So there are two Wynn Hotels in Macau. The one in Macau (old) and this one in Cotai Strip. I'll be blogging about the other hotel in my next posts... :)

For that afternoon, our itinerary were the hotels in Cotai Strip. You usually don't see this being photographed a lot since this is at the back side of the strip and for some people, the cable car isn't really that of a "sight to see." For us though, we were looking forward to the cable car ride.

While there is a shuttle bus route that will take you around the hotels in Cotai, we decided to walk 'cause we still passed through and took photos at the different hotels there. When we reached the building, the water fountain show was already happening but we weren't sure if we could afford the cable car ride so we stood there watching the fountains for quite a time.

And we were like... OKAY. Once in a lifetime. Magbayad na lang tayo. :)))

But as soon as we approached the lower station of the cable car, it turns out to be a complimentary ride for people going to the hotel. WHAT?! HAHAHAH

It was a fun short ride. There weren't a lot of people yet but you have to share the cabin with other people going to the hotel. On our way back down though, we didn't have other people with us so we were able to take photos.

We just took photos inside and looked for designs like this. :))

In Las Vegas, Wynn has one of the most beautiful interior design with all the flowers and you can see bits of those in Wynn Palace.

Las Vegas, Nevada: Las Vegas Strip Hotels (North)

I was looking at the pool back then kinda wishing that I'd be able to stay in one of the Wynn Palace hotels and just last year, I was able to go back to Las Vegas and stayed at Wynn for three days. Just that, I was too busy to use to the pool.

Anyway, the photo above was taken on a different day 'cause we decided to go back for Starbucks.

This was on our last day in Macau and we didn't want to spend it walking around 'cause we've been doing that for the past four days already. Just so happened that out of all the places we went to, this Starbucks was the one we wanted to go back to... 'cause... we still had enough money. Hahah! Turns out that touring Macau was not so expensive as long as you won't gamble all your funds.

One of the unique Starbucks we were able to visit 'cause it looks like a fancy palace. Probably adjusted 'cause it's located in Wynn.

While there's already a bus stop at Wynn, we decided to ride the cable car for the last time and then walked to MGM. That bus took us near Taipa and then we walked back to Macau Inn Hotel.

PS. I was able to go back to Macau last year as well but it was in July. I liked March weather more 'cause it's easier to tour around when it's not too hot. During our March travel (the time when these photos were taken), we had to wear a light jacket because it got chilly at times especially when we go near a body of water.

First post in this blog for this year goes to Paris!!

Happy New Year!!!

The Parisian Macao labas for the Eiffel Tower replica. Hahaha!

Watching Emily in Paris and Amélie kinda re-ignited my Parisian/Europe dreams. Bakit kasi tayo nood ng nood kung wala naman tayo mapuntahan at wala pa tayong budget?! 🤣

It will take years before I'd get there and I don't even know if this lifetime will allow me to pero kk, bahala na. Dito muna ko sa mga Eiffel Tower replicas ko at least, diba. Napuntahan ko na.

This was taken during the first time I went to Macau. I went there in 2018 and in 2019. Both trips I was not able to upload entirely here, kapag di ko pa natapos lahat ngayong 2021, ewan ko na lang.

I've decided to upload my backlogs just so I'd have things to post apart from my life updates that no one is asking for. Di lang ikaw nagsasawa sa selfies, ako rin naman. Wala lang kasi akong choice. hahaha.

Cotai Strip 💗

I can't remember which hotel did we take this photo from but there was a queue when we passed by so we fell in line too. Inggitera lang. haha!

(4D4N) Macau Travel Itinerary; 'Cause it's more than a day tour

It's impossible to miss this spot when travelling to Macao, specifically in Cotai Strip since it stands out. It's actually much better to have photos taken here than the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas since this is less crowded. Even the establishments - wider 'yung spaces between.

Second time in Macau.

What it looks like behind the photo. Hahaha!

May there be an Eiffel Tower/ France/ Totoong Europe moments in this lifetime someday. 💝

There's a light and sound show at night and you can also go up this Eiffel Tower since they have an observation deck. There's also a souvenir shop near the entrance of the observation deck where you can get souvenirs that will remind you somehow of Macau and Paris.

Just that when we were deciding which activity to do, we opted for the Ferris Wheel in Studio City which I'll be posting here soon as well.

Did not have a lot of time to walk around inside the Parisian, we just ate our dinner in their food court then went out again.

Nice to see the growth of my hair from March 2018 to July 2019 with one haircut between. Gives me hope na hindi na mauulit my five haircuts ng November 2019 - November 2020. HAHAHA!

Jusko, Tintin 2021++. Huwag ka muna kasi magpa-tempt sa malanding gunting! 'Yung ikaw kapag hindi ka impulsive, gusto makita kung ano itsura ng buhok mo na lalagpas sa shoulder length kahit daw magastos sa conditioner. 😂

After walking around near the border of Macau and Zhuhai, we rode a bus to get here. From the border, we rode the free shuttle bus of MGM to MGM Grand. I have the backlog ready but I chose to post this first.

At first, it was more confusing to ride the city buses in Macau 'cause not only don't we have a loose change for the payment, we didn't know the routes. What usually happened was we looked for the pick-up points of the free casino hotel shuttle buses and then work our way from there since we weren't in a hurry anyway. On our third day, the places in our itinerary weren't shuttled by the hotels. We got used to riding the public city buses and we had enough smaller bills for the fare so it became easier.

MGM Grand

We didn't go inside the MGM Grand since the other MGM along Cotai Strip was the one in our itinerary. When we went home to the Philippines, we saw in one of the photos uploaded in Instagram that the interior of this MGM was beautiful too. Kinda like the Palazzo Hotel in Las Vegas with big butterfly statues on display inside the main hall.

Statue of Kun Iam - Buddhist Goddess of Love, Mercy, and Compassion

This is located in the waterfront area in Macau Peninsula.

One of the reasons why I liked Macau is it was a mix of everything that interests me. For the religion aspect, albeit Buddhism being the predominant religion in the area, they have several Roman Catholic churches there as well. I am a practicing Roman Catholic but I observe Buddhism as a way of life/living. I see to it that I stop by and visit Buddhist temples whenever I travel. No. Actually, scratch that 'cause I like visiting temples of various religions.

The dome below the statue is a Lotus-shaped Ecumenical Center which is accessible for free to the public.

This place is like an isolated part of Macau peninsula despite having several hotels in front of it. One the other side, btw, you can see the ferries from Hong Kong. I might blog about the border crossing of HK - Macau too.

Singapore - Indonesia Border Crossing via Ferry

It was smoggy in Macau so the photos are gloomy. But in the photo above, there's a faint white statue of Goddess A-Ma - the goddess of seafarers and fishermen on top of the mountain. That area is Coloane, there is a cultural village and the coastal trail is there as well. I was expecting Macau to be a small country but it was smaller than what I was expecting. Have we allotted a week there, we could've toured around the whole country.

Macau Beyond Casinos Tour: Hac Sa Long Chao Kok Coastal Trail (黑沙海濱馬路)

We knew Wynn Hotel has a fountain show outside that's why we waited until sunset in that area so we can watch it.

The show in Wynn Palace along Cotai Strip is grander though this one was worth the visit as well.

Macau: Wynn Palace, Cotai Strip

We had a lot of time to explore this area. As you can see, the tall building in the middle of this picture is Lisboa Hotel. It looks far from the water fountain but we were able to walk to a farther hotel where we had our dinner before going back to our hotel.

Ganda nito in person especially at night.

Very Downtown Vegas feels here in Macau Peninsula. Ganda ng night lights tapos may slight sea breeze pa.

From this angle, you can see where we came from. Sa dulo pa nung right most building (MGM Grand). HAHAHA! Para sa iba parusa na maglakad ng ganyang kahaba pero it was our normal. :)) Kakamiss din! Keri lang, madami naman nababalikan kagaya nito. 💓

March was a good month to visit Macau. Perfect weather! The second time I visited there was July and it was their summer so it was really hot and humid.

This was the only time we splurged on food during our whole stay in Macau.

I initially thought that I'd appreciate Macau especially Cotai Strip because it's considered the Las Vegas of Asia. However, the thing that I liked the most when touring around was the significant Portuguese influence you can experience there. That mix of culture was very interesting, tbh.

We booked the voucher from Klook.

Although there are a lot of overlooking places in Macau, Macau Tower is definitely the best if you wanna see a 360 view of Macau and even the border of mainland China.

There are parts of the observation deck where you'll be walking on top of a glass floor. Only the first step is scary, you'll get a hang of it after some time.

<3

After roaming around the observation deck, we went to the restaurant for our afternoon tea.

They offer eat-all-you-can for dinner and lunch but we opted for the afternoon tea because of our itinerary. Not bad! Since you eat the food slowly, you actually feel full plus, we were there to enjoy the view anyway.

Had several servings of their milk tea which was unlimited. So good!

One of the main thing you'd notice when you're up there is the haziness of the place. It didn't feel polluted when we were walking but you'd notice the smog from the restaurant.

Aside from the bungee jumping, sky walk is also offered in this building. Both activities were way out of budget so we just looked at them. AHAHA!

Macau

Lisboa is really one of the more prominent building in this area.

From anywhere in Macau, you can ride a bus to get here if you're not coming from a casino where there's free service.
The routes you can choose from are 5, 5AX, 9A, 18, 18B, 23, 26, 32 and N2.

From here, we waited for a free shuttle bus that took us to Cotai Strip.

Last year, I compiled photos from the different flower fields/gardens that I visited in Japan and USA.

Spring 2019 - I said before that 2019 has been incredibly fast, well, di niya pa kasi kakilala si 2020 na ilang buwan ng gumigising sa walang kasiguraduhan at daily routine na nag simula nung March. lol pero k. HAHAHAHA. NVM. Alam niyo na 'yon. :)))

For this year, I'm compiling all my cable car rides in one post since nag "On This Day"  sa Facebook 'yung Maokong, Taiwan at dahil na-post ko na 'yung kulang which is the Ngong Ping Cable ng HK.

BALIK-TANAW:

Genting Highlands, Malaysia

This was my first cable car ride and the funniest so far. HAHAHA! Buti di ako na friendship over dito. The friends that I was with during this cable car ride were scared of heights and we all didn't know that it would be this high kaya tuwang tuwa sila sa'kin niyan. Huwag na raw kami umalis ulit kahit kailan pero joke lang syempre, kasi umalis pa rin kami. HAHAHAHA!

Palm Springs Aerial Tramway
San Jacinto State Park, California, USA

I was ecstatic when I learned that in order to get to the State Park, we were supposed to ride a cable car.  Baka naman Sequioa o Yosemite o Grand Canyon... sayang visa. HAHAHAHA!

Palm Springs Windmills and Baker, California

Del Mar County Fair, San Diego, California

I saw this in the post - my hand with a lot wounds because my skin reacts/has allergic reaction to the latex in the gloves that we use when cooking/preparing food in Las Vegas. Four years later, I've almost forgotten about these and my hands don't even have scars to remind me of those days. Sana ito rin. Four years in the future, I'll look back on this day and I won't remember the confusion that this phase brought to my life - sana point of breakthrough ang maalala ko. Mas maaalala ko 'yung saya, 'yung gratitude, 'yung strength at 'yung growth na nakuha ko rito... kung meron man.

Maokong Gondola, Taiwan

There's a matcha ice cream waiting at the end of this cable car ride. To be honest, I was looking forward to that more than the cable car ride but since this was my first time riding a crystal glass-floored cabin, syempre tuwang tuwa rin ako. Ang saya.

The nice thing about their cable car is that you won't have to pay extra if you want to experience the crystal cabin. The line is a bit longer for the crystal but at least, same price.

Taipei Zoo link: here.

BOOK YOUR TICKETS HERE.

Guia Lighthouse Cable Car, Macau

This was the one that we were supposed to look for in order to get to Guia Hill. The shortest of the cable cars I've ridden but well-appreciated since we would've taken the long route again if we weren't able to locate this Cable Car station. HAHA!

Wynn Palace, Cotai Strip, Macau

Sweetest surprise of Wynn Palace Macau. Rode this for five times just because it's free! HAHAHA! Again, I don't see this frequently in photos when people tour around Macau. I don't know if it's because cable cars aren't really interesting (ako lang ba tuwang-tuwa?) or because the location of Wynn is at the back of Cotai Strip that going there via bus is the more convenient way.

Busan Air Cruise
Songdo Skypark, Busan, South Korea

BOOK YOUR TICKETS HERE

LOOOOOOVE! MY LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE!

What makes this different from the rest is that this is over the ocean. Madalas kasi through mountains 'yung cable cars. You can spend the entire day in Songdo beach since there are a lot of things to do in this area of Busan. I was having breakfast in our apartment's kitchen and then a friend came and asked me where was I spending my free time that day. I told her my "schedule" doesn't start until 6 in the evening so I basically have the entire day and was thinking of going far. One hour travel via public transport without traffic congestion is already far. You can do a lot of things in a day at masusunod pa rin schedule mo since hindi kakainin ng traffic 'yung oras. Anyway, ayon na nga, dito kami nagpunta. We rode a crystal cabin. Gosh. Wala kong masabi. Mahal kita, Busan. I will always look forward to visiting you again.

Must-visit Places in Busan, South Korea

Nagasaki Ropeway, Japan
10 Million Dollar Night View at Mt. Inasa, Nagasaki

This place is considered one of the three World's Best Night Views pero syempre... pinuntahan namin ng umaga. HAHAHA! Experience is in the link kasi wala naman na ako masyadong masabi. This is just a short ride to get to the viewing area at Mt. Inasa.

Ngong Ping 360
 Lantau Island, Hong Kong

BOOK YOUR TICKETS HERE.

This, for me, has the nicest view so far 'cause it has everything that I want to see when travelling. You have your city with the high-rise buildings, your body of water, your mountains and your forest. You can also opt for a crystal cabin if you want to.

No wonder this cable car ride and the one I've mentioned earlier in Palm Springs, California are included in the World's Top 10 Cable Car experience.

Vivaldi Snowyland
Yangpyong, South Korea

My first and only out-of-the-country trip this 2020. This cable car ride was from the ski slope to the ice park in the mountains and vice versa.

💗💗💗

My could haves, should haves, and would haves. Dami, noh? I saw this in a different perspective now that I am constructing my post. Kasi it was never ending eh, it is never ending. I keep reaching for something. I keep wanting more. Not remembering that this was one of the things I wanted and hoped for some six years ago. And kung hindi ko pa 'to ma-appreciate lalo dahil lang ang dami kong gusto na biglang nawala at bumalik sa mga "someday" kong di ko na naman alam kung paano. What would that make me?

Ganon naman, noh? We're a work in progress, haven't figured everything out, nagre-realign ng mga wants and priorities (though it took me a pandemic to finally do this at nadadapa pa rin ako minsan! HAHA!) We grow and we change. Not striving for a dream you once had doesn't make you a lesser a person. It's just that you've outgrown whatever that was because of current circumstances. Most important thing talaga, we're trying.

Gusto kong i-upload at i-kwento lahat lahat pero as you can see, nagiging sentimental ate mo ghorl kaya isa-isa lang. Okay. Enough enough. Cable car compilation 'to. Hindi kaartehan. HAHA!

Changi International Airport
Singapore

Infairness sa gusto ni Tintin 2014, nakarami naman na siya na cable car ride until 2020. At ito na nga ang final before the pause. 'Yung cable car ride on a winter day. Kinikilig ako actually at nakaka-amaze at the same time na ito na 'yon oh. 'Yung "sana" ko six years ago, tapos na pala. hehehe! Sana. Sana. Sana. Para sa ibang mga bulong at mga bagong hiling ng puso ko. Sana. Sana. Sana.

May mga bagay na hindi pa natin alam kung paano pero nangyari at nagawa natin. ❤️ Just like all our concerns, frustrations, wishes, dreams now... hindi pa man natin alam kung paano exactly pero magagawan at magagawan ng paraan. 🥰
Everything, in time. 💖
