Craving for unli ribs, tempura and wings? Here's one restaurant you should visit here in Quezon City. Maginhawa's Rib City.

Aside from their unlimited promo that is now "for keeps", you have these ala carte dishes that you can order.

For only P 458.00/person, you can avail of the unlimited tempura, ribs, wings, side dishes and drinks. Grabe, sulit na sulit! Halos presyo ng wings and ribs lang 'yang P 458,00 eh.

Look at those nacho toppings!

Loved how tender and flavorful their ribs are. Good thing it's unli 'cause one's not enough. :))

Sample of the sides. You'll have fries, pesto, mashed potato, macaroni salad, coleslaw, mushroom

Their wings.

Oo. Just friends.

I enjoyed looking at all the photos hung on their wall especially these below that are displayed on the second floor.

I'll take the ANG QT NG QC title anytime though instead of team bigatin but I'm always nasa side ng TEAM BIGATIN. Chos :))

After looking at the frames hung upstairs, we headed down and it was time for dessert.

We were served brownie ala mode, cheesecake with quezo de bola, and cheesecake with white chocolate sauce.

Cheesecake with white chocolate sauce was my favorite of all the three desserts. Take note that I am not into white chocolates so liking this was a surprise.

Woke up early for this! :))

There's something magical with watching the dolphins swimming around the boats you're riding. :)) Ewan, ansaya.

I've done and watched them before but this felt like the first time. Ewan. Nakakatuwa.

Watching the trained dolphins in a show (like that of San Diego's Sea World link: here) didn't feel special as much as watching them in their natural habitat. :))

This dolphin watching at Pamilacan island was our first itinerary for that day.

After watching the dolphins, we headed to Balicasag Island to do snorkeling. As you can see in the picture above, you'd pay P 400.00/head for the snorkeling. Second day activity with the dolphins, Balicasag, and Virgin Island's kind of not budget friendly. hahaha!

Exhausted from waking up early, I fell asleep at the boat and the next thing I know, Balicasag Island is right in front of us. As you'd notice, it was a gloomy day so the sea was kind of rough.

So upon registering, we road a paddle boat that took us to the snorkeling site.

Like the one in Danjugan Island, there's a "cliff" at this snorkeling site too. Since the sea was rough, it's expected that the wave at this part is a bit rough as well which made snorkeling and free diving quite hard. :( Huhu. It was hard to swim around with current that strong especially when I can't even see what's below since it was really deep.

Strong current concerns aside, it's a great snorkeling/scuba diving/free diving spot especially if you're brave enough to swim past the underwater cliff.

It was so hard for me to have my photos taken HAHAHA

But underwater photo is underwater so whatever. :))

If you're doing this, please bring extra money for you have no choice but to eat at the island and it's kind of expensive. Wooo, bigat mo sa bulsa ha, Bohol tour. Nyahaha

Review of Karaoke Republic, Diliman, South Triangle link: here.

These days we frequent Cubao because of Cubao Expo (Bellini's etc.) and Manhattan Parkview. Aside from Bengal Brew Pet Cafe, we've also been to this Karaoke place - Karaoke Pop. HAHAHA

Purchase your travel essentials here

While there are packages readily available for groups of 5, 10, 15 (website: here), you can also go there as time charge. Meaning that's 40 pesos/person/hour every 12:00 - 7:00 PM. That's what we availed. Yep, friends, spent P 80.00 just so I could channel my inner Kim Bok Joo.

Karaoke Pop Cubao Rate

Close-up shot of their rates.
Buti na lang nadaanan namin 'to. Tagal na namin naghahanap ng KTV.

The place is fairly new.

Karaoke is operated using a tablet and the mics have disposable covers. The soundproofing is good, lights can be dimmed, privacy is okay. And hello, it's in Araneta. GOOD AFTERNOON, ARANETAAAAAAAA!!!! Channeling my inner Anne Curtis din pala. AHAHA! :))

The 40.00/80.00 rate isn't consummable but you can order your drinks and food too.

We also had a visitor that day. lolz. Justin Bieber was the wall art of our room. Not sure with other rooms though.

... and if you think that I'm still holding on, you should go and love yourself.

With the right people, karaoke session can be so so so so so destressing!! Babalik talaga kami, Karaoke Pop!

Sorry, di ko natiis. Nagselfie selfie talaga ko kasama si Justin.

Selections are pretty wide. There are Filipino, English, Japanese, Korean and Chinese songs there. Just wish there's uniformity in the input of the songs so it's not hard to search using their names. Pa-request din po ng LOST STARS PLEASE. :)))

Here's Bengal Brew, Cubao's pet cafe and the first that I was able visit.

It's named Bengal Brew so you'd expect that it's a cat cafe but they have dogs... and the dogs are the reason why I went there but on almost all the pictures I have, they were ignoring me. :))

Even though I love dogs (My friends and I used to volunteer for PAWS), I wasn't keen on visiting pet cafes since our household have eight dogs already. But, you know, it wouldn't hurt to try and visit one. Especially when it's husky, samoyed, malamute, newfoundland, etc. that we're talking about.

First-timers are asked to paid 100.00 for the a one year membership fee on top of the 199.00 (one hour access) or 299.00 (two hours access). I wasn't able to take a picture of their menu but aside from these drinks, they offer cakes and snacks too.

We breezed through the cat area 'cause I wanted to immediately see the dogs but they weren't in the mood. Nap time. haha. Better come early. They open at 2 PM and closes at 11 PM.

After spending time with the dogs, we went upstairs to have our drinks. The smaller dogs are also in the second floor.

First timers have a slice of free brownies too.

I sat on this part before realizing that this dog needs to pass by this side to get to its bed. Ang kontrabida ko ba, doggy? haha. Siya 'yung pinaka-tumatahol dun sa mga dumadaan na tao lalo na aso sa labas tapos pag relax na siya, babalik na siya sa trono niya, which means aapakan niya ko para makadaan ALL THE TIME. Long cut palagi. Hahaha

Hihi. I'll be back, Bengal Brew! One year membership ba naman eh.

#pet #dog #cat
