Last year, I compiled photos from the different flower fields/gardens that I visited in Japan and USA.

Spring 2019 - I said before that 2019 has been incredibly fast, well, di niya pa kasi kakilala si 2020 na ilang buwan ng gumigising sa walang kasiguraduhan at daily routine na nag simula nung March. lol pero k. HAHAHAHA. NVM. Alam niyo na 'yon. :)))

For this year, I'm compiling all my cable car rides in one post since nag "On This Day"  sa Facebook 'yung Maokong, Taiwan at dahil na-post ko na 'yung kulang which is the Ngong Ping Cable ng HK.

BALIK-TANAW:

Genting Highlands, Malaysia

This was my first cable car ride and the funniest so far. HAHAHA! Buti di ako na friendship over dito. The friends that I was with during this cable car ride were scared of heights and we all didn't know that it would be this high kaya tuwang tuwa sila sa'kin niyan. HAHAHAHA!

Palm Springs Aerial Tramway
San Jacinto State Park, California, USA

I was ecstatic when I learned that in order to get to the State Park, we were supposed to ride a cable car.  Baka naman Sequioa o Yosemite o Grand Canyon... sayang visa. HAHAHAHA!

Palm Springs Windmills and Baker, California

Del Mar County Fair, San Diego, California

I saw this in the post - my hand with a lot wounds because my skin reacts/has allergic reaction to the latex in the gloves that we use when cooking/preparing food in Las Vegas. Four years later, I've almost forgotten about these and my hands don't even have scars to remind me of those days. Sana ito rin. Four years in the future, I'll look back on this day and I won't remember the confusion that this phase brought to my life - sana point of breakthrough ang maalala ko.

Maokong Gondola, Taiwan

There's a matcha ice cream waiting at the end of this cable car ride. To be honest, I was looking forward to that more than the cable car ride but since this was my first time riding a crystal glass-floored cabin, syempre tuwang tuwa rin ako. Ang saya.

The nice thing about their cable car is that you won't have to pay extra if you want to experience the crystal cabin. The line is a bit longer for the crystal but at least, same price.

Guia Lighthouse Cable Car, Macau

This was the one that we were supposed to look for in order to get to Guia Hill. The shortest of the cable cars I've ridden but well-appreciated since we would've taken the long route again if we weren't able to locate this Cable Car station. HAHA!

Wynn Palace, Cotai Strip, Macau

Sweetest surprise of Wynn Palace Macau. Rode this for five times just because it's free! HAHAHA! Again, I don't see this frequently in photos when people tour around Macau. I don't know if it's because cable cars aren't really interesting (ako lang ba tuwang-tuwa?) or because the location of Wynn is at the back of Cotai Strip that going there via bus is the more convenient way.

Busan Air Cruise
Songdo Skypark, Busan, South Korea

BOOK YOUR TICKETS HERE

LOOOOOOVE! MY LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE!

What makes this different from the rest is that this is over the ocean. Madalas kasi through mountains 'yung cable cars. You can spend the entire day in Songdo beach since there are a lot of things to do in this area of Busan. I was having breakfast in our apartment's kitchen and then a friend came and asked me where was I spending my free time that day. I told her my "schedule" doesn't start until 6 in the evening so I basically have the entire day and was thinking of going far. One hour travel via public transport without traffic congestion is already far. You can do a lot of things in a day at masusunod pa rin schedule mo since hindi kakainin ng traffic 'yung oras. Anyway, ayon na nga, dito kami nagpunta. We rode a crystal cabin. Gosh. Wala kong masabi. Mahal kita, Busan. I will always look forward to visiting you again.

Must-visit Places in Busan, South Korea

Nagasaki Ropeway, Japan
10 Million Dollar Night View at Mt. Inasa, Nagasaki

This place is considered one of the three World's Best Night Views pero syempre... pinuntahan namin ng umaga. HAHAHA! Experience is in the link kasi wala naman na ako masyadong masabi. This is just a short ride to get to the viewing area at Mt. Inasa.

Ngong Ping 360
 Lantau Island, Hong Kong

BOOK YOUR TICKETS HERE.

This, for me, has the nicest view so far 'cause it has everything that I want to see when travelling. You have your city with the high-rise buildings, your body of water, your mountains and your forest. You can also opt for a crystal cabin if you want to.

No wonder this cable car ride and the one I've mentioned earlier in Palm Springs, California are included in the World's Top 10 Cable Car experience.

Vivaldi Snowyland
Yangpyong, South Korea

My first and only out-of-the-country trip this 2020. This cable car ride was from the ski slope to the ice park in the mountains and vice versa.

💗💗💗

My could haves, should haves, and would haves. Dami, noh? I saw this in a different perspective now that I am constructing my post. Kasi it was never ending eh, it is never ending. I keep reaching for something. I keep wanting more. Not remembering that this was one of the things I wanted and hoped for some six years ago. What would that make me?

Ganon naman, noh? We're a work in progress, haven't figured everything out, nagre-realign ng mga wants and priorities (though it took me a pandemic to finally do this at nadadapa pa rin ako minsan! HAHA!) We grow and we change. Not striving for a dream you once had doesn't make you a lesser a person. It's just that you've outgrown whatever that was because of current circumstances. Most important thing talaga, we're trying.

Gusto kong i-upload at i-kwento lahat lahat pero as you can see, nagiging sentimental ate mo ghorl kaya isa-isa lang. Okay. Enough enough. Cable car compilation 'to. Hindi kaartehan. HAHA!

Changi International Airport
Singapore

'Yung cable car ride on a winter day. Kinikilig ako actually at nakaka-amaze at the same time na ito na 'yon oh. 'Yung "sana" ko six years ago, tapos na pala. hehehe! Sana. Sana. Sana.

❤️ Just like all our concerns, frustrations, wishes, dreams now... hindi pa man natin alam kung paano exactly pero magagawan at magagawan ng paraan. 🥰
Everything, in time. 💖

If you're going to ask me about the places where you can see Manila sunset in all its breathtaking beauty... I'd answer Cafe Agusta in a heartbeat. ❤️ I'd say Mall of Asia too but I kinda like it here more.

Santorini vibe? You can somehow feel that here because of its blue and white paint. There's an area on the second floor that serves as a photo spot.

Hindi ko na masyado pinansin itsura ng place kasi it's the feeling of finally being "able to breathe" and "go out" that mattered more to me. My much awaited wide-open space. A drive longer than a trip to the mall, grocery, and baking supplies store. Though may napuntahan naman akong ibang lugar in Manila, Pasig, Makati, QC since March... iba pa rin ang out of town. 😂

This may be overlooking the smoggy Manila skyline but this is definitely one of the most beautiful sunsets I've seen.

Add the coolness of the breeze, the freshness of the air, good food, and fun company - couldn't ask for more.

Visited on a weekday afternoon so it wasn't that crowded, not sure lang on a weekend kasi kahit may pandemic e nakakalabas naman na mga tao.

I still feel paranoid visiting malls, groceries or any place with a crowd actually but here felt safe probably 'cause of the outdoor seating and there were ample spaces between the tables.

Didn't get to eat other food aside from these since we had a different dessert place in mind. Hahaha! But yeah, they have cakes and hot drinks as well.

Food and drinks are delicious and reasonably-priced. Plus the view talaga eh. Love love.

We're thinking of going somewhere farther one of these days. Sana matuloy kami. Isasama naman kita. 😂🥳

Here's to deciding the kind of life we want and saying no to everything that isn't that. Hehehe!😅

But it's so difficult to be like that these days, noh? But we'll get through this! Phase lang 'to.

Sabi nga, breakthroughs after our breakdowns.🥰 A life with better decisions.
Cheers to the better people we shall become. ❤️

    Mt. Inasa, Nagasaki, Japan

I hope that we can go back to the time when we can enjoy face to face conversations without masks and without the threat of getting infected with the virus. I know that most of us are trying to live life normally now but COVID is still here so let's always be cautious when going out.

Anyway, I hope you're safe, happy, and winning (if not, learning from) your life's small and big battles. Wishing us all the best. 🤗

Looking for a lipstick that can be worn under a face mask? Found one! 💋

These are just selfies while wearing Maybelline's Superstay Matte Ink in Ruler with CGM hairfies.

I was waiting for someone to pick me up. HAHAHAHA! Pero syempre hindi naman niya nabasa agad mga chat ko kaya lumabas akong matino.🤦🏻‍♀️ As if naman lumalabas akong hindi matino?! 🤨🤣

This is actually a new experience for me since 'yung ganitong mga itsura ng buhok are definitely not possible with a rebonded hair. Lakas maka-prim and proper ng hair dati. EXCUSED. 🤷🏻‍♀️

    Curlversary Update

Maybelline's Superstay Matte Ink in Ruler

HAHAHAHA.

I mentioned last month that I haven't been using my lipsticks since March. I went out one night wearing a dark red shade 'cause I removed my face mask when I arrived at my destination but that wasn't transfer proof kaya kumalat.

    Pa(w)ssion Projects123

I was only supposed to wear my lipbalm but I remembered that I'll remove my mask again. When I was looking at my stash, I saw this. I haven't been using this before the pandemic 'cause I got used to wearing nudes and browns that I even forgot I have one.

Maybelline's Superstay Matte Ink in Ruler

Maybelline New York's Superstay Matte Ink - kiss proof, smudge proof, transfer proof, everything proof. HAHA! Ghorl, ito na talaga. 😂 It's pigmented, dries matte, and very easy to apply. You might actually need to use make-up remover at night if you didn't eat nor drink that much throughout the day.

Make sure that you dry your lips first, apply this, blot off the excess and you're good. Didn't have to worry whether it'll transfer on the face mask and/or smudge all over my mouth and face. It also doesn't stain the lips and doesn't feather.

We were browsing the pictures later that day while thinking about the missed opportunity of seeing me go out looking like that. 🤣 The chosen was what I call "feather duster" hairstyle (bottom right), it was referred to as Amy Winehouse hairstyle daw... pero syempre joke lang mga 'yan, wala lang kasi akong magawa saka hindi ko naman keri lumabas ng naka-ganyan. Hahahaha!

Maybelline's Superstay Matte Ink in Ruler

We took this dog with us on a ride before but now, he's always ready to go. Haaaay. Spoiled. Well, kanino pa ba kasi magmamana ng pagiging gala???? Tinatanong ko pa ba talaga 'to? Hahaha!

Maybelline's Superstay Matte Ink in Ruler

Here it is swatched on my hand.
    Ruler #80

    BTW.

Love you so matcha, Park Seo Joon!! 🤣

My favorite part of our Hong Kong Trip last year is Ngong Ping mainly because of the cable car ride.

I didn't even read about what's in Ngong Ping Village beforehand 'cause the only thing I wanna do there is ride the cable car. HAHAHA!

Cable car, by the way, is my favorite mode of transportation. I like trains, buses, and airplanes too but since cable car rides don't last that long - mas special siya in a way.

    Purchase tickets in advance:
[Klook Link] Hong Kong Ngong Ping Cable Car Ride

You have two options when it comes to the kind of gondola available to you. Unlike the one in Taiwan though where the cost is the same for both types, you pay a higher price if you want to ride the crystal cabin here in Hong Kong. We were able to cut lines since we have purchased the tickets before going there via Klook.

Maokong Gondola, Taipei, Taiwan link: here.

Central Hong Kong was crowded and full of high-rise buildings so going in Lantau Island was definitely a breather. Wide open spaces overlooking a body of water and the lush forest.

    Tian Tan Buddha/ Big Buddha
    Left hand: Fulfilling Wishes
    Right hand: Imparting Fearlessness

The most iconic part of Ngong Ping. I was looking forward to climbing that all the way to the top but when got at the bottom - it was a bit crowded and no one wanted to go up with me so we just explored more of the place.

Kailan kaya babalik 'yung mga gala?
I mean, hindi naman necessarily na out of the country. Nakakamiss lang 'yung freedom na napupuntahan mo gusto mo, nagagawa mo gusto mo at basta. hahaha! New found appreciation 'yan definitely pag bumalik 'yung freedom after the pandemic, noh? Sana soon.

    Health and Bliss 🙆🏻‍♀️

We didn't really do anything in Ngong Ping. Didn't even look around the stores and cafes there. We just walked and took photos.

Well, 'yun nga, mas mataas kasi na area.

This is like the Buddha in Indonesia and Singapore which makes sense since those three countries practice the same kind of Buddhism (I read about this before but I've forgotten the name).

This is different from those in Cambodia and Thailand.

I've ridden two out of ten world's best cable car experience. I searched about this before as well and I used to dream of visiting the one in Vietnam 'cause that leads to the French Town and a tea farm but yea, postponed lang pero pwede pang puntahan. HAHAHA!

Palm Springs' Aerial Tramway in California is somewhere on the list.
    Link: here.

    See you again, HK?

For Pa(w)ssion Project number 1: CGM Hair

Above is one of my favorite photos.
That one I use whenever I need to remind people that I've had long hair almost all my life... tinopak lang nung December 2017 pero hindi na ulit pinahaba for the past two years.

Taken during our trip to Sumilon Island, Cebu in February 2017.

Hair before cutting it short for CGM

10th month in CGM link: here.

I posted an update in September 'cause that was the anniversary of my introduction to this but I started November so for the process, this month is my anniversary.

Not a lot of people would be able to relate why seeing my hair improve because of CGM is a big deal to me and to the other ladies who are members of the group as well. There's a kilig feeling in learning to love and accept your insecurities. I hated my natural hair before especially whenever people tell me "Mahangin ba sa labas?" or "Pugad ng ibon ba buhok mo?" Sobrang kapal, haba at buhaghag kaya ang laki-laki tignan. Ngayon, work that hair volume, sis! 😂 Maganda naman kasi.

Photo collage of my face and hair per month for the past twelve months below so... ginagawa kasi talaga 'to nung mga members sa group kapag anniversary nila pero nahihiya nga ako. hahahahaha

    November 2019

    *First Haircut

I initially wanted a trim but I thought that I'd save on conditioner costs if I had shorter hair so I had it cut to shoulder length.

This month was the most challenging month, tbh. I needed to read the units for several times since they were really confusing for beginners. Anong s2c? low poo? protein? non-protein? 😅😅😅

Aside from not knowing which products work and don't work on my hair, I "needed" to purchase a lot of products and stuff that are CGA so initially - the switch was kinda magastos (more on this at the end of this post 'cause my current routine is simplified and budget-friendly na). Also after the final wash, you'd see the real state/health of your hair so iniisip ko pa dati pano kaya kung ipa-rebond ko na lang ulit? Parang hopeless na siya! Hahaha. I'm more than happy I stayed and documented the progress though. Selfie everyday. Oh, diba? 😂

    December 2019

It got a lot worse before it got better.

Hair was unruly on most days but nothing a hairclip would fix. My rebonded hair was dyed so you'd see where the treated hair ends and where the natural hair begins. I was still not used to my hair looking like this so going out was making me conscious sometimes.

    January 2020

You know the funny thing that I was overthinking that month?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Lower left photo was taken in Korea and my hair looked good and tamed in winter weather so it wasn't a problem but yeah, useless problem kasi 'yun na rin naman na 'yung last gala ko for 2020. HAHAHA! Hay nakoooo. The twists and turns of life talaga.

    February 2020
    *Second Haircut

I had the back part of my hair cut shorter because they're the most damaged but maintained the length of the front and side parts.

    March 2020

    HAAAAAAAY! HAHAHAHAHA!

Well, we all know the struggles of ECQ so this was the month when I didn't pay much attention to my hair - the documentation continued though. Start na rin 'to ng walang ayos days that continues until now.

Anong lipstick? bb cream? face powder? Uso pa ba 'yon? 🤦🏻‍♀️😂

    April 2020

I've had good hair days but couldn't go out so that was a bummer. Although as you can see, hindi talaga ko curly everyday.

    May 2020
All of a sudden, hair looked long.
Whenever I see it then, all I can think of was having a haircut.

    June 2020

I was starting to go out again. The first time that I went out of the house since March. Going out back then, I didn't tie my hair and I also wore dangling earrings. HAHA! Soon, I read somewhere that it's safer to go out in a bun so after nito, lagi na lang akong nakatali at walang earrings.

    July 2020
    *Third Haircut

I slept at a friend's house and a hairstylist came so I had him cut my hair as well - back to shoulder length but I failed to mention that I wanted a layered haircut so alam mo na... :))) Kailangan ng isa pa.

    August 2020

This was the month when I was frequently going out again. You'd notice that compare to the curl pattern that I've had in July, the curls were looser in August since tying the hair up in a bun stretches the curl pattern.

    September 2020
    *Fourth Haircut

The two photos above are taken on a very rare good hair day. :)))

    October 2020

I think it's more proper to say now that I am amazed at how my hair looks different every single day. And what's more amazing? During those days when it looks so unkempt and frizzy, I couldn't care less.

    November 2020

I still don't even know what it wants and what it's going to be every wash day - curly, wavy, straight, buhaghag, bahala na siya sa buhay niya.
    HAHAHAHAHA. ANO NA, GHURL.

    My hair today.
    11/06/20
Kaya ngayon ko 'to ginawa kasi good hair day. ❤️

All I know is that I'm happy that I joined CGM a year ago 'cause I think more than my hair health improving, it's my appreciation and acceptance of my natural hair that matters the most - kahit good or bad hair day pa 'yan. I won't be posting a CGM update as frequent as I do now since wala naman na talaga kong masabi after the 10th month update but I documented my hair for the whole year for this post so tinuloy ko pa rin. I might pala after six months or whenever the growth is noticeable already.

It will take me a year or two or more to grow my hair back to this length. I don't even know if I'll be comfortable in having hair this long again but I really want to give it a try.

    Okay, Tintin.
Long wavy black hair tayo in a year or two. Huwag kang magpapa-tempt sa drastic haircut and hair color muna! Be patienttttttt. HAHAHA!

All of the products above are CGA.
You may not know the terms if you're not familiar with CGM.

    Co-wash - Johnson's Active Kids Conditioner (Protein)
Low Poo - HHN Mandarin Shampoo (Protein Free)
S2C - Suave's Cherry Blossom or Waterfall Mist (Protein Free)
Deep Con - Keraplus (Protein) I hope they manufacture a bigger size.
Leave On - HHN Vanilla Conditioner (Protein Free)

I don't use stylers 'cause I find them sticky. I rinse all the products after S2C and I apply a little bit of HHN Vanilla Conditioner mixed with water as a leave on after wet plopping.

Now, going back on my first month in CGM, my current routine isn't expensive and time-consuming. I stopped wanting to try new products since these are working sa'kin. Ngayon, mas matipid na 'yung routine compared to how I was with hair products before I did CGM.

    CGM Update: 1, 2
