A heaven for plant lover that won't definitely break the bank.

This post may be a little bit late 'cause there were probably a lot more plantita/plantito looking for plant suppliers/sellers during the pandemic compared to present but I wasn't actively blogging back then so I'm only posting this now.

If you're looking for affordable plants, garden soil, rocks, or any thing that's related to gardening or landscaping then you might want to check Violeta Village in Guiginto, Bulacan. Just type Violeta Village in your Google Map or Waze App and this is very easy to locate.

Plant lovers heaven, isn't it?

Just have to bring lots of patience especially on your first time 'cause going around the stores takes time and is a bit tiring. Buong village ba naman e tindahan.

Hydrangeas

We don't buy this though but this is one of my favorite plants to see there.

South Korea: Taejongdae (태종대)Resort Park, Busan

Wala naman ako masyadong sasabihin tungkol sa lugar na 'to. Ni-upload ko lang for reference kung sakaling may naghahanap ng mga murang halaman o naghahanap ng tungkol sa Violeta Village.

We buy this frequently though. The last time we went there, it was P 70.00/plant for these Philippine roses.

I am not greenthumbed nor I am able to keep a plant alive so we often go there to buy some roses.... for me to kill eventually. HAHAHA. But yeah, there's this one plant that we bought there way back 2020 and it's still alive up to this day.

I can't keep a plant alive but I enjoy looking at gardens filled with flowers so I'm always delighted to visit this place even if we don't purchase a lot.

By the way, this place is also pet-friendly.

This is our go-to coffee shop for whenever we want to feel mountain breeze.

It's a no-frills coffeeshop. Just straight up coffee (matcha in my case), chairs and tables, and overlooking view. There's also a restroom and parking spaces.

May not be for everyone but we're good with this especially since we can bring our pets with us. No need to bring permits or vaccination records etc.

A good enough matcha for its price and the view. I forgot how much this was.

I haven't tried going there on a weekend but I heard that it gets packed especially during sunsets.

I think around 4:30-5:30 PM is the best time to go here. Earlier would be hot since it's an open space without electric fan and later would mean you might miss the sunset if that's what you're going for.

Sunset while overlooking Metro Manila.

This has been in my backlog for a year now. Mabilis ko na-post considering I have several backlogs from 5 years ago. Haha! Those probably won't make it here in my blog. Anyway, when we visited, it was still prohibited to remove facemasks but I have some photos without mask 'cause pasaway like that. Sorry, Pinto. 😛

Kulay Rosas ang bukas🌹🌹🌹

Visited a few days before the presidential elections. Oh, those were the days.

Let me just show you some photos from the art museum 'cause it's really difficult for me to say things about art appreciation. HAHAHA!

For the several times that I've visited the National Museum, I've always have goosebumps visiting that room filled with caskets and burial jars but I didn't feel that here. Probably because of lighting.

Wishing on the wishing well that someday sa Trevi Fountain na ko magwi-wish. Luh

Pinto Art Museum is wide and you would really need the map they provide as a guide. It was scorching that afternoon so we definitely weren't able to go to all the exhibits and places here.

For the aesthetic? Yes.
For art lovers? Definitely.

Hindi po talaga ko maalam sa art pero keri lang. Museum ay musuem. HAHAHA

Photos from our room in Azalea Hotel in Boracay.

The location is not beachfront but it's a station of the Hop On, Hop Off bus.

It was comfortable sleeping here. Our room was spacious and there's a sofa set as well.
There's a veranda facing the street but it's not noisy at all.

Our room had a kitchen. I think most of the rooms do although we didn't use it since we ate all our meals outside. This a good room inclusion if you're the type who rather cook than eat out or if you want to save money since restaurants in Boracay especially those facing the beach can be really expensive.

Towels and bathroom supplies are included in the room rate. The water pressure of the shower was good as well.

This hotel has a rooftop pool and a Kuya J restaurant beside the lobby. Overall, it was a comfortable stay. My favorite thing is it being a bus station since we didn't have to walk far in order to wait for the bus. lol

We went here after having our breakfast in one of the restaurants in Station 3. When we looked at the Google Map for directions, it was only a 13-minute walk and so we walked. Hahaha. We failed to take into consideration our speed and the heat back then so it was kind of torturous. If I were to go here again, I'd rather pay P 50.00 for the multicab fare.

It's not a huge place and I think that it's better to go here early in the morning or late in the afternoon in order to appreciate this place more. We weren't able to enjoy, tbh 'cause we got so tired from the walk and it was almost 12 and the sunshine and heat was too strong.

For a change of view since not a lot of people have gone here yet, I think it's worthwhile to go here especially if you'll not walk from White Beach. Haha!

We had no photos together at this place since there wasn't anyone else that time and we couldn't just place our camera/phone and risk them falling down the mangrove. haha!

There weren't multicabs on standby and we waited for a long time but no one was passing. Still, we couldn't bring ourselves to walk so waited until Kuya Habal passed by and asked us if we want to backride his motor. It was a unique experience since I haven't ridden a motorcycle for a long time. We decided to go back to our hotel and rest a bit before continuing our sightseeing 'cause we got drained on our walk going here. Tumatanda na talaga...
