This will include the places in Boracay that we visited during our previous trip. This is our second time going there but our first time going to most of the places included in this post. We decided to make this "calm and slow" so we didn't do any tiring water activities - we just went for the ROCK sightseeing. haha.

Since we're flying back to Hong Kong within this year, might as well post my un-uploaded photos from our previous trip. Thank you, Cathay Pacific for our round trip tickets! We were one of the winners of "The World of Winners" Campaign by Hong Kong Tourism Board. We're a step closer to say #HelloHongKong.

We bought the tickets from Klook.

Hong Kong Pass
Sky Terrace 428 with Tram Ride

The meeting place was outside a mall and we had to walk towards where the lower station of the tram is. Dusk should be the better time to go there but we wanted to skip the night crowd so we opted for an early afternoon slot.

Riding the tram felt like riding a roller coaster for kids.

This is the view from the tram. The ride took less than 10 minutes and it glides past Hong Kong Skyline. It was such a treat for the eyes especially for first-timers like me.

The Peak Tower is a building on top of Victoria Peak. This is a tourist spot, thus, there are a lot of restaurants and stores here as well. Hong Kong's Madamme Tussauds' Wax Museum is also in the building.

In 2012, this was certified as one of the three World's Best Night view. The other two are found in Morocco and Japan.

Japan:

Mount Inasa's (Inasayama) Observation Platform, Nagasaki

If you have the time and stamina, there are trails within the hill. Hiking should be a popular activity here because I saw people wearing their hiking outfit back then. haha

Imagine going here at dusk and be able to watch the sunset.

You'd have to ride those escalators in order to get up and down the Sky Terrace 428. It is named this way because the Terrace stands at 428 MASL.

This is inside Candylicious. Also in the Peak.

Recreating the photos I took in Singapore and Las Vegas. Sometimes I still can't believe that I've been to these places. Hahaha

Sentosa, Singapore: Candylicious at Universal Studios
Las Vegas, USA: Hershey's Chocolate World
New York, USA: Hershey's Chocolate World

After walking around for quite some time, we rode down. Exiting the Tram, we saw long lines of people in the lower station. Dusk, truly, is the more preferred time to go there.

This place is the one we saw when we decided to book plane tickets to Virac - Binurong Point in Baras, Catanduanes. My first fly-out for 2023 and my first time in Bicol Region. 💖

Expenses:

Environmental Fee - P 30.00/pax - You pay this on your first day and they'd give you entry stamps which you're showing at the jump-off/entrance of the tourist spots so you don't have to pay it every time.
Entrance Fee - P 30.00/pax
Tour Guide Fee - P 250.00/guide - There's a trek/hike to get to Binurong Point so you would need to hire a guide to accompany you. Don't worry 'cause the hike is easy.

Purchase your travel essentials here

We arrived at twilight. We initially thought we missed the sunrise but Catanduanes was generous to us 'cause it waited. haha. As if.

The first thing I noticed when we arrived is this herd of cows - they're waiting for the sunrise with us while having breakfast.

We were still catching our breaths from the hike and then we were welcomed by this breathtaking view. I've embedded my Instagram post at the end of this post. <3

It was a perfect day to watch the sunrise in Binurong Point.  Looking at the view, it made sense when they told us, "Maganda 'yan. Mataas 'yung ulap." while in the jump off point.

So, there are three points in Binurong.

Point A, Point B, and Point C... as in Point Cow? Since the cows are there? HAHAHA

You'd have to walk along a steep cliff to get to Point A. We decided to walk barefoot. It was scary at first but soon felt that the view was too magnificent to be scared.

Btw, I heard that this place isn't accessible to public on some days when the wind is strong. When you arrive in Catanduanes, you'll realize why it's also called "The Land of the Howling Wind. This one of the places we visited there where the strength of the wind was really intense. It felt like it was pushing us back when we were walking along Point A.

Here are photos from Point A since I can't choose which ones to post.

The place was wide and directly facing the sunrise.

Aside from the bamboo fences to stop the cows from going to dangerous spots, this is pure nature. Don't forget to bring your water when going to this place.

Point B on the left, Point C on the right.

End of Point B

I don't know if wearing dress at this place was a right decision. lol. Anyway, make sure to wear shorts underneath because dresses/skirts keep on blowing up because of the wind.

Sobrang ganda!!!!
The pictures and videos didn't do justice at all.

Last stop is Point C. These are free range cows and they're used to people so as long as you're not getting to close nor harming them, you don't have to worry.

We didn't get to visit a lot of places in Catanduanes and I haven't even posted all the places we've visited in Boracay but this is just tooooo beautiful that I really made time to post this ASAP.

If you're looking for a guide, you can look for the Facebook page of Kuya Onyong Pamplona and he can help you plan your Catanduanes Trip.

Everything, in time. 💖

During my first trip in Boracay, "Hindi ka nakapag-Boracay kung wala kang henna tattoo." was my thinking. For this trip, "Hindi ka nakapag-Boracay kung hindi ka nakapag-pictorial sa crystal kayak at wala kang hair braid." These two were our top must-dos. HAHAHA.

It was a cloudy afternoon. We were happy that it wasn't hot so "photoshoot" wouldn't be so uncomfortable but then a clear and bright day would look better in photos according to our guide. Well, anyway...

We rode the hop on, hop off bus to get here. In 2018, I thought that Puka Beach was an island. HAHAHA! I learned, though, that it was just an assumption on my part just because this place was a part of our boat tour.

The downside of taking the bus was we couldn't immediately ride back since we were soaked and it felt like we were gonna disrespect other passengers if we ride it with our clothes dripping wet. Of course, one of your option is to have dry clothes you can change to before riding.

We also had our hair braid done here. Mine costs P 200.00 and I left it on my hair for the next two days.

Prior to our trip, I was thinking whether I'd be able to pose properly but that was needless 'cause the guide/photographer/kuya kayak would definitely make sure that you'd have more than enough poses and pictures in one session. HAHAHA. Ang lala. Sanay na ko mag picture ng mag picture sa lagay na'to pero parang gusto ko na lang sumuko. HAHAHAHA

For the crystal kayak, it was kinda available everywhere but they said that it originated from here. You know how they peddle day tours/boat tours/paragliding activities in white beach? They also sell crystal kayak experience.

Crystal Kayak here is P 300.00 according to my list of expenses. But I think it was only P 250.00 and gave P 50.00 as my tip for Kuya's good service and photography skills. 😂😂😂

We walked around for about an hour to dry our clothes a bit. Unlike before, there aren't a lot of stores in this place now but there are several photo spots scattered along the shore.

There weren't a lot of people that afternoon. Tourist arrivals haven't gone back to pre-COVID number but I'm pretty sure they'd receive more travelers in the coming months especially in summer. I've noticed a lot of people doing their revenge travels already. ahaha

I've been wearing facemasks for almost three years now and the only time that I got injured was in Bora. We were eating breakfast then I suddenly tasted blood in the food I was chewing. Haha. Turns out that scraped the top of my lip using the wire of my facemask. 'Yung totoo, ba't may matulis na alambre pala doon???

Those huts and stores are no longer in the area.

Puka Beach is located at the northern tip of the island. This is the last stop of the Northbound Hop on, Hop off buses. Ofc, first stop of the Southbound buses.
