Songdo Skywalk

Directions:

Go to Jagalchi Station, exit 2
Take buses no. 7, 9, 26, 30, 71, or 96.
Alight at Songdo Beach Station

South Korea Travel Sim? Purchase yours here.

What we did:
Took the bus straight to Songdo Skypark then rode the cable car down to the beach.

If I were to do it again though, this time with someone who's into trekking, I'd go to the beach first then ride the cable car to the Skypark and then trek down to the Skywalk :))

Of all the three Skywalks, this is the biggest and it's also the least frightening to walk onto since only minimal parts of the whole area are made with glass. Songdo is the busiest area among the three locations of the skywalks, expect more people visiting here especially during summer.

Songdo is a must-visit because you all have these attractions in one place.

I am not sure if you can consider it an island or just a big rock but Songdo Skywalk kinda passes through it and you'd see some statues and art installations that were placed on that big rock.

Interested about the Cable Car ride? My experience here.

Oryukdo Skywalk

Directions:
Go to Busan Station, exit 10
Take bus no. 27
Alight at Oryukdo SK View
Walk to the Skywalk

O (5) Ryuk (6) Do (Islands)

Look for the 5 or 6 islands (depending on the tides) when you go to this place.

This skywalk is the smallest but may be the most frightening of all since it's entirely made of glass. I've seen this featured as one of the places that was visited in the variety program, "Return of Superman"

On the background is Haeundae and the trees-filled part on the left most is where the Igidae Coastal Walk is.

They lend a shoe cover to anyone who walks on the glass.

I did the coastal walk above and it's my favorite place in whole of Busan. <3

Igidae Coastal Walk link: here.

While you can do it however you like, a lot of people start from Dongsaengmal (the other end) when doing this skywalk 'cause they said that sunset looks better when in Oryukdo area. I did the opposite though and started from Oryukdo 'cause having Gwangandaegyo at the end of a tiring walk is much more exciting for me and ending here is also closer to where I lived.

Cheongsapo Daritdol Skywalk
EAST BUSAN REPRESENT!! HAHAHA.

Direction:
Take a cab from Haeundae/Jangsan

I'm sorry that I'm of no help when it comes to public transportation options when in this part of Busan 'cause I pretty much just walked around. Cheongsapo Fishing Village where the skywalk is only less than 20 minutes walk away from where I lived in Jangsan and I don't even know if buses ply that route.

The highest and the newest of all skywalks in Busan - Cheongsapo Daritdol

If you have a day to explore East Busan then this is an interesting walking trail where you can see Seongjeong and Haeundae in one day. The walkway which is an old railway near the ocean is also a beautiful place to walk at as well. <3

Lighthouses of Cheongsapo

Cheongsapo Seafood Town is a great place to visit if you want to eat fresh seafood with the view of the ocean. There are a lot of different restaurants in the area yet it's very peaceful and relaxing to be in.

Someone told me that this place was recommended by the actor Gong Yoo and I can see why. <3

I am not scared of walking on top of glass-covered floors so I found this really nice. Also, this place doesn't allow entry when the weather isn't good so check the weather on the day you're visiting.

Shoe cover must be worn when inside the skywalk.

If there's one place that I want to live in other than the Philippines (na kahit mahirap mahalin e Pinas pa rin so far), I'd still choose Haeundae, Busan. One of the best choices I made was deciding to stay and explore Busan for a month - truly found my home away from home. <3 Can't wait to go back even if it's only going to be for a weekend! :">

ENTRANCE FEE: FREE FOR ALL THREE.

Shades: 09 Truly MLBB and 11 Made Easy

I stopped buying lipsticks for a while 'cause I figured I own to much of them these days but seeing this while I was doing grocery - I gave in. HAHAHA! I mean, I can stop myself from entering cosmetic stores but I always do groceries so.. :))) And for only P 219.00 each, wouldn't hurt to buy one, right? Oh, I mean two in this case.

Purchase your Maybelline Sensational Liquid Matte Lip Tint here.

I have pale bare lips so more often than not, I wear lipsticks. So far, products of Maybelline have always been one of my constants.

I got these two and I'm currently thinking of getting some other shades because I like the formulation so much! True to their claim, it didn't bleed even if it was a dark/bright shade and it wasn't too drying. My lips didn't look like parched. lol

Left: Made Easy
Right: Truly MLBB

Purchase your Maybelline Sensational Liquid Matte Lip Tint here.

"Our blendable formula is made with micronized powder technology for a non-sticky, non-drying, and weightless feel on the lips."

I read this description on the box and obviously, I was instantly sold. :))

True enough it's easy to apply - notice 'yung bandang philtrum ko e crisp 'yung line na nagawa ko. The color turn out and staying power were great as well. I think you can also use the product on your cheeks and eye lids since it's a lip tint.

It feels that I am not wearing lipstick and the product transfer is minimal. There's a faint smell but it fades fast.

The main reason why I liked this formulation is that it feels light but the color is there. It's so hot these days that anything that feels sticky turns annoying. Alam mo 'yon!!!

Anyway, while I think I did a good job with choosing MADE EASY, I'm really not into the color of Truly MLBB on me.

Maybelline NY's Truly MLBB

I'm thinking of getting another tube of a different shade because TRULY MLBB is too nude for me. I look even paler, right?

On some lights, it doesn't look like a MY LIPS BUT BETTER shade on me but my lips but drier shade. Lol

Maybelline NY's Truly MLBB

I was thinking of using a red blush today to balance the pale lips but it skipped my mind as I was getting ready this morning. Anyway, I'll do that in the future to see if the redder cheeks and pale lips combination would work on me.

...

Thinking of buying one (or three HAHA) among: Best Babe, Keep it Mellow, Sensationally Me.

Purchase your Maybelline Sensational Liquid Matte Lip Tint here.

This place is huge and you can do a lot of things and see a lot of places while in this eco center but we were only there for a short time 'cause we only went there to look for pink muhly.

You can also see Pink Muhly in Daejeo Ecologica Park.

Imagine my "kilig" upon seeing these trees with then orange leaves. I was actually hoping for a legit fall experience in South Korea last year but my trip fell on dates that were too early for autumn and so trees like was still a rare sighting.

I don't know the name of the grass above but it's also one of the seasonal grasses you can see during fall.

PINK MUHLY!!!

While some can argue that there's nothing to see/ nothing special with this grass, I don't have autumn in my country so anything "seasonal" is my kind of thing especially when travelling in countries that have four different seasons.

Unlike the one in Daejeo, you can't go near the grasses in this area because of the rope fences everywhere.

This place is huge so make sure to allot at least half a day should you wish to look around more.

Will be flying back to Korea in October and I wish to see more autumn feels by then. hehe!

Said to be The Most Beautiful Temple in Korea and it has no entrance fee. <3

There are a lot of ways to get here and based on experience, travel directions and mode of transportation instructions from Google maps are reliable when in Korea.

However, the temple is quite a walk from this sign by the road so I think it should be better if you put NATIONAL FISHERIES AND RESEARCH as your destination. The downside of this though is you're coming from the right side of the temple instead of the main entrance where a lot of temple "must-see" are located.

On the picture above, that's the building of National Fisheries on the left.

From the entrance, you'll be greeted by big statues of zodiac animals. As if they're guarding the whole temple.

8 Story Pagoda

I went to this temple twice while I was living in Busan and it was always filled with people.

Worship Area

Golden Buddha

What's interesting in this part of Busan is that you'd see a lot of people in this part (temple) then if you continue walking towards the Fisheries building, the number of people decreases. If you'll continue walking towards the residential area then you'd barely see people and if you reach the white building (hotel), you'd encounter a lot of people again. I love Busan with it's crowded and peaceful areas. HAHAHAHA.

Seawater Great Goddess

She's facing the sea and very much a lot like Tin Hau/Ama Goddess Statue in the hill of Coloane, Macau.

Going to this part might be difficult especially for senior citizens 'cause the steps are quite steep, better stay at the lower part of the temple complex.

Wishing Pond

Most temples in South Korea are built on a mountain so it's no wonder why this temple, which is built on a seaside, is dubbed to be the most beautiful temple in Korea.

Note:
This is located East of Busan and a lot of people flock here to watch the sunrise especially during New Year's Day. If you're thinking of doing that, the best way is to hire a cab that will take you to the temple 'cause I don't think you'd have enough time to travel if you're taking the first trip of Busan Metro and bus.

Pictures below are taken on my second time in the temple. We were just coastal walking/hiking from Gijang Lotte Mart to Orangdae.

Not a lot of people pass by this area but you can actually hike/walk from Haedong Yonggungsa and you'd reach Haeundae area. If you're interested then you can message me anytime since I've walked on almost all the coastal trails in this area of Busan. :))

If you don't get tired of walking and coastal trails are your thing, you can start from this temple walking to Songjeong beach, Cheongsapo, Mipo, Haeundae, Dongbaekseom, Bay 101.
