These are some of the places that we visited on a Summer Tokyo Trip. Japan hits different now that I watch anime. hahaha. I don't blog as frequent as I did before so I'm posting this here just in case some future traveler wants reference since submitting an itinerary is a visa application requirement.

This is what I'm talking about when I said Tokyo hits different. hahaha! Our first Japan trip was in Fukuoka and we bought an unlimited JR Pass back then. Was I a fan of One Piece back then, I would've definitely gone to Kumamoto to see their statues. And oh, apparently, Thousand Sunny is/was in Huis Ten Bosch.

This was the second Mugiwara Shop for that day. Other than One Piece, I'm proud to say that I can now identify a lot of characters like Anya, Denji, Shoyo, Gojo, Killua etc. I swear, if you're an anime fan, Tokyo is heaven but also feels like hell for travelers with tight budget 'cause temptation is everywhere.

During our last year's trip in Cebu's Little Kyoto, while walking through their versions of Torii gates, Maneki-Neko, and Hachiko Statue, we were telling each other to try saving for a Spring 2024 trip to Japan.
But the universe had a different plan, and we ended up going in Summer 2023. We made sure that we'll be able to visit this Shrine because of this - a wish made through a maneki-neko came true.

I didn't try my luck in any SVT Gachapon though because anime was the top prio. Also, this was when GIFs of Wen Junhui's drama were going viral so nevermind. HAHAHAHA. JOKE LANG! Thank you, Universe for giving us the chance to heal our 2020 heartbreak! Tokyo trip finally came true after three years and three months of waiting. 💖 Truth be told though, if I were to tell my Cebu-bound self that I'm flying to Tokyo in 2023, I wouldn't believe me as well. hehehe 😊😊😊
