Some photos from the breakfast buffet of Movenpick Resort and Spa in Boracay. This aren't all the choices - I wasn't able to take lots of photos because I wasn't actively blogging when we went here so it skipped my mind. 😁😁

If you go there earlier than the crowd then you get to choose the tables overlooking/near the pool. I think eating there is the best. We arrived late so we were seated near the door instead. HAHA

I took this photo thinking the graph on the lower right is visible but apparently, it's not. Those red colored time are the peak time of breakfast buffet diners.

After eating our breakfast, we walked around the hotel then we were sales talked and then rode the crystal kayak. HAHAHA. Here costs 50.00 more expensive than the crystal kayak of Puka Beach.

Mandatory Movenpick Boracay picture because of the sign. lol

Movenpick Resort and Spa is located in what they call Station 0. That stretch is where the luxury hotels are located. We weren't checked in here. We just went for the breakfast buffet and happy hour since my friend has a membership card. Anyway, going here from Station 2 was easy because of the Hop On and Hop Off bus and we just rode the hotel's free shuttle to and from the gate.

Since this place is usually for the guests of the hotels only, it's normal that it isn't packed with a lot of people.

We rode the multicab back to the hotel 'cause the Crystal Kayak photoshoot got me soaking wet. nyahahaa

This is a review of the newest skincare item from B.Lab's Matcha Hydrating Line. I haven't gotten the chance to post the cleanser here but that one has been my HG for more than a year now.

Anyway, I've posted this review in the Lazada store where I bought this so might as well post this here too. I think there aren't a lot of reviews for this yet since, again, this is a new product.

B.Lab Matcha Hydrating Relief Cream Review

I thought that I was the only one who wanted matcha - turns out my skin loves drinking it too. 😅

I am a huge fan of B-Lab's Matcha Hydrating line. In fact, the facial wash has been my HG for more than a year now so when I saw a new product being launched under the same line - I didn't even hesitate to buy myself a tube.

B.Lab Matcha Hydrating Relief Cream Review

Quality: It comes in a box and a tube packaging that is very easy dispense. It looks neat just like the other products from this line. Safe for those with sensitive skin since it's fragrance-free.

Texture: Looks slightly thick at first but it has a quick-absorbing gel-like texture when spread on the face. It has a bit of green tint as well.

Effectiveness: Suitable for all skintypes. It's a no-frill cream and does its job effectively. I was able to use it during the day without breaking me out. I have oily skin and I tend to avoid creams like this during mornings but this is obviously an exception. It's rich but not greasy even in hot and humid weather. I love how it makes my skin moisturized without the sticky and tacky feeling. It also melts and sinks in nicely and fast as if my skin drinks it. A little goes a long way so this 60 ML tube will last long.

I have used this twice a day consecutively in the past week, and I am super satisfied.

Lambros Point in Station 1 Boracay

This is my favorite part of our latest Boracay trip and the main reason we got sunburnt.

Lambros Point in Station 1 Boracay

Diniwid Beach

We knew that it was at the end of Station 1 when we looked at Google Map but we still took the longer way 'cause we didn't want to walk so we rode the Hop On, Hop Off bus and looked for Diniwid Beach.

Apparently, Diniwid beach isn't accessible like Station 1 and you still have to ride the multicab from the street to get there so you're better off walking to and from Station 1.

So you're probably asking, "What's special about this place?" This is it actually.

There's nothing much to see but rocks but I LOVE COASTAL WALKS that's why I liked this place. It's not a long walk, would probably last 5-10 minutes if you're not going to take photos along the way.

Again, the best way to go to this place is to actually walk from Station 1.

This is a good photo spot of the Long Beach. I think sunset is also beautiful when viewed at this place 'cause it's facing West.

I love the view and the fact that long beach was crowded and yet we had this entire place to ourselves during that time. It was hot but the place is beautiful and serene. We got so into taking photos and we ended up getting sunburnt here and not while at the beach.

Lambros Point in Station 1 Boracay

By the way, the locals that we encountered when we were looking for Lambros Point didn't know where or what it was. I don't know how this place got its name but they just refer to this place as "grotto."

Take note, though, there's another and more famous grotto on Willy's Rock at the Station 1 shore. But if you reach and recognize that other grotto, you're close by. That rock is only a few minutes walk away from Lambros Point.

Back in Station 1. :)

There are several hotels lined in this area and all were private properties.

We asked around and were told to look for the small alleyway which leads back to the street.

We exited and located the bus stop of the Hop On and Hop Off bus 'cause we had to head to Cujo's Keyhole and back to Movenpick Hotel for the sunset viewing and cockails.

This will include the places in Boracay that we visited during our previous trip. This is our second time going there but our first time going to most of the places included in this post. We decided to make this "calm and slow" so we didn't do any tiring water activities - we just went for the ROCK sightseeing. haha.

Since we're flying back to Hong Kong within this year, might as well post my un-uploaded photos from our previous trip. Thank you, Cathay Pacific for our round trip tickets! We were one of the winners of "The World of Winners" Campaign by Hong Kong Tourism Board. We're a step closer to say #HelloHongKong.

We bought the tickets from Klook.

Hong Kong Pass
Sky Terrace 428 with Tram Ride

The meeting place was outside a mall and we had to walk towards where the lower station of the tram is. Dusk should be the better time to go there but we wanted to skip the night crowd so we opted for an early afternoon slot.

Riding the tram felt like riding a roller coaster for kids.

This is the view from the tram. The ride took less than 10 minutes and it glides past Hong Kong Skyline. It was such a treat for the eyes especially for first-timers like me.

The Peak Tower is a building on top of Victoria Peak. This is a tourist spot, thus, there are a lot of restaurants and stores here as well. Hong Kong's Madamme Tussauds' Wax Museum is also in the building.

In 2012, this was certified as one of the three World's Best Night view. The other two are found in Morocco and Japan.

Japan:

Mount Inasa's (Inasayama) Observation Platform, Nagasaki

If you have the time and stamina, there are trails within the hill. Hiking should be a popular activity here because I saw people wearing their hiking outfit back then. haha

Imagine going here at dusk and be able to watch the sunset.

You'd have to ride those escalators in order to get up and down the Sky Terrace 428. It is named this way because the Terrace stands at 428 MASL.

This is inside Candylicious. Also in the Peak.

Recreating the photos I took in Singapore and Las Vegas. Sometimes I still can't believe that I've been to these places. Hahaha

Sentosa, Singapore: Candylicious at Universal Studios
Las Vegas, USA: Hershey's Chocolate World
New York, USA: Hershey's Chocolate World

After walking around for quite some time, we rode down. Exiting the Tram, we saw long lines of people in the lower station. Dusk, truly, is the more preferred time to go there.
