So there are two Wynn Hotels in Macau. The one in Macau (old) and this one in Cotai Strip. I'll be blogging about the other hotel in my next posts... :)

For that afternoon, our itinerary were the hotels in Cotai Strip. You usually don't see this being photographed a lot since this is at the back side of the strip and for some people, the cable car isn't really that of a "sight to see." For us though, we were looking forward to the cable car ride.

While there is a shuttle bus route that will take you around the hotels in Cotai, we decided to walk 'cause we still passed through and took photos at the different hotels there. When we reached the building, the water fountain show was already happening but we weren't sure if we could afford the cable car ride so we stood there watching the fountains for quite a time.

And we were like... OKAY. Once in a lifetime. Magbayad na lang tayo. :)))

But as soon as we approached the lower station of the cable car, it turns out to be a complimentary ride for people going to the hotel. WHAT?! HAHAHAH

It was a fun short ride. There weren't a lot of people yet but you have to share the cabin with other people going to the hotel. On our way back down though, we didn't have other people with us so we were able to take photos.

We just took photos inside and looked for designs like this. :))

In Las Vegas, Wynn has one of the most beautiful interior design with all the flowers and you can see bits of those in Wynn Palace.

Las Vegas, Nevada: Las Vegas Strip Hotels (North)

I was looking at the pool back then kinda wishing that I'd be able to stay in one of the Wynn Palace hotels and just last year, I was able to go back to Las Vegas and stayed at Wynn for three days. Just that, I was too busy to use to the pool.

Anyway, the photo above was taken on a different day 'cause we decided to go back for Starbucks.

This was on our last day in Macau and we didn't want to spend it walking around 'cause we've been doing that for the past four days already. Just so happened that out of all the places we went to, this Starbucks was the one we wanted to go back to... 'cause... we still had enough money. Hahah! Turns out that touring Macau was not so expensive as long as you won't gamble all your funds.

One of the unique Starbucks we were able to visit 'cause it looks like a fancy palace. Probably adjusted 'cause it's located in Wynn.

While there's already a bus stop at Wynn, we decided to ride the cable car for the last time and then walked to MGM. That bus took us near Taipa and then we walked back to Macau Inn Hotel.

PS. I was able to go back to Macau last year as well but it was in July. I liked March weather more 'cause it's easier to tour around when it's not too hot. During our March travel (the time when these photos were taken), we had to wear a light jacket because it got chilly at times especially when we go near a body of water.

This is near Pratunam Shopping area so you can spend the day shopping at the flee market and then proceed to the hotel before sunset for dinner.

[Klook Link]  Bangkok Sky Dining Buffet in Baiyoke Sky Hotel's 76th & 78th Floor

I heard that this place gets packed on some days so good thing that there weren't a lot of people yet when we arrived. This is the highest hotel in Bangkok and the price for the buffet is not that steep so a lot of people (both locals and foreigners) come here.

I didn't pay much attention at all the food items from the buffet but since there were a lot of seafood and sashimi options, then it was good enough.

Good enough, for me, at least. I remember eating mango sticky rice there and it was delicious too.

The feeling's kinda like Macau Tower since you're also seeing the panoramic view of Bangkok from where you're seated in the restaurant.

After eating, we went to the 84th floor of the building for the Rotating Viewpoint/Viewing deck.

The rotating viewing deck wasn't huge so you won't need a lot of time when you're there. Actually one full 360 degrees turn might be good enough - just to see the view and take some photos.

What was more interesting was the gallery before entering the viewing deck because it display a lot of photos taken from different areas of Bangkok.

But yeah, since it's Thailand's Tallest Building and the food from the buffet were delicious then I can suggest going here when you're in Bangkok.

This is the second half of our Cu Chi Tunnels and Mekong Delta Day Tour in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam.

[Klook Link] Cu Chi Tunnels and Mekong Delta Day Tour from Ho Chi Minh

[Blog Link] Cu Chi Tunnel

I have no idea where exactly is this area 'cause I was asleep the whole bus ride from Cu Chi Tunnel.  But this is where we had our lunch, toured around for a bit and rode a boat at Mekong Delta as the finale of that day's trip.

Vietnamese Lunch

Until now, I'm still buying that rice wrapper though I just use roasted chicken as the filling. Sarap kasi.

After eating lunch, we toured around some souvenir shops.

We watched a cultural show while eating these sweet slices of fruits. Safe to say one of the sweetest fruits that I was able to eat until now. I never liked dragon fruit until I tasted those from Vietnam.

For the finale, Mekong Delta Tour.

Mekong Delta is a river that passes through six countries in South East Asia until it empties in the ocean. Thinking about that, it was a fun and kinda relaxing experience though the whole afternoon felt so touristy because of all the products being offered. But still a lot better than our experience in Tonle Sap, Cambodia. lol

My favorite thing about blogging is whenever I read my previous posts ('cause I'm linking them to the current post that I am constructing) and then remembering that what I am writing about at present is something I once hoped for. Wooo k walang hingahan 'yung napakahabang sentence. Hahaha!

[Klook Link] Universal Studios

Universal Studios Singapore link: here.
M&M's World, Las Vegas, USA link: here.
Hershey's Chocolate World, Las Vegas, USA link: here.

Anyway, we didn't enter the Universal Studios theme park anymore and decided to just walk around Sentosa that afternoon.

Batam, Indonesia Tour from Singapore link: here.

We headed straight to Sentosa from Batam. We left our luggage at Harbourfront Ferry Terminal for the whole afternoon while touring around Sentosa.

This is Sentosa's Merlion.
I believe you can climb up to its mouth for a fee but we didn't come close to it so I don't know how it looks like up close.

This is what you'll see from the third station of the train that runs from Vivo City to Beach Station but it's actually just walking distance even if you alight at Waterfront Station. We only stayed here for a bit and walked to the Universal Studios entrance.

EDIT JANUARY 2020: It was announced that this Merlion Plaza will be/was demolished to make way for new construction/attraction in the area.

There's no M&M's World here like the one you'll find in Las Vegas and New York but as for the Hershey's Chocolate World, the chocolate options and pricing are similar but their branches in the States have more "art pieces" just like the Statue of Liberty that is made from chocolate.

You'll find the regular Hershey's chocolate and these bars above that are perfect Singapore souvenir for people who love eating chocolates - may be a bit pricier compared to the grocery but this is a tourist attraction so you also kinda pay for the place... like most of the times.

You have the option to mix and match kisses chocolate if you don't want to settle for the prepacked ones.

Before we went out the store, someone approached me and asked me to answer a survey. In return, he gave me a chocolate bar which was more delicious from all the chocolates I bought. Haha. Wanna know why? 'Cause it's free. Hahaha!

Can't miss taking photos with this one.

Reese's is my favorite among the three. <3

Took photos with the Universal Studios globe although there were too much people that I always have others in the background of my photos. You only pay entrance fee once you enter the theme park but for this place and the shops, there's no entrance fee.

We transferred to Candylicious, which is obviously a store for candy.

Their version of M&M's World inside Candylicious.

The tubes of M&M's are my favorite part about this shop. Lol. That's mainly because I'll take chocolates over candies anytime.

More souvenirs from this store. Kinda expensive but yea, if you want to get something that is "very Singapore" then this is a good place to shop.

Lake of Dreams

I believe that there's a light and fountain show here at night. Didn't have anything special though that afternoon but probably worth the coin toss if all the dreams you'd whisper in this Lake of Dreams will eventually come into fruition.

So there, these are only some of the places you can visit in Sentosa if you do not want/ don't have enough time to go inside Universal Studios.

If you're crossing border to Indonesia when you're travelling in Singapore then you'd also be leaving SG from Harbourfront.

Below is what we experienced during our "border crossing" for a 1N2D stay in Batam Island, Indonesia.

You can secure/purchase tickets beforehand but you can also buy onsite.

[Klook Link] Batam Fast Round Trip Ferry Tickets (Harbourfront Terminal Departure)

It's easy to get here since Harbourfront has its own MRT station so even if you have all your luggage with you then travelling to the Ferry station won't be that much of a problem.

Our ferry schedule was to leave at 8 AM. All the instructions were in the voucher so all I had to do was present my voucher and exchange it for the ferry tickets.

Passing through both immigration (Singapore exit and Indonesia entry) was a breeze since a lot of people do this. You can opt for a day tour but we decided to stay the night just so we can enjoy Batam more.

In the immigration counter, we were only ask about the length of our stay and that's it. There's also a currency exchange counter in the terminal so we had our Singaporean Dollars exchanged to Indonesia Rupiah before starting the tour.

The next day, we were dropped off again at Sekupang Ferry Terminal 'cause we had to catch the ferry back to Singapore.

There is a mall opposite the ferry terminal and they're connected via bridge way. You can find a lot of stores there and I noticed that a lot were on sale. Just make sure you have enough Indonesian Rupiah with you.

The ferry wascomfortable and the sea wasn't rough in from and to Singapore.

We then passed through the immigration of Singapore again in Harbourfront. There's also a luggage center here that you can pay if you plan to go around Universal Studios or Vivo City Mall before going back to your hotel.
