Vietnam: Mekong Delta Tour and Souvenir Shops, HCMC

This is the second half of our Cu Chi Tunnels and Mekong Delta Day Tour in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam.

[Blog Link] Cu Chi Tunnel

I have no idea where exactly is this area 'cause I was asleep the whole bus ride from Cu Chi Tunnel.  But this is where we had our lunch, toured around for a bit and rode a boat at Mekong Delta as the finale of that day's trip.

Vietnamese Lunch

Until now, I'm still buying that rice wrapper though I just use roasted chicken as the filling. Sarap kasi.

After eating lunch, we toured around some souvenir shops.

We watched a cultural show while eating these sweet slices of fruits. Safe to say one of the sweetest fruits that I was able to eat until now. I never liked dragon fruit until I tasted those from Vietnam.

For the finale, Mekong Delta Tour.

Mekong Delta is a river that passes through six countries in South East Asia until it empties in the ocean. Thinking about that, it was a fun and kinda relaxing experience though the whole afternoon felt so touristy because of all the products being offered. But still a lot better than our experience in Tonle Sap, Cambodia. lol
