One thing that I found really convenient and time-saving is the fund transfer to anyone function of BPI's Mobile App.

I've done this a lot of times for a lot of different reasons. Hahaha. Kainis. Yayamanin ang peg. :))

There are three easy steps to follow for this:
Note: I've done the registration months ago so I got these screenshots and texts from BPI's Website. I hope BPI won't mind that I directly copied and pasted everything.

---

1. Login to the BPI Express Mobile app
2. Select More > Enable Transfer to Anyone
You would have to enroll each of your mobile devices to the service if you're using several gadgets to access your mobile app account. The maximum amount to be transferred is P 50,000.00 per day.

3. Fill in the required fields, choose your preferred activation option and submit the request.

If you choose Via Express Teller Machine, you will be asked to activate your request via any BPI ATM using the ATM card of the account you specified. Please do so within 5 days after filing the request.

    • Select Special Services > Activate Enrollments > Express Online
    • You will receive the activation code via email after 10 minutes.
----

If I can, I don't go to banks because I dislike forming lines so BPI's online appointment (web only) and fund transfers (mobile only for me) have been very helpful to me.

Online appointment is when you set your desired time of going at a BPI branch and wait for the Electronic Number to show on the screen when you get there. And if there's someone I have to pay or send someone money and that person owns a BPI Family or BPI Islands Account then I just do fund transfers. Fund transfers are also able to reload BPI Prepaid Cards.

It is also worth mentioning that until December 24, 2016, BPI mobile can be accessed without data charges for Globe, TM, Sun and Smart subscribers.

I've just checked ourselves in hence this post. Airasia Web check-in can be done 14 days to 1 hour before your scheduled flight.

Anong advantage ng Web Check-in?
Especially to those who travel light/ to those who don't check their luggages in, this is a great help 'cause you won't have to fall in line to get your boarding pass. If your checking your luggages in, you would still have to wait for the counter to open but your line would be shorter since it's exclusive for those who've also checked in online, pregnant, senior citizens... and based on experience, it's way shorter.

Pindutin 'yung web check-in. Log in tas check-in.
Supply the necessary information.
Pag within 14 days pa rin 'yung return flight, check-in mo na rin para isang beses mo na lang gagawin 'to.
You will be given the option to increase your check-in luggage limit, change your seats, etc before the check-in process ends.
If successful, you'll have your boarding pass ready to be printed or have it sent to your e-mail if you're not connected to a printer. But be sure to print the document because this serves not only as your boarding pass but your ticket as well.

May name, reserved seat number, booking number, destination etc.

For domestic flights, boarding gate opens 40 minutes before your scheduled flight.

Don't forget your ID.

Renewal fee:
P 100.00 but P 60.00 for students with I.D

Also,

I redeemed my points

And paid nothing for all these.

Sweet.

Almost P 500.00 ang laman nung card, with that amount I have spent almost or more than (there are times when I didn't bring my card with me) P 50,000.00 at National Bookstore for the past three years.

The card functions on rebate system that gives you P 10.00 for every P 1000.00.

I think Laking National Card has some other perks aside from this but those I don't know.

Tell me. :)

An old wives tail or an effective moisturizer?

There would be mixed responses when you try to search about that on the internet.

Here's my experience though.

Here's the feet that needed extra care tonight.

And they looked weird, had to pixelate them. haha.
Before going to bed, lather some petroleum jelly, massage feet and slip on socks.

I do this probably once to twice a month (when I remember to hahaha) but it's a practice that I've been doing for several years.

Yes, it somehow moisturizes the feet the next day but washing it off is a bother. It doesn't get off the skin right away. And I don't like sleeping in socks.
There is a cotton bud which I cut into two because this tub was for my eyelashes and lips.
 *Hygienic Purposes*
Just buy two small tubs of this if you're planning to use some for your eyes and feet.

I used this as lib balm (high school) and eye lashes moisturizer (since two years ago)

I sometimes apply this on my lashes before I go to bed.
I don't like the sticky feeling and the smell of it but I felt that I had no choice since I curl my lashes. Falling off is the last thing I'd want to happen and according to some, not only do this strengthens it also lengthens. It may have strengthened and moisturized my lashes, but no, I can't attest that it lengthened.

But I found an alternative to this in Human Heart Nature's Sunflower Oil, April this year so I hadn't been using it for months. Sunflower oil does a better job in making my eyelashes healthy and it's all natural! Yay.

So there, if you're researching about the effects of this that's why you've stumbled on this post.
I suggest that you try it out yourself, vaseline or petroleum jelly isn't that expensive.

We renewed my younger sister's Shakey's Supercard tonight so we dined in.

"Ma'am, i-c-claim niyo na po ba 'yung points ng card niyo?"
"Oo, tas ire-renew na rin."

Pagbalik nung kuya,
"21.00 pa lang po laman eh pero ibabawas pa rin po."

HAHAHA.
Ang dami ng tawa ko eh. (inside joke.k.)

Our usual pasta order
Baked Italian Sausage Penne Solo
(P 165.00)

 Pizza Castellana
P 317.00

This was recently introduced so it was our first time.
Spanish Chorizo, red onion strips, red pepper strips, cheese on a thin crust pizza.
It looks like pepperoni but it isn't, the slices were bigger.
This is good, a break from our usual Pepperoni and Manager's Choice order.

Lasagna
P 160.00
Another addition to their menu was this lasagna or they just recreated it?
I'm not aware.
But this one's also good, I love that they used mozzarella cheese.
And, mojos.
P 95.00
What more can I say about this?

So back to the Loyalty Card, despite it having just P 21.00 rebate for a year of using it, we still decided to have it renewed and paid P 300.00 for the renewal fee.

Why?

1. 10% discount for non-promo foods eaten in the resto
2. Rebate... that's a peso for every 100.00 (dine-in and take out)
3. a free large pizza on the cardholder's birthday

and the last but not the least

4. buy one take one pizza with free 1.5 L softdrinks and ice (delivery)

We seldom dine-in (just look at the rebate amount) but we frequent the delivery so renewing this card was a must.

Taking into consideration the discounts, free pizzas and softdrinks, I think paying P 300.00 for the card is really
sulit.

A number of people have asked me if I had my eyelashes permed, if I wear falsies, and/or I tightline everyday. I have no idea what tightlining is so it's an obvious no, I'm scared to have them permed and I don't know how to use falsies. I just curl my eyelashes whenever I go out and that's it. No mascaras and whatsoever 'cause I don't know how to apply make-up and I'm lazy to learn how.

I read about tightlining and eyeliners and that's probably the reason why I was lured to buy these eyeliners from Nichido when I was in Watson's this afternoon.  White and peach colored liners are supposed to brighten the eyes while the color black is often used for tightlining.

Girls Night Out Pencils cost P 80.00 each, while the black one costs P 36.50.

This is what my eyes look like after washing my face. I didn't put anything and eye lashes aren't curled yet.

One curled. See the difference?

Already tightlined the upper lashline.

Tightlining is supposed to make the lashes appear thicker and fuller because it fills in the gaps. Even if my lashes are already thick, you can see the difference, how much more for sparse eyelashes, right?

I used the black pencil to tightline, placed on the lash line or where lashes grow from. While the other two were used in my lower waterline. They're supposed to make my eyes brighter, aren't they?

It doesn't look like it in the picture but there were differences. The white eyeliner though had a stronger color, it would be visible. So for that "no make-up" look, I think peach would do a better job.

I decided to try lining my lower waterline with black eyeliner and the effect was more prominent. But I don't like it, I have my problem eyebags already and I feel that putting eyeliners on my lower waterline highlights them even more and the smudging gives me panda eyes. Well, I already have panda eyes to begin with. So really, no thanks.

And removing the liners are harder than putting them.

Lining indeed made my eyes pop and looks more fresh but I don't think that I'd be able to do this everyday. I'm just not that kind of person who would spend so much time applying make-up daily.
I'm happy with just powder, lip balm and curled eyelashes.

Nevertheless, this technique really works, I'd be doing this (upper lashline tightlining) on special occasions or whenever my eyes look tired .

The next activity that day was to try making a Quezon delicacy, NILUPAK.
First we harvested cassava from the backyard.

They peeled them for boiling.

Some were fried. These are kamote-fries.

After boiling, just soft and not soggy.

They're ready to be hand-milled. And this is not an easy task!

I kept on pounding the ingredients (kamote, sugar, condensed milk and peanut butter) hard for around ten minutes, I was perspiring like crazy from the hard work and my fingers were shaking after! good thing my nilupak didn't come out salty.. haha. LOL. It was still a fun experience anyway.

And this has got to be the best and tastiest and most sumptuous and most delicious and most delectable and finger-licking nilupak ever made! Of course I'm exaggerating, but the mere fact that it was I who hand-milled this makes it more special than anything else. ;)

EDIT OCTOBER 2015:

Finally applied for the new Postal ID the other day. :)

I went to Quezon City hall to claim my NBI Clearance (that I applied for online) and since I don't want it to be the only thing that I'll do, I decided to apply for the new postal ID. Andun na 'ko eh.

I took this picture last August.

What requirements did I submit?
Cristina. 20 something. Single. Resident of Quezon City

NOTE: NAKAKALOKAAAAAAAAAA! ;)

Have your documents photocopied beforehand.

* 1. Birth Certificate (NSO)
2. Passport (Any government-issued ID)
* 3. Barangay Clearance (or Police Clearance, NBI Clearance)

* Since I don't anymore have the receipt for these documents, the lady got the original copies. Bring your receipts so she'll only get the photox copy.

P.S For married persons, don't forget to bring your marriage certificate.

When you've submitted your requirements, you would then be asked to fill out the application form, and then proceed inside the office for the ID picture, biometrics, and signature.

The application was hassle-free (if you have all the documents needed) but expect your ID to be delivered at home in 1 - 2 months. Mej matagal, noh? But it's okay since I'll have another ID to use. Nga pala, this is now accepted in a lot of offices (ex. banks, companies, agencies) because of its new security features. Haaay, but still, I am wishing for the issuance of a national ID.

Postal ID Price - P 370.00
Delivery Fee - P 44.40

Total - P 414.40

One of my stress relievers is making my own distressed shorts. Destroying the shorts is a way to release my anxiety or frustrations. hehe. Aside from saving hundreds of pesos, I also do this to recycle my denim jeans that I don't use anymore.

I am content on how distressed this is for now 'cause several washing will make the frays longer and the holes bigger.

The things you need during the distressing process: Blade, Tweezer, Cardboard (I used styro), and a lot of patience.

Cut two parallel lines.
Using a tweezer, remove threads between the two parallel lines. This may take a long time 'cause you have to do it one by one.
This is the result.

On the other leg, I used the blade to make horizontal slits. Make sure to put something like cardboard in between so you'll not destroy the back part of the shorts.

Easy, right?
I don't want it to be over distressed so this is fine.

I also did the one of the two back pockets.

I never wore shorts when I was younger at times when I had to leave the house for I was so insecure.  Hmm, gone are the days when shorts are only for skinny girls 'cause as  I started wearing one, I realized that it doesn't look that bad and not masagwa even on my thighs that are well, fat. haha. And after experiencing how comfortable it is, shorts has become one of the staples in my closet. I don't wear those short shorts or what we call dangkal shorts here though. 'Yun eh hindi talaga kaya ng powers ko!
