in California to try eating there.
For a bank errand and a quick restroom break, we had a stop-over here too at Oceanside.

It actually feels a bit similar to Santa Monica only that, this place had less people or we were just a bit early for the crowd. Nonetheless, if I had a day to spare in California, I would have chosen a day spent here in Oceanside. I am a sucker for anything "ocean" because there's something about the waves and its smell that relaxes me. Like this is a new information, noh. hahaha.

Legoland!

My first amusement park in the United States of America. Hahaha :)
We rode a couple of rides though, yeah, those are for the children which is the main target of this park. Haha! Just like this huge lego block boat... so had to ride this!
My friend got this big blue stuffed toy from somewhere and I gladly carried it for him all around the park.
Panakip taba!! :))

Alaska, Sydney, Acapulco, New York very very soon. :))

South Korea very soon!! <3
We enjoyed the waterpark too much that we swam until its closing time so we weren't able to use our tickets for the sealife aquarium because it was already closed when we arrived at the gate. Boo. :( What a waste! :( It would have been my first fish tank experience in the US.

Second to Manila Ocean Park which I've gone to in 2012.

Click this link and see how payat was I during those days. Here.
Pa cute lego guy! Haynako ah, life, buti pa 'yung lego pwedeng i-jowa.

At mawala na lahat, huwag lang lipstick ganern? Hahaha!
Goodbye, Legoland!!!! :))

I am actually looking forward to the time that I will be able to go back to Malaysia just so I can add Malaysia, Legoland to the itinerary. I don't know, I just want to see it too. Hehehe. And actually, my friend joined this raffle to the Cartoon Network Park that is in Thailand. haha! Maybe lang, ano, the universe will be generous to us and actually grant us those tickets.

Miniland USA at Legoland link: here.

Legoland is definitely an amusement park for kids, okay kids at heart, and lego enthusiasts - okay an amusement park for everyone na lang kasi. HAHA.

Anyway, I'm showing you below the attraction in Legoland that became my favorite - MINILAND USA.

Basically the Miniland USA is composed of Lego replicas made up of 32,496,352 lego bricks!

This is the replica of San Francisco's Lombard Street.  The Colt Tower and the Golden Gate Bridge are also at the back. Back then, I haven't gone to San Francisco yet so these are like "goals" ahahaha.
Pier 39 Area

This is San Fo talaga. Hahaha. Sobrang galing!!!

I can't even make something distinguishable using Lego bricks and they can do something as amazing as this. :)))

SAN FO GOALS BEYBEH!!!!

Took a picture with it just in case I won't be able to go. :))) But I wassssssss. Posting soon too!
Chinatown in San Fo.
LINKS: Hollywood's Chinese Theater, Griffith Observatory, and Hollywood Sign
Because I don't have a clear picture with the Hollywood sign, Legowood sign will do. :))

Found "home" in Legoland, California. <3

Luxor and The Excalibur Hotel of the Las Vegas Strip!

New York, New York

Paris, The Venetian

Mirage and Fortune Island

I miss you so much, Las Vegas!!!

MIND TAKING ME BACK?! :(
Build your own lego boat and race it with your friend... ang shubaaaaa. HAHAHAHA.

Autumn soon. Autumn Somewhere.

70 days from now. Please be good to me, life!!!! One day at a time. <3

This was taken while riding the Coast Cruise wherein different attractions from all over the world have replicas.

Mt. Rushmore
Statue of Liberty

Band

Aside from the Taj Mahal, they had more such as the Eiffel Tower, etc. dahil nalimutan ko na. :))))

I have pictures from the rest of the park and its waterpark which I will be posting soon. Actually, this is a place that I won't go to if not for my companions. HAHAHA. I am not an amusement park person. :)) To be honest, the only the that I am looking forward to visiting is Ferrari World in Dubai. :))) But my US Trip kinda changed my preference of the places that I want to go to so yeah, here's to more amusement parks all over the world!!! <3

I wasn't the one holding my camera while we were here in Legoland's Waterpark so I don't have a lot of pictures to show you aside from those where I am included. :))))

My first Waterpark!!!

At first, I was like, "Ano ba gagawin dito? Katamad mag swimming!"

And then one slide after another, I didn't want to stop. Hahaha!

Out of the slides they have there.

I find this the most fun probably because I had my friends with me aside from the fact that this is really exciting!

What it looks like at the end of the Orange Rush.
I was holding my tummy because belly fat. Hahaha.

Anyhow, look at my height and compare it to the American guy which is most likely younger than me or of my age.

My point is here I was always mistaken as someone who is in her teens. I don't find it offensive at all but rather very interesting that I looked "baby face" while in America.

People would ask this young lady how old she is because she always stay in the casinos and other places where minors aren't allowed. Hahaha!
Yes, legs?
This was taken at the wave pool.

This was in Chima area.

Chima and Ninjago are the only Legos that I am familiar with because my cousin's son looked for those everywhere before! I bet they will also have the time of their lives here. Someday. hehe.
Trying out the twin chasers. Buti nagkasya. hehe.

Near this area there was a ride called Pirate Reef. It's like Enchanted Kingdom's Jungle Log ride only waaaaaaay better! You'll get more wet here in the Pirate Reef and the big wave of water would make like big walls around the "ship" and you'll be in the center of the water wall for several seconds. If you can get what I'm trying to say. :))
At the lazy river pool.

There's one in Ace Water Spa, Pasig should you want to try it out too. :)

Look at my already visible feet tan lines. <3
Still have them at this point.

hahaha. Iba talaga ang ganda pag morena! Charuu. The funny thing is I didn't look that dark in most of my pictures because the sunlight made me look fairer when in reality I got several skin tones darker. So when I got home here in the Philippines, people asked me, "Oh? Bakit ang itim mo?, "Sa Palawan ka ba nanggaling?" etc.

Gone are the days, especially for those who saw me after my sojourn, where people would think that, "Nakakaputi sa America." Hindi mga, besh!!! Hindi uso mag payong at nakaka-shoba ang food. hahaha!
Sorry, strangers!! Had to post this picture of us.

I don't even know who they were but look at them posing for the camera too.
More attractions at the waterpark for younger kids who can't try the slides yet.
Toddlers enjoyed this part a lot. hehe.
Goodbye, Legoland!

A day passed by so quickly but it was worth all the dollars I spent. haha. Edi wow!!

Looking forward to visit Malaysia's Legoland someday too! I'd love to see their verson of the Miniland USA. Someone told me the replicas are of those tourist attractions that can be found in Southeast Asia.

I'll try to post the rest of my travels with flower fields, parks, and attractions that I haven't uploaded here yet 'cause I want to make another compilation with them just like the cable car rides compilation that I posted a while back. For the meantime, here's my second favorite area in Carlsbad. HAHAHA. My first is the Strawberry Picking field but this is not about that.

Cable Car Rides Compilation *hopefully not the end*

Spring 2019: Sakura and Flower Fields (Japan and USA)

This is an annual Spring attraction in Carlsbad, California and it has been that way since 40 years ago. The field is accessible from March 1st to whenever Mother's Day is so when this gets posted, there will only be two days left for this year's access. Hopefully, we'll all be in better life condition during next year's Spring.

This may serve a guide for a visit here some time in the future.

The Flower Fields Ticket Rates

We frequented buffets serving strawberries and we would always have fresh strawberries bought in Costco when I was in the States so I didn't feel the urge to buy anything here. It's a different scenario here in the Philippines though 'cause anything fresh strawberries is always a dilemma of whether I'm buying or not.

We passed by here when we were driving to San Diego from Los Angeles Airport. Back then, I didn't know that this is a part of our itinerary so I was really excited when I was told that we were going here.

There are information boards such as this throughout the flower field so even if you walk there without a guide, you'll still be able to learn a new thing or two or three? 😜

The largest field of flowers that I've been at to date. There's definitely a lot more to the Flower Fields aside from the rows and rows of Ranunculus. I was probably too excited seeing the flower fields that why I have no pictures of the other parts of the area but there are greenhouses with roses, poinsettias, etc.

I am not really familiar with the names of flowers aside from those that I've frequently seen before, of course. These are ranunculus flowers, it's so amazing how they look so different yet similar, if you can see what I mean.

This place is a vast hill of flowers with several activities and things to do that you can actually allot an entire day if you plan on seeing all the other attractions/exhibits inside. Also, there's a nearby outlet mall called Carlsbad Premium Outlets with several restaurants should you want to look for something to eat and shop afterwards.

Inlove with the visual and the scent of this place.

The flowers on this part of the field weren't in full bloom yet. Another thing worth mentioning is that it overlooks the Carlsbad Beach when you're on top of the hill.

Tractor Wagon Tours

For a fee, you get to ride the tractor either as a tractor tour of the whole area or as a shuttle that will drop you off on top of the flower hill.

Vibrant color of the ranunculus flower field is visible even when driving from the Interstate-5/ San Diego Freeway.

Bye, Flower Fields!
Until the day that I'll see you again in this lifetime. 😂💓

Taiwan: Zhongshe Guan guang Flower Market, Taichung

Since it's Spring in the Northern Hemisphere now, photos of flowers is everywhere in my Instagram's post recommendations. Probably the reason why I was compelled (by myself, kasi naman 😂) to post this before this year's Spring Season ends. HAHAHA! Sabi ko na eh and I should really be thankful for this that considering the frequency of my upload these days, I have enough backlogs that will last me several months even without new travels during this pandemic.

In Spring time, hope blooms even in the most loneliest forgotten meadow.

Praying and hoping that this nightmare ends in the nearest future.

Also in Carlsbad, CA:

Legoland Waterpark
Legoland Miniland USA
Oceanside
Strawberry Picking

Everything, in time. 💖
