More filming locations of Park Seo Joon's dramas. :))

Itaewon Class Shooting Location

Dan Bam (Sweet Night) Restaurant, Itaewon
This is Seo Joon's Restaurant in Itaewon Class. This is also the place where they shot the poster where you can see the Namsan Tower at the back.

I was in Seoul for my winter trip 2020 but Park Seo Joon's newest drama, "Itaewon Class" hasn't started broadcasting yet so all my basis were the posters. This is actually the second spot we visited that afternoon. Disappointed 'cause they've already torn down the set. This place was built/decorated just for filming purposes. :(

Seo Joon was here. :))

Took photos in front of the restaurant though just in case a scene was filmed here. :))

Pwede na 'to as a picture of Itaewon since I don't frequent that neighborhood/area whenever I go to Seoul.

We walked down again and crossed the road.

If you see the underground market then you're already near the location of the other poster.

As soon as I saw this photo when it was published, I immediately searched for TAPE CAFE. You can also do that and locate it in Google Map before going to Itaewon so you won't have to walk a lot - there are a lot of alleys in Itaewon so it's easy to get lost.

Here are my photos from this road. We had to do something that night so we decided to visit the place in day time despite the poster being shot at night. Also, I don't think I won't be able to take a photo like this where no one else is walking if I do this at night. Itaewon becomes more lively at night thanks to all the resto, pubs and clubs in the area.

Legend of the Blue Sea Shooting Location

Anyway, if you're going here then look for the direction from Google Maps. It'll be better to ride a bus that would drop you off to the closest stop near Namsan's Cable Car lift.

COPY AND PASTE THE CODE  BELOW IN GOOGLE MAP.

The only place I am sure of where there's a bus you can ride that drops off passenger at this area is in the bus stop in front of SEOUL STATION.

If the lift is full of people then you can opt to use the staircase - both ways will get you to the gate of the house.

Legend of the Blue Sea Shooting Location

We've been trying to locate this location since two Seoul trips ago. :)) The crazy thing about it is last winter when we walked from Namsan Tower down to Myeongdong Street - we passed by this area already and we even took photos with two Lee Min Ho standees but failed to recognize the place. Probably 'cause it was night time then.

Namsan Tower  (down the Excursion Trail of Hanyangdoseong) link: here.

*this is located at the street on the right when you're facing the lower station of Namsan Tower's Cable Car.

Legend of the Blue Sea Shooting Location

This is a perfect sidetrip if you have Namsan Tower in your itinerary and you plan of riding the cable car.

Legend of the Blue Sea Shooting Location

I am not sure if we can go inside but this is a gallery btw.

Haaay... buti pa last winter, gigising lang kami ng maaga, makikita na naman si Lee Min Ho sandali. :)))) Ngayon, ewan ko ba kung nasaan ang koya mo. HAHA!

Lee Min Ho Military Days link: here.

Hindi talaga mawawala ang pagfa-fangirl everytime nagpupunta ko ng South Korea eh. For this trip, we saw EXO's Suho (once), Super Junior's Kyuhyun (twice), Shindong, and Yesung. I am not really into Kpop but I like the experience and seeing them in person so I'm kinda living someone else's fangirl dreams. lol. PARK SEO JOON PA RIN, UNIVERSE!! :)))

 So there.

From here, you can either walk up the stairs or continue walking at the boardwalk for Namsan Tower's Cable Car.

Vivaldi Park Snowy Land Klook

This is packaged day trip that we availed from Klook.

[Klook Link] Vivaldi Park Snowy Land Day Trip from Seoul

We don't ski but we wanted to see snow in the mountains so the Snowyland and Strawberry Picking combo was perfect for us. The instruction Klook sent us was precise and we were picked up at 8 AM in Lotte Hotel, Myeongdong. We have just arrived in Seoul six hours prior to this activity so I was asleep the entire bus ride. I only woke up when we were already outside the strawberry picking area in Yangpyong.

We were asked to sit down for a while and then we given a short orientation on how to properly pick strawberries and the rules inside. Hahaha. As if they know Filipinos very well, all the the things we were thinking of doing at first - bawal palang gawin. Like eat while picking strawberries. :)))

Vivaldi Park Snowy Land Klook

This is my second time to try strawberry picking and my first was in Carlsbad, California.  Back in CA, I was able to eat all I can 'cause no one was watching us. Lol. I've been travelling to Korea for the past three winters and one of my favorite things about it is the "strawberry overload"

Vivaldi Park Snowy Land Klook

I love fresh strawberries so this is an activity that I really want to do again and again and again. Strawberries in Korea are really sweet that even you can't taste sourness even if you eat those unriped green fruits.

Vivaldi Park Snowy Land Klook

We have a mini refrigerator in our hotel room and some of the strawberries I picked that day lasted for a week. I was able to bring some back to PH.

We were also given some strawberries to eat before riding the bus to our next destination which is the Vivaldi Ski Park.

Vivaldi Park Snowy Land Klook

Upon arriving, you'd immediately see the ski slopes of different difficulties. We were asked to wait for a while in this area and then our tour guide gave us a ticket to the cable car going to Snowy Land.

We were instructed to eat lunch first because only snacks are available in the mountain.

Vivaldi Park Snowy Land Klook

There are a lot of choices in the building but we went for this rice toppings.
Mine costs 11,900 KRW.

Vivaldi Park Snowy Land Klook

After getting ready, we rode the cable car. I love cable car rides and even if it's considered as a mode of transportation  - para na rin siyang attraction for me.

Vivaldi Park Snowy Land Klook

We rode past the beginners ski slope.

Snowy Land is perfect for people who just wants to experience snow when in Korea. Although there are a lot of other places such as Daegwalyeong or Jinbu in Pyeongchang, Vivaldi Resort is a lot closer to Seoul.

I've seen snow for several times already but I've experienced the most snowfall here. As in iba-ibang klase ng snow. Meron 'yung malakas na hangin, malalaking snowflakes, gentle na snowflakes - all in one afternoon. haha. Sino ba kasi nago-operate ng electric fan?

After walking for a bit, we entered the igloo resting area for several minutes.

Vivaldi Park Snowy Land Klook

Then we went down this area where the snow tubing is located to see if there's anything we can ride.

Vivaldi Park Snowy Land Klook

It's a wide area and you can also try out different snow activities such as snow tubing.

Vivaldi Park Snowy Land Klook

The line was long so we decided to just walk again towards the photo spot and take lots of photos instead.

When were taking photos with Pengsu (what they call this penguin), we saw that the ride at the back was a group activity so we decided to go up again and ride it.

Vivaldi Park Snowy Land Klook

It took us several minutes in queue but it was a fun experience - very tita, though. HAHA!

Snow Rafting

The line was also long at this area but it's faster compared to the others 'cause one raft can accommodate five persons.

Vivaldi Park Snowy Land Klook

Our departure time in Snowyland was 3 PM so we took the cable car at about 2 PM so we can go to the toiled first before heading to the meeting area.

The best thing you can do to save yourself from all the troubles is to locate the Guia Hill cable car at once. :)) We just searched Guia Hill and Google map pointed us to the trail so we had to walk all the way to the top of the hill passing through some residential areas.

It was a hike through this paved road. Good thing we visited Macau on a cold weather so it wasn't that tiring to walk around.

Hazy day Macau

So sad that people keeps on vandalizing tourist attractions. A lot of people are still thinking or dreaming to visit these places so leaving "marks" like this aren't ideal in keeping the area the same even after all the tourist arrivals.

This place has a complex military tunnel and there's an entrance to it if you want to explore but we decided not to. No other people was there with us that time so going inside a tunnel didn't feel like a good idea. lol.

Guia Chapel

If your first destination is the Cotai Strip and haven't researched about Macau beforehand, seeing this part is kind of surprising especially since Cotai and Coloane area have wide spaces and doesn't look crowded. I think this place/area is called the "Old Macau" Still worthy of your visit!

There's a fortress near St. Paul Ruins and one of the canyons there is pointing towards Lisboa. Will be blogging about that in the coming days as well.

We walked around for a bit more and finally found where the upper station of the cable car is.

It was just a short ride and it wasn't even expensive. HAHAHA! Sobrang hilig ba namin maglakad?! May sakayan naman kasi pala... :)))

Our hotel provided a phone with an internet connection so going places wasn't difficult. We arrived here riding by riding a bus and we only had to cross a footbridge to get to the gate. Based on reviews that we read beforehand, this felt like a deserted place 'cause there weren't a lot of people and truth be told, there's nothing to see.

BUT

Every place that would make us feel like we're in Europe? Count us in.

For people who dream of travelling across Europe that has no Europe funds yet, Macau is someplace you can visit to kinda feel the Europe vibe when you're here in Asia since there are a lot of replicas there. Not only that, it kinda feel that you're in Portugal since there's a strong Portuguese influence there especially when you're in Taipa or Coloane.

Ready your camera 'cause almost everywhere is an Instagram-worthy spot. Pagalingan na lang ng aura-aura. :))

Perfect place to visit if you're the type of person who prefers to not have other people in the background when taking photos. This kind of shot without anyone else is close to impossible when you're in the St. Paul Ruins area.

You would probably need only an hour to get around the area since it's not that big anyway. Also, if you can, you can visit around sunset. I've seen photos of it taken at night and they're quite stunning as well. Ganda ng lighting!
