Here are pictures from Real and Infanta's New Little Baguio area.

This place became really special to me not only because those three days we spent there were all filled with laughter, tears (HAHA!), and talks about making sense of our lives. But because, it was raw - it was nature at its finest; a place free from commercialization with nature taking care of us since day one.

Little Baguio isn't a famous tourist spot but it is a well-known place for motorcycle riders.

For day one, it was a foggy and cold day. The real Baguio lost me in this, iba talaga pag nature. I've always loved fogs and clouds, in this matter, Little Baguio gave us a lot.

The banner picture that I have in this blog was taken there.
It was gloomy yet so beautiful. Haha. And we had the whole place for ourselves! There aren't a lot of residents in the area so they knew all of us in just three days.

It was last December when we went there and the weather for day 1 and 3 were perfect for my preference.

According to a resident, fog clears up at noon. And she was right, it really did.
Sunlight finally!

But this only lasted for around a three hours.
Then we bought buko and Kuya told us to go up this viewing area because buko would taste a lot better when drank from where I took this picture. HAHA. Yes for a P 20.00 buko enjoyed in a priceless view.
This was our view...
That hiway is called MaRiFanta Hiway. It goes straight from Marikina to Infanta, Quezon. There are no public transportation so this place can only be reached by private vehicles.

No wonder only motorcycle riders frequent this place.
Viewing Deck inspired by Baguio's Mines View Park.
Only a lot better because you'll be seeing mountains, forests, and clouds not houses. :))
Then we decided to go up the mountain to see a better panoramic view of the area. It was so windy here we couldn't take decent photos of us.
Sobrang ganda.

I've always loved the feeling of being one with the clouds.

It was like Mt. Pulag camp site all over again without the pagod.
This is Jariel's Peak (search them on Facebook), one of the few restaurants in the area, they serve exotic food there.

I ate my first Hainanese Chicken meal in Singapore. Back there, the meal wasn't one for the books but it definitely made me want to try other restaurants serving Hainanese Chicken.

Anyway, most of the restaurants I've gone to didn't even make it to my Instagram account but Wangfu made it twice. My first time in their Il Terazzo branch and this one in UPTC. So ang espesyal kapag na-Instagram at na-blog ganon. HAHAHA.

Meal comes with soup and tofu with pork floss. I think this set meal is also with unlimited rice, I am just not sure.

The chicken was cooked right - it was tender and juicy. I wish I could say that this tastes close to the one I had in Singapore but no I can't because this is much better. Also, the three dipping choices are so good though only spring onion with ginger soy sauce are for me. Yup, Wangfu's one for the boo...blog. :))
This is the first time trying Salted Egg Fried Chicken.

The main reason why I ordered this is because I was curious as to what it tastes like. What can I say? It tastes good especially since you can really taste the flavor of the salted egg as the breading and it's quite crunchy but this is something that I probably need to get used to before appreciating it fully.  You know those food that you're used to eat with a constant partner (Salted Egg with Tomatoes) that pairing it with other food isn't something you immediately like. Or ako lang 'to. Haha.
Pork Chop with Chinese Style Mayo

This one's good to but there's an umay factor. Should've have stuck with Sweet and Sour Pork.

I don't remember why I have no picture of our Shark's Fin Dumpling but it is something you should try. As in, okay na nga ko dun saka Hainanese Chicken Rice eh. :))

KitcheNails currently has two branches - one in Alabang Town Center and one in Trinoma. We went here last January during the opening day of Trinoma Branch.

I don't recall seeing a nail salon/spa anywhere in Trinoma so I think it's safe to say that they finally have one and in a very unique concept pa.

Here's for us North babies!

KitcheNails, as the name suggests, is a kitchen-themed nail salon.
I love how they went all-in for the concept. When you say KitcheNails it's not just a new nail spa in Trinoma but a nail spa that can offer you new experiences. Aside from being in lined with the theme, everything's so cute and girly.

Here's the cupboard of the order counter where the Chef will mix the ingredients... oooops, more of this later. :)
I am impressed with how well-thought of the interiors and designs there. It was like as if you entered a bakeshop, really.

Here's a picture of the receiving area where they'd ask you what your orders are.

So as I was saying earlier, there's a chef who mixed the ingredients that are to be used for your order.
They're very detailed when it comes to what you're getting because they want to serve you in the best possible way. Everything's dependent on your preference but don't get intimidated with the choices because they explain everything too.

The "order process" is a plus points as well because the customers are given the chance to say beforehand all the things that they want to be done. By the way, the "ingredients" they use are all organic.

What I had that night was Chef's Special in Spiced Plum Panacotta. Huhu. It smelled so goooooood!
Here's the area where the cooking takes place. place...
How cute are these???

When I saw these, I was like, "Omg ang cute!"
"Baking time."
Isn't it cool how they stick with the theme all throughout your stay there? KitcheNails surely has a unique concept that even if you're a frequent goer of nail spas, you'll still find a lot of interesting things and hear interesting terms there.

After soaking hands in a baking pan and applying the mask, arms are then covered with cling wrap.
A big thanks to my Nail Server Ate Melda for treating me like a princess. Di niya ko nasugatan saka ang bait. Hi Ate! :D
After our handspa and manicure, I got freshly-baked hands. Haha!

It was so fragrant I couldn't stop smelling my hands afterwards.
Kind of struggled with how I'm taking the photo of my nails. hehe.

Follow them on their social media accounts (@Kitchenails) and don't forget to use the hashtag #Kitchenails on your visit!
They are located on level three, near Mindanao Avenue Parking Area and Trinoma's Customer Lounge.

Thank you, KitcheNails for having us!

Thank you, Aldous for organizing this event! :)

There are two kinds of packaging for Nestle's Matcha Kitkat. This one, and the dark green one which only has two wafers.

I bought a bag of that (dark green) in S&R before but I didn't like it that's why it wasn't able to make it here but then, I was able to buy this in Merkado, UPTC when I claimed my *ehem* gift certificates for around P 45.00/piece.

I can't point out what's the difference of this and the one in the dark green packaging but I am sure of three things:

1. I like this better.
2. I'm still going gaga over matcha products and I'm confident that meron kaming forever. :)))
3. I'm putting Japan in my list of countries that I want to visit as soon as possible.
The packaging says that these are already for two servings.

I say, give me a box and I'll eat them all. Hahaha!!

Huhu. I now want to taste all the available KitKat flavors. :)))

P.S. More and more people are being influenced by me. I find it interesting and fulfilling (fulfilling kasi 'yun talaga ang goal HAHA! Mang damay sa gastos.) how some of those people who used to tease me for being addicted at something that tastes like grass are now asking me where to find anything matcha. 'Yan na nga ba sinasabi ko eh, wag kasi silang nang-aano. HAHAHA.

I'm thrilled that matcha is being slowly LOVED AND APPRECIATED by other people because the growing market for matcha/green tea/ nokcha means I'll have more matcha products to choose from. SUPER YES PLS!!!!

These are all near Tandang Sora Avenue except 1.

As we all know, no groceries are created equeal and just like what I was talking about in my previous post, here's the top 5 grocery stores that I am frequenting.

I won't focus on the price differences but my experiences in each.

Moved the little background at the read more part below because my little background got longer and unfitting for this post... :))))

I am guilty of only wanting to get these freebies that's why I went there to do the groceries. Haha! The Fiesta Hams that I redeemed in exchange for the charge slips (as in, career na career ito mga 'te) were from my BDO Cash Card, BDO JCB Credit Card, and BPI Family Bank Credit Card. The Holiday Pack was also from BPI FB Credit Card.

Aside from the promo, why Walter Mart as my first?

It felt comfortable and it's spacious.

A lot of people go there to do groceries but no long lines at the cashier. It's also surprising that even if it's supposed to be crowded, you can hardly notice the people because the aisles are wide enough. I love that there are, I think, four kinds of push carts available. Aside from the other promos and freebies, there is a free parking stub, the staff are courteous and helpful, and they definitely have a lot of choices.

Plus, I get to use my SM Prestige Card to accumulate points. Haha! Nanghihinayang din ako sa points ko since hindi na nga madalas mag grocery dun sa SM so good thing, they're partners with Walter Mart.

There's also a Japanese store (items priced at 66 or 88) at the third floor of the building. I bought a lot of baking tools and non-irritating fancy earrings there.
Kung di ka swerte sa 💗, sa ibang bagay na lang kagaya nito at ✈👣📱💰🍵🍴🌏🌍🌎. 😂 Nasasanay na ko sa ganitong picture-an ah. Hahaha. 1st of nth for 2016👌 Hihihi💃 Thanks, #unileverph and @merkadosupermarket. 😄 Okay next...😄 Okay soon...💕🙊 #nawili

Merkado at UPTC as my second.

It's brightly lit with all shelves usually well-stocked and the store layout is superb. It also looks sophisticated and high-end. To tell you honestly, it was intimidating at first because it looks expensive. haha! The first time I went there was when we were waiting for our seat at Mama Lou's and that's when I found out that the some prices were at par with other grocery stores. I did a grocery or two, signed up for the membership card and one time during those grocery trips, I dropped a raffle entry for Unilever and Merkado's Great Winter Sale. I don't remember dropping a raffle coupon for this but I won. Haha!!! I think the fated day was after going to Regina Rica and Pililla Windmills. Alam ko, walang nagtanong kung kelan. Haha.

I didn't anymore have the coupon with me because of the New Year's Day cleaning but they sent me an e-mail so I got the certificates last night. Yep, 11k richer in Gift Certificates and proud. I am getting used to having my picture taken like that since I've been winning raffle promos since last year. ANG YABANG KAINIS HAHA : Pero next raffle winning pls. :)))

Anyhow, like what I posted in my Instagram account, I did have my picture taken with that big check and I'm pretty sure it's going to be posted somewhere in Merkado along with the other 10 winners. I'm excited to see my second poster in UPTC. Haha! My first was when I attended the Wingman's Quiz Night.

Trinoma's Landmark as my third.

First, their mall hours last Christmas season was extended until 11 PM so no rush. They have four choices of push carts and several choices of places to eat at. Hello, Trinoma 'yan eh.

Also, I found my favorite matcha candy there. One thing lang is that I don't think they have a loyalty card so no points for me. I am a sucker for anything that accumulates points kaya ang lungkot ko. Hahaha! The line at the cashier can get long but bearable.

Fourth would be S&R Membership Shopping except Christmas Season.
I have no pictures from there 'cause it was a stressful place to be in during the holidays. It was so crowded that one can barely move. The concept's fine but I am not digging the self-service style all the time. Ang hirap mag-buhat pag maraming binili. Haha. Tamad.

I buy my Psyllium Fiber, Dove Soap, and Roasted Seaweed there because these things are cheaper in bulk (actually most of the products being sold there are cheaper) and their pizza is still one of my favorites to date so I'm renewing my membership card.

Fifth is Rustan's, Powerplant

I went to Rockwell one time, entered Rustan's and I saw this. My Meiji Kyo-Matcha Chocolate is sold at P 127.25 at Rustan's!!! GOSH I HAD THE SHOCK OF MY LIFE. HAHAHAHA. Walter Mart sells a box at P 218.00 while the old Cherry at P 250.00. The heck. Just when I thought that Rustan's have more expensive items, they're selling my favorite chocolate at that price. Ang dami ko pang pinagdaanan na indecisiveness noon kasi nga 250.00 tas meron palang 130. Huhubells. But I am glad that I now know about this. hihi. Ang layo nga lang ng Powerplant. :))

Okay, I haven't tried doing my grocery at Rustan's yet but I'm making it my top five because of my matcha discovery. hehe.

Done with the top 5.

Hugot part and little background after the page break.. :)
