Don't argue with people who can't admit they're wrong.

HAHAHA!

Social interaction has been pretty exhausting for me lately; it's taking a toll on me. 'Yung feeling na abusado lahat ng nasa paligid. 'Yung feeling na kaya ka lang naaalala kasi may kailangan sila? Hahaha! lolz.

Pero hindi 'yan. Mas nakaka-upset pa rin 'to.

'Cause for people who can't admit (or realize) their mistakes, they will never be wrong. You can never get your point across because when you try, your mistakes (that are totally out of context) will be dug and the situation will instantly aggravate. The person would never understand your point, will try to put the blame on you and will try to condescend you - kasi wala nga naman siyang ginagawang mali. Edi wala. In times of challenges like this, I really wish I can be the bigger the person and not mind all the negativity.

Well, hell yeah, I am. Char. :))

Everyone commits mistake.
Everyone waste something at one point.

I don't really care about mistakes 'cause the reason I stood up because that person was already being disrespectful. Hay, tapos ako na naman? 'Yung mga sugat ko na naman? 'Yung mali ko na naman? Bakit?

Buhay ko 'to. Oh well, ano ba inaasahan ko?! Wala ka namang nagawang mali. Haaaay!

An entire sea of water can’t sink a ship unless it gets inside the ship. Similarly, the negativity of the world can’t put you down unless you allow it to get inside you.

A decade ago, I was totally different.

Gone was the girl who tried hard to be accepted by others. The girl who doesn't know what she wanted and just went with the flow. She told people dreams that she never really had just because she thought those were cool - and 'cause, at least she had to say something when people ask.

Overtime,

Priorities changed. Mindset changed.

People change. I know I did.
I don't try hard to be accepted 'cause I realized that people who truly care about me will accept me no matter what. I know the things I want and I focus on those so I have no energy to deal with other unnecessary stuff. I know that no one's going to work for the things I like so I've learned to do them myself.

I'm okay. I'm a work in progress but I've never been better. Yes. There are a lot of uncertainties but what doesn't?

Remember,
You are not a failure just because you're no longer pursuing a dream you've outgrown.

Some people will judge and will never understand me and that's okay 'cause right now, I'm holding onto my life's gold and that's what matters most. This is my definition of success at this point of my life and I'm 100% fine with this.

Tayo na lang talaga, blog. 'Yung walang panghuhusga, 'yung walang sumbat, 'yung tatanggapin kahit maraming pagkukulang.

"What really matters? What's really important? Why bother? Who cares? What's it all for?

You, Cristina, it's all about you.

What you like and dislike.
What you and and don't want.
What makes you smile and laugh.
What makes you learn and grow.

Selfish?
How else could you shine your light? How else could you possibly hope to lift the world? How else could you be all that we dreamed you might be?

Selfish of me,
Universe"

Salad Bowl offers a lot of food options that are not only healthy but creatively conceptualized as well. One of those rare times when I get to eat a lot without that bloated feeling. Eating greens doesn't have to be boring and Salad Bowl offers exactly that - from the mix of flavors that will satisfy your palate to the mix of colors that will satisfy your sight.

Everything tastes as good as it looks!

---

I watched a documentary and the host said that one of the indicators of a healthy meal is if what you're having is colorful without the need of putting food color. If what he said deems true, then Salad Bowl food items are definitely all healthy. Just look at the colorful dishes!

I'll be sharing with you photos of all the food that we were able to eat that night.

Sili Sticks
150.00

Their version of dynamite was really good because it wasn't spicy.  For someone like me who can' eat spicy food, this is our time to try eating dynamite! lolz

Smoked Fish Barrel
P 199.50

This got all of us curious especially since we wanted to find out the filling that is in the tomato. Turned out it's smoked fish bits in cream.

Vegetable Lasagna
P 280.00

I always heard people telling me about eggplant lasagna but the combination weired me out until I got to try one in Salad Bowl. Well, the layers worked that this easily became on of my favorite dishes that night.

Chicken Inasal Wrap
P 260.00

Truffle Bacon, Beef and Cheese Wrap
P 390.00

Both wraps are also interesting but I liked the truffle bacon more probably because it's unique and there's a play of other flavors.

Smoked Salmon Pasta
P 295.00

Cream based pasta with smoked slamon flakes. I love how light the taste felt but was very filling.

Grass Fed Burger

P 275.00

The yolk on this one was perfect. I love how it's open faced and that I was able to eat a very delicious burger without that guilt feeling.

Barbecue Chicken Salad
P 280.00

Japanese Corn Sesame Salad
P 350.00

Chicken Arugula Pesto
P 280.00

This one above caught my attention especially when I tasted the sauce first - it was bitter. I initially thought that I encountered a dish that I didn't like until I paired the sauce witch the slice of chicken it came with and other greens on this plate. Man, the flavors worked very well that everything just complimented the bitterness of the pesto sauce.

Grilled Beef Tomahawk
P 4,000.00

Best eaten when shared.

Of course, finishing a 1kg of beef above is impossible. Unless well, you're like me who posted the picture below on Facebook and then my friends found it harder to believe that this is a shared meal. -_- Hahaha.

With sliced of vegetables and potato wedges with that 1kg medium rare steak... what more can I ask for?

While Kawasan Falls is what usually comes to mind when you think of a falls in Cebu, Tumalog is also well-known especially as a side trip coming from the Whale Shark Watching area and/or Sumilon Island.

Canyoneering in Cebu

The jump off to Tumalog is a short ride away from the whale shark watching area. You have two options to get to the falls, one is to trek there and the second one is to ride a habal-habal.

The falls is huge and tall. One foreigner told me that Tumalog falls is more beautiful than Kawasan falls.

It's rare that you can go directly under the fall 'cause usually but since it's just rain drops here in Tumalog, it's okay. The basin is also not that deep as you can see in the picture above. I'm 6 feet, btw. JOKE. Isang malaking joke hahaha.

After whaleshark watching, the usual sidetrip is the nearby Sumilon Island - known for it's white sand and sandbar. There's also a high-end resort at this island but I'm not talking about that...

It was almost noon when we arrived in Sumilon.

It's a beautiful island made more beautiful by the color of the water surrounding it. It's like a gradient blue/all shades of blue.

Purchase your travel essentials here

The waves though are kind of strong at some part of the island though not the "you can surf" kind of waves.

It was nearing lunch time so we looked for a place with shade.

There really isn't much to do here aside from appreciating the beautiful view. I used to be excited with sandbars. But I think after seeing Leyte's Kalanggaman Island,  not anymore... or maybe.. some other place.

Don't have a lot to say about this place so just look at my pictures. lolz.

Stobosa Artwork

La Trinidad Route can include Tam-Awan Village, Strawberry Farm, Stobosa Artwork, and Bell Church. You may hire cabs but there are jeepneys plying here so just ask around.

But ayoko sa masikip. Hahaha #nightmarket #baguio #street #travelph #lostinph

It was Sunday night when we went here. The night market along Harrison street started at 10 PM.

I usually go to SM Baguio for that overlooking spot but the parking area in Baguio Cathedral is a good picture spot too. The picture above was taken there.

These landmark replicas were the best discovery of Baguio 2017. :)))

In just one hour, we were able to go around Japan, Korea, China and USA. <3

Travel Goals. hehe. Someday! :D

Hi dawg!!! :)) Can't resist taking pictures with this cutiepie eventhough two shots costs 50.00. haha. Sana lang worth it 'yun sa maintenance nitong St. Bernard na 'to.

You want one but can't go to Baguio?

You may go to Bengal Brews in Cubao link: here.

Baguio Brewery! <3

But I loved this more though. I'll choose these beers especially 'cause they're drank with view overlooking Baguio. Haha. Would love to be back!

'yung kahit pareho lang naman pinupuntahan, babalikan pa rin😂❤ #baguio #travelph #lostinph #nature #cordillera

Tambobong vs. Patar?

I'll choose Patar over the former at any time. :( Lower your expectations when you decide to go at this part of Pangasinan especially if you're from Manila. Being in Manila means the travel time's gonna be 6-8 hours to Tambobong.

Patar Beach and Bolinao Lighthouse link: here.
Hundred Islands, Alaminos, Pangasinan link: here.

We're done with Zambales, and they're done with Bataan so we decided to go to Pangasinan this time. We saw pictures of white stretch of beach in google and in other blogs so we were kind of excited for Tambobong.  hahaha.

No reservations. We just headed to Pangasinan and decided to look for cottages there that offer the least expensive accommodation since it was just a day tour for us anyway.

Budget-wise, this is a good place especially if you're coming in group. I don't really know. Was it just a bad day or was it a wrong spot in Tambobong, all I know is that the place didn't do justice to whatever other people wrote about it.

Ako kasi nag-decide kung saan kaya affected ako e. :)))

Some of my companions we're okay about it though but I wasn't.

Maybe it's just me being picky and all but don't go there if:

you hate beaches with seagrasses
you don't like swimming with jellyfishes (lol if that was the non-stinging jellyfish, I would have swam all day)

I was told that it's because of the rain that there were a lot of seagrasses by the shore. Hmm, I just don't like the sensation of swimming with seagrasses. And one time, I was wearing goggles. I had a mini heart attack when I saw a jelly fish swimming towards me. HAHAHA.

This is how I beach. Thanks, Nestea for this beach sofa! ahahha

The stretch of Tambobong is long, look for the resort with least seagrasses to experience what other call, "Boracay feel".

I guess the only time that I'll be promoting Tambobong is when you like to visit the nearby island because that saved this whole trip.

There's a nearby island which is almost 30 minutes away from Tambobong. I guess people just hashtag Tambobong whenever they're on that island too.

So if you find yourself in Tambobong and can't seem to like the place (like myself), don't miss out on the island hopping 'cause it's where the white sand is. :3
