Japan 2019: Observation Room of Fukuoka Tower

The entrance fee to the tower is 800 Yen per person but we've already purchased tickets from Klook at a lower price before going here. All we did was to show the QR code to the lady at the ticket booth and she handed us our tickets immediately.

First Time in Japan: Northern Kyushu Itinerary, Expenses and Travel Tips (From Hakata in Fukuoka)

All the sightseeing towers in Japan. Tokyo's Skytree is the tallest tower in all of Japan but Fukuoka Tower is the highest seaside tower with a height of 234 meters.

360 degrees viewing deck so you can look at the ocean and the buildings of Fukuoka.

Going around the whole observation room area didn't consume a lot of time but we had to form our line at the picture spot so spend quite a long time in the tower.

The main attraction inside the tower is this corner for your Instagram goals. :)) We formed our line for at least an hour just so we can take photos here.

Worth the wait though. Andun na lang rin naman.

Nice view of the city lights/skyline of Fukuoka plus the galaxy-like light splatters  (below) and small starts (top) make this shot look more beautiful.

The tower is located on a seaside. If we followed the initial plan and arrived here earlier, walking at the shore was actually a great idea too. We weren't able to do that since we arrived a bit late.

The tower is not that huge but it is definitely an ideal place to get a glimpse of Fukuoka skyline. I paid for this VR telescope (whatever you call this) and I instantly regretted paying. HAHAHA!

One of the interesting features of Fukuoka especially Hakata area, is the bridges. I enjoyed walking along the rivers and on the bridges 'cause it felt so "Japan" I don't know if I'm making sense here but I hope you understand what I meant. :)))

Locks for couples

We visited Uminonakamichi Seaside Park the morning before Fukuoka Tower. Back then, we didn't realize yet that our face got sunburned from the long walk at the park but my discolored nose is already visible from the photo above.

Anyway, this is a picture place for couples. I believe you're both supposed to touch the heart and it'll light up.

A place to encounter sky and sea if only we were a little bit early to actually see the sea.

LED light show of the Fukuoka Tower.

There's a bus station across the building so going and leaving isn't difficult.
