A heaven for plant lover that won't definitely break the bank.

This post may be a little bit late 'cause there were probably a lot more plantita/plantito looking for plant suppliers/sellers during the pandemic compared to present but I wasn't actively blogging back then so I'm only posting this now.

If you're looking for affordable plants, garden soil, rocks, or any thing that's related to gardening or landscaping then you might want to check Violeta Village in Guiginto, Bulacan. Just type Violeta Village in your Google Map or Waze App and this is very easy to locate.

Plant lovers heaven, isn't it?

Just have to bring lots of patience especially on your first time 'cause going around the stores takes time and is a bit tiring. Buong village ba naman e tindahan.

Hydrangeas

We don't buy this though but this is one of my favorite plants to see there.

South Korea: Taejongdae (태종대)Resort Park, Busan

We buy this frequently though. The last time we went there, it was P 70.00/plant for these Philippine roses.

I am not greenthumbed nor I am able to keep a plant alive so we often go there to buy some roses.... for me to kill eventually. HAHAHA. But yeah, there's this one plant that we bought there way back 2020 and it's still alive up to this day.

I can't keep a plant alive but I enjoy looking at gardens filled with flowers so I'm always delighted to visit this place even if we don't purchase a lot.

By the way, this place is also pet-friendly.

a.k.a Mama Piat Spirituality Center

It took me weeks before posting this here. I wanted to do a little research first because honestly, I don't know much about Mama Piat (Why is She is called Mama Piat, why is she darker than other Mama Mary etc. You may leave a comment if you know!) Comment na lang if you know 'cause obviously, wala pa rin akong alam kahit weeks na 'tong delayed. Pardon the lack of information. I'll just share what happened that morning and some information I got from their facebook page.

Healing Mass in this church is every first Tuesday of the month.

We passed through NLEX, exit at Balagtas Interchange.

Here is the direction I got from their fb page link: here.
from MANILA, take NLEX and EXIT in BALAGTAS. Go thru Bustos and right to ANGAT. Before reaching the ANGAT PROPER, turn LEFT to DONA REMEDIOS TRINIDAD. This is somewhere the Memorial Park landmark. Follow road leading to DRT which will take you to Brgy Pulong Sampaloc. At the Police sub-station, TURN RIGHT TO Sitio Kutad, Brgy Camachile-Brgy Bayabas crossing. You will see the shrine a few meters as you turn. Follow Directions to Spirituality Center.

The real church is still under construction so masses are held in this covered court. We arrived early so I was still able to roam around the area and eat the pilgrim's food donations. Yes, may food before the mass na bigay ng mga nagsisimba din and tea!! Their tea was one of the best I've ever drunk, combination of avocado, pandan and guyabano.
Mama Piat
My kind of gin.
Was able to find a vendor of fresh carabao milk, this bottle was sold for only P 30.00. My golly. Sana meron sa QC!
Sierra Madre Mountain Range loves me so much!!

Regina Rica link: here is also found in the stretch of Sierra Madre.
The future Sprituality center of Mama Piat.
For the healing part, they give out cue numbers before the mass starts to make it more systematic and orderly.

It was my first time attending a mass with Fr. Egai de Jesus as the officiating priest, I heard that he also hosts a radio program at Radio Veritas. Anyway, I thought I no longer remember his homily but I was wrong. I still remember some of the things he said and,

Non-verbatim

Sorry, Thank You and I love You... these are the hard words to say, aren't they?

WHERE REASON ENDS, FAITH BEGINS.

Panalangin para Mahal na Birhen ng Piat

And then we spent the whole afternoon in Angat.

A part of Angat Dam.
Ipo Dam na lang. Hihi.

Just a couple of pictures from our latest visit in this Shrine in Bulacan. Our last was around 3 years ago.

Renovations on-going.
Even the church was under renovation; they hold masses at the covered court.

Food from their food court.

Should I make the title, "the search for the missing Havaianas..." or "MRT and Divisoria like swimming pools" instead? Naah, stick to Amana Waterpark, it wasn't that bad.

You know you've gotten darker when even your foot has tan line.

I SHOULD HAVE POSED THERE. haha.

Drinks aside from water are not allowed, you'd have to leave them with the guard. You can go back to the gate to drink though. And, they're selling inside the resort.
Pretty huge place, huh?
But siksikan pa rin, ilang buses, jeepneys at kotse ba naman.

Huge waves that almost drowned me!
I stayed near the 6 ft. mark 'cause we were enjoying the waves then suddenly it got so wild and high we weren't able to return to a shallower part, thanks to some Kuya who let me hold onto his life buoy until the waves calmed down.

It was so hot and there were a lot of people, add the missing flip-flops that we weren't able to walk around and take lots of pictures. Nevertheless, the whole place is beautiful. Oh, one thing, pool water wasn't clear. They were cloudy and heavily treated, but fine.

While it's obvious if I'm making the title, "MRT like swimming pools", bakit "Search for the missing Havaianas?"

Tsk

I'm not discouraging people to go there, you should if you're planning. It's still a beautiful resort despite these, nag-enjoy pa rin ako, saka bihira lang naman ang perfect.
