Thinking of travelling to South Korea during this pandemic? I've enumerated the travel requirements for Filipinos below. This is aside from the visa, alright? Let's start! ✨

It's been tooooooo long!

Not only for the blog updates but also for offline activities. Glad to be able to go out again and enjoy meeting friends offline and attending events like this. ♥️

This post will have photos from the event I attended named, "#GandaKorea DIY Travel Seminar" where they shared travel tips, showed attractions (Seoul and Jeju Island), and of course, travel requirements to South Korea during this pandemic.

Take note that as of posting (April 30, 2022), they're still not issuing visa and no flights for leisure travellers are operating yet.

This event was held in hopes that we are a day closer to returning to our second home. Sabi nga ni Miss Kring, pilgrimage. HAHAHAHA.

I received a T Money freebie. Hehehe. Manifesting a "pilgrimage" next year. I miss you, Busan!

This card makes a DIY trip much more convenient 'cause this is all you need whenever you ride trains and buses. This is also accepted in convenience stores.

The event started with an opening dance from Nara - the performance group from the Korean Cultural Center.  Happy 10 years, girls! So proud to be one of the members from way back. Ito na ba ang pagbabalik naming mga umalis? Nyahaha

"The Korean Embassy in the Philippines suspended accepting/processing of Korean Tourist Visa Application until further notice." As of May 2022

Below will be the travel requirements one must have when travelling to Korea during the pandemic.

Korean Visa for Filipinos 2022

1. Negative COVID-19 test valid within forty right hours before flight.

2. Travellers must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Two doses, and a booster shot within 180 days from the second shot.

3. Q-Code (QR Code) from the Quarantine Information Advanced Input System

Korean Visa for Filipinos 2022

To obtain the Q-Code, you must prepare passport with valid visa, date of travel, vaccination record and PCR negative result.

Upon landing in Incheon, you must show your QR Code to the quarantine office as a proof that you've done all the requirements above.

Travellers are required to take PCR test within 24 hours of arriving. For people who are staying for more than 5 days, you're required to take a rapid test on your 6th or 7th day.

In between the requirements, you're free to enjoy Korea. Hehehe! Hashtag SANAOL. 🤣

While you're at it, I've previously uploaded a lot of must visit places in Seoul and in Busan. You may access the post in the Korea Tag of this blog.

Below are the new attractions in Jeju Island.
Btw, there is no visa requirements in Jeju but there isn't also a direct flight from the Philippines. As of writing, there are still no flights but when the flights resume, your option is a Manila - Hong Kong - Jeju flight if you're not able to secure a visa.

Snoopy Garden

Moomin Land

There are also media attractions but I wasn't able to take photos of the presentation.

My Soul Seoul

Come and Mark It Your Own.

Manifesting our Korea travel as well. 💕💕💕 Another someday. Hehe.

So far, though, my favorite place in Seoul is Seoul Fortress and my favorite place in Busan is Igidae Coastal Walk.

Miss Kring, the host of the event with Miss Kylene, the newest Honorary Ambassador. 💕 Lovin' the all pink outfits. Hehehe.

#GandaKorea , Let's go to Beautiful Korea!

PS. GANDA (간다) is the base form the verb go in Korean, GANDA is the word for beautiful in Filipino.

I was inspired to do this compilation while watching bb's virtual fan meeting to celebrate his 10th debut anniversary entitled "Park Seo Joon, Comma" So here, a compilation of the several filming locations of Park Seo Joon that I was also able to visit while travelling in South Korea.

BUT FIRST:

Photos and Videos from Park Seo Jun's Bench Funmeet in Manila!

Fight For My Way (쌈 마이웨이) is my all-time favorite Kdrama so I'm starting with it.
Most are in Busan.

Sorry na, Choi Ae Ra.

I won't put description aside from the first two places that I'll be putting here. :) You can click on the links if you want to know more about the place 'cause I've blogged about all these places before.

Namil Bar/ Fight For Way 쌈 마이웨이 Park
Walking distance from this park is where the rooftop scenes in Fight For Way were filmed. I was surprised when I visited and saw how they made this park look like a FFMY outdoor museum overlooking this part of Busan. Made me proud as a Seo Joon fan, tbh. It has all you can ask for and more. It's also very easy to locate especially if you're coming from Busan KTX station. 💗

Namil Villa  - Fight For My Way
This is the apartment complex that they used in the drama. Two of my roommates accompanied here even if they haven't seen the drama. hehe! They were also the ones who took some photos of Seo Joon and I and didn't care whether we're on a busy place and people are staring. HAHAHA.

Ilgwang Beach- Fight For My Way

We currently have grapes on a grapevine here at home. Reminded me of the first time I saw one back in San Diego and I remember posting about that here. I searched and saw that I included it in my Coronado Beach post before so I thought that I'd post my Hotel del Coronado revisit here too.

Just one of the many places I never thought that I'll be able to see twice.

USA: Coronado Beach, San Diego, California

This is the dog beach.

A portion of the beach that is accessible to dogs who want to swim and play in the shore. I had a great time watching them even if they're not my dogs. Sana makaganyan din sila Denden someday. HAHAHA!

Historic beachfront hotel in San Diego.

The exterior of this hotel definitely reminded me of Primm Valley Hotel in Nevada because of the building structure and color. You know what and I realized it while looking at the photo above that it reminds me of some houses in San Francisco too.

There's a restaurant facing the sea. From there, you can see the wide ocean and on some areas the hotel pool.

We didn't check in but you're free to roam around the common areas of the hotel especially since this is an icon and a tourist spot in San Diego.

This was near the parking area so walked at the sand once again before bidding the place goodbye.

It's not like I'm always at the beach. Parang mas marami pa ngang times na nasa-beach ako ng naka-jacket these past years kasi malamig kesa nag-swimming pero nakakamiss din ah.

beaches not peaches

Sino 'to? 😂

Maliban sa kwintas at damit, di na ako 'yan. HAHAHA! It's not like I wore heavy make-up before. hahahha. Nakakapanibago lang talaga ulit kapag nakikita ko tapos lagi na kong maputla ulit ngayon.

Will I you thrice? Nth times perhaps?

Nivea Active for Men SPF 15 Lip Balm

Here's a Nivea Lip Balm that I discovered by accident. I wasn't able to bring my own so I borrowed. Not advisable 'cause social distancing 😂 Just that my lips dry and flake fast so I needed to put on a lip balm.

PURCHASE YOURS HERE:

NIVEA SPF 15

This is made for men so it's very light, without fragrance, and not sticky as if nothing's there when you swipe on your lips. There's shine but it's faint and almost unnoticeable.

Does its job as a lip moisturizer with an SPF15 protection. I love it 'cause as I've said, it's very light so perfect especially for the humid days we have while wearing face masks throughout the day. I don't think that only men can use this even if it says that it's specifically for men.

I'll try to post the rest of my travels with flower fields, parks, and attractions that I haven't uploaded here yet 'cause I want to make another compilation with them just like the cable car rides compilation that I posted a while back. For the meantime, here's my second favorite area in Carlsbad. HAHAHA. My first is the Strawberry Picking field but this is not about that.

Cable Car Rides Compilation *hopefully not the end*

Spring 2019: Sakura and Flower Fields (Japan and USA)

This is an annual Spring attraction in Carlsbad, California and it has been that way since 40 years ago. The field is accessible from March 1st to whenever Mother's Day is so when this gets posted, there will only be two days left for this year's access. Hopefully, we'll all be in better life condition during next year's Spring.

This may serve a guide for a visit here some time in the future.

The Flower Fields Ticket Rates

We frequented buffets serving strawberries and we would always have fresh strawberries bought in Costco when I was in the States so I didn't feel the urge to buy anything here. It's a different scenario here in the Philippines though 'cause anything fresh strawberries is always a dilemma of whether I'm buying or not.

We passed by here when we were driving to San Diego from Los Angeles Airport. Back then, I didn't know that this is a part of our itinerary so I was really excited when I was told that we were going here.

There are information boards such as this throughout the flower field so even if you walk there without a guide, you'll still be able to learn a new thing or two or three? 😜

The largest field of flowers that I've been at to date. There's definitely a lot more to the Flower Fields aside from the rows and rows of Ranunculus. I was probably too excited seeing the flower fields that why I have no pictures of the other parts of the area but there are greenhouses with roses, poinsettias, etc.

I am not really familiar with the names of flowers aside from those that I've frequently seen before, of course. These are ranunculus flowers, it's so amazing how they look so different yet similar, if you can see what I mean.

This place is a vast hill of flowers with several activities and things to do that you can actually allot an entire day if you plan on seeing all the other attractions/exhibits inside. Also, there's a nearby outlet mall called Carlsbad Premium Outlets with several restaurants should you want to look for something to eat and shop afterwards.

Inlove with the visual and the scent of this place.

The flowers on this part of the field weren't in full bloom yet. Another thing worth mentioning is that it overlooks the Carlsbad Beach when you're on top of the hill.

Tractor Wagon Tours

For a fee, you get to ride the tractor either as a tractor tour of the whole area or as a shuttle that will drop you off on top of the flower hill.

Vibrant color of the ranunculus flower field is visible even when driving from the Interstate-5/ San Diego Freeway.

Bye, Flower Fields!
Until the day that I'll see you again in this lifetime. 😂💓

Taiwan: Zhongshe Guan guang Flower Market, Taichung

Since it's Spring in the Northern Hemisphere now, photos of flowers is everywhere in my Instagram's post recommendations. Probably the reason why I was compelled (by myself, kasi naman 😂) to post this before this year's Spring Season ends. HAHAHA! Sabi ko na eh and I should really be thankful for this that considering the frequency of my upload these days, I have enough backlogs that will last me several months even without new travels during this pandemic.

In Spring time, hope blooms even in the most loneliest forgotten meadow.

Praying and hoping that this nightmare ends in the nearest future.

Also in Carlsbad, CA:

Legoland Waterpark
Legoland Miniland USA
Oceanside
Strawberry Picking
