I've always thought that my bleeding gums almost every time I brush my teeth is untreatable. But it turns out that I can stop the bleeding by changing the kind of toothbrush that I am using.

Recently, I was introduced to a toothbrush that solved the problem I had for several years. When I thought that all toothbrushes are the same, Oral B's Ultrathin Toothbrush found its way to me.
Aside from being a green tea bias, what makes a tooth brush with green tea infused bristles special?

The bristles can help improve gum health in fourteen days. Sobrang gentle that its very comfortable and safe to use even for us with sensitive gums. HAHAHAHA. Ang OA ko lang.
With bristles that are 0.01mm thin, deep cleaning and removing plaque along the gum line is possible.
Basta mga beh, di ko ma-explain hahaha pero iba talaga after gamitin 'tong toothbrush na 'to. Sarap ng feeling! Haha. At dahil green tea nga, I think I found my forever with this toothbrush. hihi

Korean Character Exhibition: The Delight of Korean Animation Character World

From February 7 - May 10, 2014, these are the things on display at KCCPh's wave hall.

I, myself, don't remember watching these Korean animations when I was younger but despite that, seeing these was enough to feel nostalgic. Afterall, our childhood is one of the best times of our lives, isn't it?

Anyway, it was only in 2012 that I got to watch episodes of some of these animations since they're a great way to practice Korean language skills too. I don't remember what was it but I learned the Korean words for different body parts and animal names from an animation.

Adventures on Cloud Bread and Hello, Jadoo.

Yes, we learn something new everyday.
I've always thought that Pucca is Chinese!

And of course, Pororo and friends.

CHINGUYA ANNYEONG!
These toys will definitely make a child happy.
No touching and playing though!
This exhibit is for free so visit the Korean Cultural Center in the Philippines now and take a selfie with Pororo and Pucca!
---

I was once a student (Elementary 1, Elementary 2 & Korean Traditional Dance) and a volunteer at KCCPh. Until now, if time and schedule permits, I always find myself returning there. Two years ago (LEE MIN HO AND BOYS OVER FLOWERS were the roots of all these), I decided to enroll myself in a language class at KCC. Like what I've always told some people, it was one of the best decisions I made in this life. (K. EMO? HAHAHA) I'm really glad that even if I knew no one and nothing when I started, I pushed through. As time passed, I fell inlove not only with the Korean culture per se but also with the experiences I had. Not to mention that I also gained friends along the way.

Why am I saying this?

I want to invite like-minded people to take our hobby to the next level.

If you're devoting much of your time watching dramas, following K-pop stars etc. why not channel those "fangirling" and "fanboying" passions to something that would benefit you in the long run? Self-improvement, culture immersion, having a third language ganyan.

In weeks time, maybe in the 3rd or last week of April, the Korean Cultural Center in the Philippines is opening its doors again for Filipinos who are interested in learning more about Korea. If you're one of us and you have the time, will and budget (they offer classes at a very affordable price, mej mahal lang paminsan ang cost of living sa BGC kasi. hehe) why not try enrolling yourself in one of their classes?

And though they're not considered a language institute (more of hobbies lang kasi and it's a cultural center), I assure that you'll learn a lot. I passed my TOPIK beginner level 2 with the knowledge I learned from KCC's elem 1&2. :) TOPIK tips link: here.

ADDITIONAL INFO: Start 'em young! Enroll children aged 10-15 years old in their summer youth program from April 21 to May 9 ( 10 AM to 12 NN) for only P 200.00. Enroll online on April 9-11 and onsite on April 12.

Children will learn the Korean Language basic, traditional games and more.

Requirements are:

Age: 10-15yrs old as of April 21

Waiver
Passport-sized photo
Birth certificate
P200 registration fee

For us who can't get enough (I don't think I'll ever get enough!) Bench is giving us another opportunity to catch our Lee Min Ho Oppa at three different malls on Sunday, March 23, 2014.

FUNMEET AND GLORIETTA 2012 link: here.

All you have to do is purchase P 1,000.00 worth of Bench merchandise with So Inlove or Sure Blue fragrances to get a chance to receive a signed Lee Min Ho poster. Tingin ko personal niya iaabot 'yung poster!!!! :>

EDIT: Thanks to a reader for pointing this out. I didn't know about this because it wasn't announced last night. I thought that you'll automatically be given a signed poster once you buy worth P 1000.00 of Bench products but as what Bench said in their Instagram account earlier today, "
For every P1k worth of Bench purchases that includes Sure Blue or So In Love EDT in participating stores, a customer will automatically get an entry pass and a CHANCE to score an autographed poster of Lee Min Ho! Promo runs today until tom March 23 only." So raffle pa pala itez.

But of course, should you opt not to buy Bench merchandise anymore and you're okay just by staring at him, you're still welcome to go there.

The venue and time are as follows:

3:00 PM - Trinoma ACTIVITY CENTER
5:00 PM - Glorietta ACTIVITY CENTER
6:30 PM - SM MALL OF ASIA OFFICIAL MUSIC HALL

Just like when Siwon and Donghae went here last 2012, pwede manood from sa mga upper floors link: here.

Anyway, below are the pictures of today's FUNMEET.

Just like most of us who attended tonight's event, I still can't get over!!

Ganern?

Philippine All Stars Dancers and Sam Oh
Ayan na siyyyaaaaaa. <3

And the staring galore started the moment he entered the stage.

It was so hard not to stare at his face. MY GOLLY.

MY GOLLY ver. 2.0, inggit much ako sa mga naka-hug at naka-selfie! Kelan naman kaya ako?!

How can a man be that handsome????? Bawal talaga hindi tumingin!
Unlike his first fanmeet, he sang this time which made the event a lot better. Only I was waiting for his booty shake!!

And I love it that he's now more comfortable interacting with the fans. Thank you, oppa for a kilig-filled night! Still hoping for a selfie/picture with you!

Got my invite and Bench merchandise today.

The supposed-to-be-title of this blog post was, "No more lower box tickets available for Lee Min Ho's fanmeet. I cry. :(" But thankfully I was able to find one this afternoon. As in it's the last available invite in the bench store I went at.

Lee Min Ho as Global Benchsetter March 2014's Funmeet Mechanics link: here.

I was actually at SM North yesterday but when the cashier was done punching all my items, she told me that there's no more Lower Box invite left and she was recommending that I buy Patron (worth P 1,600.00) instead. It's not an option since I want to stay at somewhere close yet I'm seated so I asked her to just void everything. It's either Lower or Upper Box for me. Pero bet talaga ang lower box. Huhuhu.

I was so disappointed yesterday and then decided that I shall go to other Bench stores today to look for invites. Ganun ka-adik? I was at Herbench (lesson learned) and asked the cashier first if they had invites, they had none so I left. Incidentally, my friend texted me to ask where I was so I was able to ask her if there's another Bench branch in that mall (Ayoko kasi nagtatanong sa authorities. Hadn't she replied, hindi ko siguro mahahanap) and she told me that there is. Half my mind wanted to go to her immediately but then the other half (that part which controls my feet) was already making my feet walk.

So there, long story short, I had to visit three stores just to get this invite.

Flip-flops, neon pink na bag pack, and So Inlove na eau de toilette. :))

Yes, Bench. Ang pangit naman ng life pag unflavored. Hindi masarap. Nye. -_-

The Global Benchsetter fanmeet on the 21st shall start at 7:00 PM!

Dear Blogosphere Fairygodmother, kahit isang picture lan
g kasama si Lee Min Ho please! Paki-push! :D :D :D

Lee Min Ho's going back to the Philippines on March 21, 2014 (Friday).

Min Ho's Filipino fans just got lucky again! OMG. :)) I can't help it but be all giggly whenever I hear that he's coming back to the Philippines. This is the third time yet no change of feelings. Bawal magsawa eh. Hahaha. Bakit magsasawa ha? Isa sa mga mukhang sarap titigan. Kim Tan!! Joke. I wasn't even able to reach episode 5 of that drama. But yea, Kim Tan is Lee Min Ho and Lee Min Ho is well, my number one Korean crush. ANUBER.

We should really be grateful that "our oppa" is a Global benchsetter.

Here below is the mechanics for the said fan meet and the list of participating stores:

Image Source: Wilbros Live's Twitter Account

Just in case you'll find the font too small.

Buy Bench products with So Inlove or Sure Blue fragrances and you'll get a FREE invite. FREE! Isn't that great?

We're thinking of availing the Lower Box seats.

Promo runs from March 6, 2014 to March 21, 2014.

I wonder if they'd be hosting another contest so we can have the chance for a meet and greet. HAHAHA. Kahit nakakahiya pa 'yan, baka mapatulan. :))

SEE YOU!

Today, February 14, 2014, is the opening of the 21st Travel Expo.
I went there to window shop and snatch some freebies. Huhubells.

It would have been a lot better if we have the money to book us some domestic and international trips but then, we were left with no choice but to get some fliers of different tours and hope that someday we'd be able to go to all of those places too. :))
Malaysia Booth
Apparently, 2014 is "Visit Malaysia" year.
And.. and that's the same backdrop they used last year.

We got a free brochure and Malaysia guidebook here since we have a scheduled flight to Kuala Lumpur in May.

My "Someday Petronas Towers" line last year will be happening this year and I'm more than grateful. No problems please.

I don't want to put this here yet but do you have suggestions regarding affordable accommodations, free attractions etc. in Malaysia and Singapore? We're currently in the process of choosing attractions for our itinerary.

Please, please help a first timer. :))

Travel Tour Expo 2013 link: here.
Of course, explore Philippines booth was there.
I also got myself a map of Sagada, Banaue and Baguio just in case.

Ours is divided into tables with different regions in each.
A temple in Thailand.
Spring Blossoms in Korea

And until now, Korea is still in the list of my dream destinations.
Did you know that Jeju Island in South Korea doesn't require a tourist visa? Yes, Jeju Island is visa-free even if South Korea requires it.

OMG Teddy Bear Museum and Olle Gil/ Trail. Huhuhu. Someday. Huhuhu

I really want you, Inside Cabin! $ 1,510, where are you?

Sponsor me! Any takers? Hahaha.

Anyway, above is, "Experiece Jeju Island, Korea in a Spring Cruise on April 13-19."

SOMEDAY, SOUTH KOREA!

I may have explored different places in Earth today through the pictures and some miniature version of their landmarks in different booths...
Still, no place can beat our homeland.

Batanes, you're also in my list!
Love the "Bakasyon mo, May meaning" of Bangon Tours.

Help rebuild calamity-stricken areas in the country by availing these tours offered by Bangon Tours.

Someday, Myeongdong.
.
Most booths have packages such as cruises and pilgrimages worldwide, different airlines are also there selling discounted tickets. I think most of the tour packages being sold are offered at a lower price.

And this has been it, my travel tour expo window shopping. Sana next year, shopping na talaga.

Travelling is a very expensive thing to do. Imagine saving up more than 100k only to spend everything on what? Less than 7 days of Europe trip. But I really, really, really believe that the money is not an issue here. If I can save that much for a trip, I wouldn't mind spending everything especially if the place is worth it.  Keywords: IF I CAN. But you know what? I feel that I can, of course I can. hahahaha. Someday, world. For the meantime, claim lang ng claim ulit.

Don't have the budget to join a European cruise? It's okay. Our country is very beautiful with so many places that are waiting to be explored.

Support local tourism. :) Maganda na, mas mura pa.

Go to this year's Travel Tour Expo and see these things for yourself.

February 14- 16, 2014 with an entrance fee of P 50.00 per person at SMX Convention Center.

"The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page."

"Tatlong araw na lang, Pasko na!"

Ako: O_O

If you're gonna ask me what happened to me these past days, I wouldn't be able to answer you. I can't decide whether there wasn't something significant that happened or everything was so sudden I couldn't remember any.

Time flies you wouldn't even realize that a week has already passed. And now, what? It's only three days before Christmas and most people I know, myself included, are doing last minute Christmas shopping. (I really wish I have tons of cash that what I did or will be doing tomorrow is legit shopping)

Again, typhoon Yolanda that devasted Eastern Visayas last month has a great impact for the way we feel now. A month ago a lot of people were thinking not to celebrate extravagant Christmas anymore in sympathy with the victims. But as Christmas day comes nearer, we just couldn't let go of our years long tradition of how we celebrate December 25th. And thus, most of us are out doing last minute shopping etc.

Anyhow,

I wish this season (all year round na lang pala) brings you joy (not only the joy you get from acquiring material things) peace and good health.

I haven't been updating this blog that  I have a ton of backlogs I have yet to post so allow me to combine my re-visits or updates of the things I have blogged about last year, which out of "tradition", I visited again this year.

Hello Kitty Christmas at SM North! Last year's link: here.

Trinoma's Light and Sound Show. Last year's link: here.

Show is until January 5, 2014.
This twinkle effect is so cool, isn't it?

Ayala Triangle Garden's Light and Sound Show. Last year's link: here.

A lot of people still go there to watch and some even sit on the floor during the show. But personally, I didn't find it as jaw-dropping and entertaining like the past two years. The then 15 minutes show was cut into more or less 5 minutes long show for this year. Though I appreciated that they now have varieties, it's still lacking. But who am I to complain when it's for free, right? Not bad especially for first timers who have no expectations yet.

Serenitea's Jumbo Cup Days (December 18, 19, 20) Last year's link: here.

And last December 20, I realized that I'm not into milk teas anymore.

I only wanted to try it again just for the sake of it but I wasn't thrilled this time. I mean, the 2012 me was ecstatic when I heard that they brought back their Jumbo Cup promo.

I didn't not enjoy my drink.
Good thing my nephew liked it and drank all of it!

Can I tell you whose fault is it?

The reason why I'm over milk tea is because I'm so busy obsessing over Matcha.

Play video before reading the next line.

The best way to forget something/someone is to find a replacement a.k.a rebound.
JOKE OKAY.

Allow time to do the trick. You will discover something new sooner. Finding a rebound or immediate replacement is unfair. HAHAHAHA

And below is my food rebound:

Family Mart's Matcha Ice Cream. Link: here.
Obligatory ice cream picture.

Just because I find this twirl-all-you-can matcha ice cream so so so enjoyable and delicous that I keep coming back monthly, bi-monthly even,  to practice my skills.

From the super noob me last August, look at what I did when I went back last week. Definitely a  lot of improvement!

I'm not making it seem more enjoyable than it actually is or am I? Whatevs, the fact that I've "recruited" a lot of people into trying this ice cream too is cute. When we went to Family Mart last week, I bumped into a friend of mine and he told me that they were there since he got curious of the ice cream. Needless to say, I'm more influential than I think I am. Joke lang. Natawa lang ako talaga.

So there, 5 in 1 post.

Thank you:)

God Bless:)

Another Saturday well spent!

No one wants to be hit by a disaster but it's on times like this that you are able to see how selfless most people are.

These aren't all the donations because this is only one of the numerous repacking sites for Yolanda's victim but you just can't help but be  overwhelmed by the quantity of goods that are continuously being donated there.

I'd prefer to be in the field and be the one to give these relief goods to the victims but that's just not possible.

With two of my friends, we decided to spend some hours volunteering here at Red Cross in Quezon City Hall, Gate 5 (along Kalayaan avenue).

No need for scheduling.
Go there, log in then you're good!
We sorted out some donated clothes and then later on sorted out the canned goods too.

This may seem like a small thing but I really wish that the victims would feel the outpouring support other people are giving them.

The concern, the help, just about everything is stupendous.
Red Cross Quezon City Chapter Contact Details and Bank Accounts

P.S. I'm not even affected but whenever I read newspapers or online articles and watch news about all the help we are continuously given, I can't help it but be touched too. To our fellow Filipinos and the international community who have been donating a lot and have been showing their support and concern, thank you so much!! All your help- big or small- would definitely be an instrument in rebuilding another person's life.

Let us all help Yolanda's victims rebuild their lives.

I've been living comfortably without even realizing how devastating and how horrific these past three days were to those people living in the typhoon-hit areas of the country.

I knew about Haiyan, I knew that it was one of the most powerful typhoons in history, I knew about the storm surges that hit the land as if they were tsunamis, I knew the facts but it was only earlier this evening as I was watching a local television show that I finally felt how hard it was for them. The whole time the segment was airing I was trying my best to stop my tears from flowing but to no avail.
Post by Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho (One at Heart, Jessica Soho).

They need our help.
Rappler has combined all the possible donation options here.

1. If you are doing good financially then you may donate money.
2. If you don't have extra money to spare, look for old clothing or just about anything you can give away which you can drop off at those places accepting donations.
3. If both of these aren't possible, offer them your service and time by volunteering in places that repack relief goods.
4. If you can't, you may help by being the one to gather donations among your friends and families.
5. If none of the above is possible, why not offer them prayers? Prayers can move mountains. :)

I've donated some in World Vision and probably more tomorrow through BPI.
Please choose wisely. It pains me even more that some people actually take advantage of this situation and just pocket the donations.

Ma, just let go. Save yourself.
(Di mababaw ang luha ko and as much as possible ayokong umiiyak ako pero grabe, umiiyak ako ngayon.

Oo, meron tayong standards of morality.
Hay, I'm torn. I've been hearing news about people stealing things other than basic needs eh kaya hindi ko rin alam kung anong dapat kong isipin.

Kailangan ng MATINO AT EFFECTIVE na governing body and I hope, I really hope agad agad silang makagalaw.

Tahimik na lang and just find ways to help.

May God bless the Philippines more.
Sana maka-recover tayo ASAP.

I was never open to the possibility of studying abroad until last year when I was taking up my Elementary Korean II Class at the Korean Cultural Center in the Philippines.

I enrolled at KCC because watching Korean dramas is my hobby and I wanted to at least know the basic of their language. I ended up enjoying not only the language class but the rest of the Korean culture as well and that was reflected on my performance because I graduated as the top 1 student for that term.

During our classes, our Korean teacher would inject some information about Korea and I always found myself hoping that one day, I'd be able to experience everything firsthand too.

My exposure to Korean culture kind of "
infected" me with wanderlust that the idea of studying abroad suddenly became so enticing. But since I didn't know a lot about the opportunities for Filipinos to study and travel to Korea, there wasn't any progress regarding this so for more than a year now, that dream continues to be just a dream. But who knows, right? Maybe I am meant to go farther.

Unlike what happened to me, the lack of information shouldn't be the case for other Filipino students and Filipino aspirants who desire to study overseas specifically in countries like Australia, New Zealand, Canada, USA, and United Kingdom.

Are you dreaming of studying abroad?

Well then, take advantage of this chance to enhance your qualifications and learn more about the several opportunities in other countries by attending
the Philippines' biggest education expo: The World Education Exhibit 2013 where you can meet over 50 schools and universities from the above-mentioned countries.

This FREE expo is hosted by IDP Philippines, a student placement firm which was established in Manila in 1985. Their goal is to bring students closer to their dream of studying abroad by
offering assistance in visa processing, counselling sessions for prospective students and many more.

There's just so much potential in everyone of us that's why we should exhaust all possibilities to learn and improve ourselves as much as we can. And there's definitely even more in this world to explore and that's the reason why we should also travel as far as we can.

"If opportunity doesn't knock, build a door."
See you! :)
