It was because I've been to their West Avenue branch for many of times already that I wasn't expecting a lot for their newly-opened branch in The Atrium, SM Megamall. In my mind I was like, "Huhu. Sana lang may matcha ice cream then okay na ko kung walang bago!"

But I was surprised as soon as I entered Sambokojin, it was a big feast. If their Megamall branch is the first Sambokojin branch you'll get to try, the older branches, although the food are mostly the same, would be a bit disappointing.

Some of their sushi available.
Dessert area.
Grabe!!!! Nakakalula. HAHAHA! Naniniwala ka ba?? :)))
This one's new.
Soft-served Vanilla ice cream and Frozen Yogurt. Kakamiss din talaga ng frozen yogurt!
And what is the green-colored ice cream that I am seeing?! Why is it still there and not in my stomach?? Hahaha. Charot.
I love you forever, Sambokojin because of your matcha ice cream! Edi wow. hehehe.
Different kinds of soba that I wasn't able to try.

But I heard that their ramen is good.
Grilling time!!!
HULING HULI. HAHAHA!!
My lips are so pale and that means I kept on eating 'cause I had no time to re-apply my lipstick. hehe.
More food options.
It's not like I concentrated on taking pictures of the dessert area, it's just that my hands were always full every time I passed by the main course areas.
Pwedeng swan, pwedeng rabbit.
More options from the sweets/desserts section.
Also love that there are chocolate fountains.

I wasn't able to take pictures of all the sections but there are definitely a lot more.

The whole food area was like an open kitchen so being able to watch the chefs preparing your food is a delight in itself.

Hahahaha. Diet? Diet starts next month. Next month lang ng next month. ;)

See you again soon, Sambo SM Mega!! Dadayuhin ulit kahit malayo.
This is the current pricelist of Sambokojin, SM Megamall.
The options and their contact number below. Nakikita pa naman. ehehe

There will come a time when you'll get so bored you'll book a plane ticket to anywhere. Sosyalin na problema! Lakaaaaaaaas!!! Minsan lang naman 'to. Pagbigyan na ko. hehe.

But in all seriousness, although it hasn't really sunk in that I have gone to Negros Occidental last June, I am thankful for the four days that I spent there. We didn't have an itinerary and we weren't also able to see a lot of places but it was an unforgettable experience mainly because upon constructing my Negros posts, I remembered that taking part in the conservation of nature is an item in my 2015 wishlist.

Sabi ko and I quote, "Take part in anything related to the rehabilitation or conservation of nature."

So rather than posting a skeletal itinerary here like what I have always done, I'll just enumerate my posts about our Accidental Negros Occidental trip last June.

Mahirap bang intindihin, "Relax! Make love not war! I come in fish! (peace) ".... hahahaha!!!!

MORE MORE MORE (Lagot nawili na talaga. Haha!)

Thank You po.

One of the best stores where you can get pasalubong in Bacolod City is Virgie's Homemade Products store. Hahaha! This is funny because the reason why I am saying that this is one of the best stores is because this is the only store we have gone to. But seriously, no regrets. Di ko nasubukan 'yung iba pero sigurado ko, one of the best 'to.

Sobrang okay kasi na dito kami dinala. Top quality talaga rito. :)
Squid Rings!!!! Don't forget to buy this!!

If you're going there, bigyan mo ko pasalubong plez!!! Itong squid ring saka Napoleones nila. Huhuhu. Bet na bet ko kasi!!
Just some of the options...
YAYAMANIN!!!

HAHAHA.

This resort is in Talisay City, Negros Occidental. It is a newly-opened resort near Bacolod City. :)) Joke lang. I am not sure if this has recently opened, I just made that conclusion because construction is still ongoing. Hehe.

Anyway, if you're a tourist or a local in Negros Occidental and you're looking for a good and affordable resort, you might want to consider Campuestohan Highland Resort. For only P 150.00/person inclusive of pool usage, you get to stay here for a day.

We didn't have enough time to stay longer since our flight was also that evening but we still went here to take pictures because the view is really nice. Nakakabitin ka Negros pls! Sana makabalik. Hehe.

I thought that it would be cold since it's situated in a mountain but it wasn't chilly even if it was drizzling. Umasa na ko eh. Haha. Whatevs. As long as the mountains blanketed by clouds are there at the background and the panoramic view of Talisay City in front, I don't care about the temperature of the air. hahaha. ANORAW?!

Statues of anime characters and famous personalities decorate the area. Kering keri talaga pang-picture picture. MAPANLINLANG!!! Hahahahahaha.

For those residing here in Metro Manila/Luzon area:

We have Villa Alfredo's Resort in Pampanga and Amana Waterpark in Bulacan. These are okay places too minus the fog and mountainous background. Basically, resorts minus those two things that made Campuestohan more special to me.
This is what I am talking about. Iba. Huhu. <3
This Indian Village has cottages you can rent.
Nice, noh?
Aside from the anime statues, pools, playgrounds and colorful cottages, you have extreme attractions such as ziplines, rope trails, hamster ball, floating bike? I don't know what that is called but you're to bike on a rope. Mga ganyan. Lam mo na. Hindi talaga ko mag-explain. ;)
Just one of Campuestohan's pools.
Playground
Panoramic Picture from the hanging bridge
More attractions are currently under construction so expect a lot more from this resort.
Medyo bitin man ang stay, goodbye Campuestohan! G2G. :))

Searching for a restaurant in lower Antipolo? Fuze Resto Lounge is for you.

This restaurant (by day & night) and a bar (by late night) is a perfect place for a gathering of all sorts. :))))) Huhu. Pagbigyan ako ulit. :)) Anyway, it was a good day that turned not so good because before we started eating, I was bombarded with calls and texts so I lost my appetite. Oh, joke. 'Yun pa talaga malo-lost?! I just got annoyed for a while so it's fortunate that the food were great. I was able to get over my annoyance real quick. Alam mo na, pagkain. :))

To get here via commute:
Ride Cogeo-bound jeepneys or fx, alight at McDonald's after SM Masinag.
From McDonalds, you may ride a tricycle to Soliven Street. The drivers know where this is exactly located
Fuze Resto-Lounge offers mainly Chinese cuisine but staying true to its name, they also offer fusions of the different Asian Cuisines.
Beef with Brocolli
P 245.00
The balls and buns of the Hotpot Starter Set
P 799.00
The plate has Sea Urchin Bun, Cheese Fish Bun (the one I liked best!), Wonton, Crabsticks, Mushroom Balls, Beef Balls, Lobster Balls, Fish Tofu and Crab Roe Bun.
Fish Fillet in Mango Sauce
P 250.00

So glad that this is one of the sample dishes 'cause even if they would say that this is one of their bestsellers, I still won't order this as my viand. Why? Because mango sauce. I love mango so much that I don't dare eating it as my viand. Hahahaha! Joke. The flavor combination sounded weird to me at first but it surprisingly worked.
Aside from the balls and buns, the Hotpot Starter set has Sliced beef, Sliced Pork, Egg Noodles, Pechay Baguio, Pechay Tagalog, Dried Tofu, and Corn.

Our soup were Satay and Chicken.
This was the one I liked best of all the short orders we were able to try.

Buttered Chicken
P 220.00

The skin was really crispy while the meat was tender.
Butter pero hindi nakakaumay.

This was the first time that I've tried eating the balls and buns in a hotpot restaurant. Hahaha. Sa totoo lang. Weird that I've gone to a lot but I don't really eat the hotpot kasi hindi ako mahilig sa mga ganyang balls and buns but I'm so happy I tried. Hahaha. Sarreh. K. Sarreh. ;)
Hindi kasi ako into mga ganitong balls but I liked this a lot because of the cheese inside.
Crispy Lemon Chicken
P 220.00

What most people do after eating dinner is to look for a place where they can hold the "second round", right? Worry no more 'cause when you're at Fuze, you just have to go upstairs and enjoy hanging out here. The couches are cozy, many types of liquor are for sale, live band playing in the background... perfect, diba?
Fuze Resto-Lounge's operating hours and contact numbers.

Thank you, Aldous of
aldousatetheworld.com for organizing this event.

Thank you, Fuze for having us. <3

Because I found out that not all Gerry's Grill branches offer these Merienda Meals, iinggitin na lang kita. Hahaha. Uy oh, once upon a time, naka-kain kami ng merienda with drinks sa Gerry's for only P 99.00. So what are you waiting for?! Magiging ala carte na 'to in 3, 2... haha. Lakas maka-home shopping.

But in all seriousness, thanks to this budget meal that even if we were trying to reduce food expenses, we were able to skip eating in a fast food chain.

When they say that theirs is one of the best Pansit Palabok, they're not kidding. I really liked their version of Pancit Palabok  with a stick of chicken kebab, buttered bread, and a glass of iced tea... all for P 99.00 inclusive of tax and service charge. Hahahaha. Pero since hindi lahat ng branches e may ganito, good luck. Tara, fast food na lang ulit. :))

Ask people who are familiar with the famous restaurants and/or coffee shops in Bacolod, I am sure that Calea Pastries and Coffee is one that will always be said. I am saying this because whenever someone I know flies to Bacolod, it's not a surprise that he/she is going to post a picture similar to this. hehe. Ayan, nakikiuso lang naman ako. :)))
Here's a closer look of their cakes.
I would love to try everything out but... :) Maybe when I return.
Lakas naman maka-DSLR ng cellphone ko oh! May blurred background effect pa siyang alam. hahaha!

Calea's Blueberry Cheesecake
P 90.00/slice

It's my first time eating a cheesecake that has a nutty crust and I loved it. The slice is big for a P 90.00 cheesecake or it's probably because food in general is more affordable in Bacolod.

I finally understand why Calea's a must-try when going there.
I don't know where exactly is this located in Bacolod but you may ride a cab going here.  I think all taxi drivers would know where this is.

I had no idea about what's in Negros Occidental prior to booking our airplane tickets so we did a lot of research and naturally, we found a lot of attractions that are worth visiting but in the end ito talaga 'yung pinilit namin mapuntahan.

Even if it's not as famous as Dumaguete's Apo Island yet (na sana ma-visit ko rin soon), I am really glad that we read about Danjugan Island. It's one of the search results when you google "Where to go in Bacolod/Negros Occidental?" Buti na lang talaga.

First day at Danjugan link: here.

Here's what happened during our second day at Danjugan.

It was high tide in the morning so we were able to snorkel to our heart's content!

Here's where we slept with my signature disorganized things.

Open lang. You're going back to basic and they don't have electric fans here but it's okay, it was not hot.

I'm not really brave when it comes to ghosts and all so I had a difficult time falling asleep 'cause I kept on imagining someone peeking. But then, when I had fallen asleep, I didn't even heard that it rained because I slept well... which is usually the case naman.
The snorkeling gears of Danjugan are all package-inclusive.
Before we had dinner, I had a fun time watching these fishes because they looked like they were partying when the water level in the lagoon was slowly rising. See, those who partied all night were still sleeping when we woke up. I know that personifying these animals kind of sound weird but yeah, it's part of the experience or not. haha!
Before having our breakfast, we were taken to our first snorkeling spot. Huhu. Buti na lang high tide na! 'Yun pala 'yun, you'll appreciate snorkeling more on high waters.

I've tried snorkeling before but this is my first time seeing this much corals and fishes. You can say that it's probably because I haven't gone snorkeling for a lot of times but I'll say that the feeling's really different here. Edi wow. Ang gulo ko.
When you go reef walking with food in your hands, it's understandable why fishes would go close to you so I can't think of a possible explanation why this school of small fishes kept on encircling us while we were swimming. Whatevzzz or paki-explain pls?

Underwater video while snorkeling.
Dave, the island manager, showing us the giant clams/taclobo.
Underwater Selfie. Naman. Haha.
After having our breakfast, we decided to rest by kayaking in the Moray Lagoon.
A beautiful and blessed morning indeed!
Ito from Zambales, ito from Leyte." Yabang e noh. Joke lang. What I mean is kung napakaputi ko na noon, aba e mas maputi ako ngayon!
Then we rode the boat again and they took us to the twin peaks. Merong cliff sa ilalim which is about 50 feet deep.
I saw a lot of fishes but it seemed that I only took pictures of clown fishes.
 Orange and black clownfishes.
Hindi masyadong halata 'yung lalim pag sa picture lang but I felt scared at first swimming over this.
Someday I'll try scuba diving too. <3
Here they go again.
Encircling me as if I was the balyena predator. Hahaha!
Someday I'll be able to name a lot of fishes that I'll encounter while snorkeling. It's a bit embarrassing that the only names I could think of were, "'Yung isdang may sugat na nasa aquarium sa Finding Nemo." "Yung isa, parang giraffe 'yung itsura nung scales." "Yung isa parang bato" "Dory" and "Nemo"
Sobrang ganda.
My pictures didn't gave justice to this.
Galit talaga lahi nito sa'kin ah.

I was looking at them pero nagalit sa'kin at biglang lumangoy 'yang malaki nang mabilis paakyat, tas syempre nag-panic ako. Hahaha! Langoy din ako paatras na may kasamang sigaw eh. Ikaw, Nemo ah. Grabe. Stressbells.
Swam a little again at the sand bar before going back to the lagoon.

 Bye, Turtle Island!!
Bye our princess type tulugan.
'Yun 'yung butas na sinasabi ko oh, dun sa may bato. HAHAHAHA! Praning e.
I experienced new things and I definitely learned a lot from our overnight stay here in Danjugan. I really hope that more places in the Philippines would be developed as ecotourism sites that would be able to sustain the beauty and rawness of nature. Iba pa rin pag sustainable tourism and development eh, diba?

Bye Danjugan!! Sabi nga, "I would stay and love you but I had to go."

Babalik ako soon. Sana makabalik. Huhu. Black tip sharks, sana magkasabay tayong dumayo sa Danjugan someday. Huhu. :)))

 Take nothing but pictures.
Leave nothing but memories.
Kill nothing but time.
